Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight

In addition to inciting widespread fan fervor, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight has drawn overwhelming critical and tastemaker support across the board. Pitchfork claimed, "SCOTT's second studio album, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, is the Houston rapper's most concise and cohesive project to date," adding, "He has always been a mood-setter and a vocalist, and he is in full command of the vibe, tone, and mood of this entire project more than ever." Houston Press wrote, "SCOTT's playground is chaos; the pure and unbridled variety that some have tried to emulate live but have ultimately settled for second place," while W Magazine fittingly dubbed him, "Your new rap superhero." Billboard described the album as "his own trap opera," and Rolling Stone profiled him extensively.

Over the course of 14 tracks, TRAVIS threads together an engaging, enthralling, and epic patchwork of anesthetized and apocalyptic production, mind-numbing raps, and glorious hooks punctuated by an A-list cast of collaborators. Kendrick Lamar delivers hard-hitting and hypnotic bars in the middle of "Goosebumps" just before a signature chantable chorus. "The Ends" veers between a haunting hum and a verse-for-verse tandem of our protagonist and Andre 3000 of OutKast. "Way Back" drips into a searing guitar solo as "Sweet Sweet" fires off one of his stickiest hooks to date. By the time The Weeknd and TRAVIS serve up a smooth send-off on "Wonderful," you're in the Trap for life, and you won't want to leave

Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight is finally here, and TRAVIS SCOTT's presence can be felt throughout pop culture louder than ever.

    Ransom 2 (Pre-Order)

The debut studio album by Atlanta trap producer Mike WiLL Made-It, Ransom 2 is now available here on 2-disc vinyl. From Beyonce's Formation and Rihanna's Pour It Up to Black Beatles by Rae Sremmurd and Humble by Kendrick Lamar, Mike Will has produced some of the most exciting trap-centric hits of recent times. On his follow up to 2014's Ransom mixtape, he employs the vocals of some of those same chart-topping artists like Rihanna and Kendrick while giving due attention to lesser known label mates like Andrea and Eearz. What results is an album full of his signature bangers all the way through.

    Hunt EDA Brush

The Hunt EDA record cleaning brush contains over 1,000,000 anti static carbon fibers. The fibers are in two rows with a static grounding pad centered between. The grounding pad supports the tiny carbon fibers and keeps them erect so they can dig down deep into the groove and extract trapped dust. Look at a record. It contains microscopic undulations inside the groove wall smaller than a human hair that the naked eye cannot see. This is how music is stored on an LP. And this is why fat pads will not do. A fat pad can't get down into the groove. It simply brushes over the top and removes the surface dust. The real culprit is the dust that's trapped deep in the record groove. The only way to remove this dust is with the Hunt EDA. It's super easy to use. Don't push it down on the record simply support the back of the brush with your hand and let the brush's weight do the work. You want to keep those bristles erect not rolled over. The Hunt EDA comes with it's own support stand which also doubles as a cleaning tool. Slide the stand back and forth across the carbon fiber bristles to remove the dust. This will keep the carbon fibers clean and free from your messy hand oils. Use alone or ideally with a Zerostat gun. First, destat the record with the gun then use the Hunt EDA to brush the dust off. There is no finer dry record cleaning method.

Trap Them return to the forefront of American extreme music with their latest masterpiece of brutality Darker Handcraft, their Prosthetic debut and follow up to 2008's Seizures in Barren Praise. The band once again recorded their metal, punk, d-beat, hardcore hybrid with Converge guitarist, Kurt Ballou at his God City Studios. Lyrically and sonically, Darker Handcraft is as bleak, angry and desperate as ever. The album's artwork was done by similar minded artist, Justin Bartlett, who has also collaborated with Gorgoroth, Sunn O))) among others.

    Blissfucker

Blissfucker, the groups second release for Prosthetic Records, has once again established Trap Them as not so much a band, but an entity. Recorded in the final months of 2013 at Godcity Studios with long time producer (the unspoken fifth member) Kurt Ballou, the lineup was rounded out by new additions Brad Fickeisen on drums and Galen Baudhuin on bass. The new album, three years in the making, resulted in what will widely be considered their opus, forty five plus minutes of an unrestrained, unmedicated, unapologetic display of depression, desperation and blasphemy.

Fear In A Handful Of Dust (On Sale)

ELITIST are emerging on top of a new scene growing rapidly in the United States of America. Hailing from Portland, Oregon the quartet has its roots in the Hardcore scene. Yet under the influence of early Death Metal in the vein of MORBID ANGEL and a strong dose of Black Metal their sound shifts to something as fresh as radical. The crusty spirit of Sludgecore transparent in chaotic structures and moments of uncontrol is vomited upon the world with screams of anger and disgust by vocalist Joshua Josh Greene. This is met by the burning hatred of blazing guitars carrying the force of Death and darkness of Black Metal. Loud and passionate ELITIST force the world to listen first with their self titled EP Elitist in the year 2009, which was followed by a split 7 with TRANSIENT (2011). Having shared stages with GAZA, TRAP THEM, TRANSIENT and others the Americans are now ready to unleash the fury of their debut album Fear in a Handful of Dust with the help of Season of Mist.

In ELITIST's own words: This is for those of us who observe and recognize the evidence of evil in faith, hypocrisy of government and the poisons of herd mentality. We'll scream our message of discontent from bloody throats and open wounds. Get ready for a violent punishment and a lesson in destruction. Get ready for ELITIST!

