    Stage Four

TOUCHÉ AMORÉ, is a Los Angeles based punk band whose earnest and artful approach to song writing, along with relentless touring, fueled their rise to prominence in the hardcore community.

In 2013 TOUCHÉ AMORÉ crossed into new territory with their beloved release, Is Survived By. The band had reached a high point in notoriety when frontman Jeremy Bolm received news that his mother had been diagnosed with Stage Four cancer. With the band's support, Bolm wanted to go on hiatus to care for his ailing mother. However, as his biggest supporter, she encouraged him to continue on living his dream. So he returned to the road with bandmates- guitarists Nick Steinhardt and Clayton Stevens, bassist Tyler Kirby, and drummer Elliot Babin. In October of 2014 while TOUCHÉ AMORÉ was headlining Fest in Gainesville, FL, the final stop on their tour, Bolm received a call that his mother passed. He went home the next day.

Now from a band both living its dream and marred by loss comes their new album Stage Four. Triumphant in sound and cathartic in delivery, Stage Four is a powerfully creative leap for TOUCHÉ AMORÉ. The first single is the catchy "Palm Dreams," and it's instantly clear from Bolm's vocals that TOUCHÉ AMORÉ is breaking new ground: the career screamer is actually singing, in a quite capable sing-speak harmony. The final track, the lush, jangly "Skyscraper," featuring haunting guest vocals from Julien Baker, ends the album with an atmospheric departure, both sonically and in spirit.

...To The Beat Of A Dead Horse

New Pressing on 180 Gram Clear Vinyl!

Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, Touche Amore set themselves against the glamour and greed of their hometown culture with ...To The Beat Of A Dead Horse, their passionate debut LP. Where Touche Amore's demo 7 (No Sleep Records) was full of promise, ...To The Beat Of A Dead Horse feels fully realized: the guitars bend and weave but always maintain their drive, the rhythms are frequently off kilter but never off-time and the vocals are screamed at the edge of breaking up but they're always exciting, pleasing even. Features guest vocals by Geoff Rickly (Thursday) and Jeff Eaton (Modern Life Is War).

    Keep You

Pianos Become The Teeth are from Baltimore, Maryland; the band made waves on the
scene with their 2009 debut Old Pride and gained national attention with 2011's The
Lack Long After. Their third album and Epitaph debut, Keep You, sees the band taking a
brave step forward to craft a musical statement that truly