A rare musical maturity weaving live instrumentation into an electronic sound world- Quietus

Crystallized melodic sparkle and rhythms running from Actress-like flights to low-slung bomp Boomkat

What Circle Traps do may not be dance music, but their subtlety of touch and the adeptness of sound design is sure to win
them fans from that quarter, as well as many others Inverted Audio

Created in an industrial workplace in Leyton, where Canary Wharf punctures the skyline, Circle Traps craft music made
in the image of the modern city. The group consists of Jack Wyllie, Duncan Bellamy and Will Ward and was formed in
East London in 2010 and quickly scored their first release on fellow East Londoner Subeena's Opit Records in early 2011.
Their eponymous debut EP earned serious critical praise from the likes of The Wire, Quietus and Fact Magazine. Their
attention to ambient textures is reminiscent of Actress and Daniel Lopatin, but their unique, multi-layered, crystalline
vision is consistently offset by dance floor impulses that nod to Detroit through the likes of Model 500 and Derrick May.
The Machine City EP is a lush amalgamation of textural, distorted melody and bassier dance floor leanings.

At times the album gives the impression of a kind of futureprimitive take on Trap; rusted and distorted 808 claps and bass drums collide with exotic percussion and mangled industrial clangs, reminiscent of more recent industrial takes on techno such as Pete Swanson's music. It's a thoroughly unique soundworld that stretches from the 4/4 kick of 'Dusco' to the Brazillian percussion meets trap triplets of 'Drizzle'. 'Dank' is made of exhausted and aggressively distorted hip hop, while 'Drowning' has an ambient feeling to it, leading into 'Dilute''s pockmarked abstraction. 'Death' is mercilessly overloaded and fever-sick, while 'D'Mmmm' works with just a looped sample and plodding processed 808s. following on are 'Demonoid' which stretches cymbals and drums into strange shimmering shapes and the brainwipe of 'Damiana's fierce oppressive squelch.

After 2011's widely acclaimed album 'Severant', Kuedo returns with this emotionally epic, dancefloor detonator of a track from the same sessions. 'Work, Live & Sleep In Collapsing Space' starts with huge symphonic synths, halfspeed kicks, trap style hi-hats rushes and flammed 808 snares, slowly building up with giant whooshes of gaseous noise before breaking out into an intense trance Moroder-esque synth that totally fills the track, making it sound absolutely vast and a little bit frightening, running it through effects to give it an aggressive, spacey rush that takes your breath away.

A$AP Mob member Ferg has always been the most dazzlingly unpredictable of his crew, a rapper as likely to delve into Jamaican dancehall and '90s house music as his Harlem roots. An even more eclectic, expansive album than 2013's Trap Lord, Always Strive and Prosper finds Ferg amongst collaborators as interesting-and unlikely-as bassheads Skrillex ("Hungry Ham") and Cashmere Cat ("Yammy Gang"), flipping from street tough ("New Level") to teddy bear (the Ty Dolla $ign and Chris Brown-featuring "I Love You") with ambition and ease.

    Traplord

A founding member of Harlem's A$AP Mob (Always Strive and Prosper), A$AP Ferg was initially the group's main clothing designer but after teaming with Mob member A$AP Rocky he became one of the crew's breakout rappers. While Ferg and Rocky were originally planned to be the crew's Mobb Deep-like duo, they found more success as solo artists, beginning with Rocky and his series of 2012 mixtapes.

Ferg's big break came that same year when his track Work landed as the key cut on the A$AP Mob's mixtape Lords Never Worry. The announcement that A$AP Ferg signed with RCA came in early 2013 and was followed by an all-star remix of Work with Trinidad James, French Montana, and Schoolboy Q added to the cut. That same year Ferg's Persian Wine single landed along with his solo album Trap Lord.

    Into The Sun

Limited Edition Red And White Colored Vinyl

Going scattershot pays dividends on Into the Sun, the very varied 2015 album from Bassnectar and one of most satisfying releases from the heavy electro producer to date. It's especially satisfying when wearing headphones, as interludes and slowly developing tracks dot the album with moments that aren't so dancefloory, although aggressive and bass-heavy highlights like The Mystery Spot and the ridiculously fun Blow (it sounds like Cookie Monster singing a trap song) could certainly rip the speakers at high volume. Like previous releases, the album is divided between Bassnectar productions and remix work for other artists, but what's new this time out are the 2015 Remixes, with old Bassnectar cuts like Breathing getting interesting updates. Try one of his tight and lean EPs for a taster, then come back for a full-length EDM ride worth taking.

    Keep It Like A Secret

Doug Martsch is enough of a guitar god to fill Keep It Like a Secret, one of indie rock's strongest 1999 major-label releases, with blazing solos. He's also ambivalent about the whole thing, which allows him to highlight the album with You Were Right, a despairing litany of classic-rock lyrical hooks.

Most guitar heroes make their mark by doing something extravagant, like playing with their teeth or with their instrument in flames. Doug Martsch of Boise, Idaho's Built to Spill has acquired his guru status by simpler means--he combines his trippy, meandering guitar style with classic pop structures. Doug Martsch also wins points for singing about small-scale moments as well as huge moral abstractions, from watching TV to contemplating the center of the universe. By subtly balancing the forest of dense guitars with Doug Martsch's oddly prosaic yet uncannily beautiful singing, Built to Spill hold the rare achievement of making music that's rooted yet allows you to fly. Time Trap begins with a harplike guitar line floating above a heavy wave of distortion, drifts into a reggae pattern, and eventually rises to the high step of musical theater. The charming and funny You Were Right decides once and for all which of the classic-rock clichÉs ring true. You were wrong when you said, 'Everything's going to be all right' / You were right when you said, 'We're all just bricks in the wall.' It is a richly deserved analysis from alt rock's heroic Everyman.

    Ocean Songs

The emotionally churned fourth album from this heavyweight Australian trio takes we listeners on a ride of hope through the familar bogs of weariness and longing, beckoning us along through thick layers of guitar, violin and drums, until finally trapping us to smother in an inescapable quicksand of true beauty.
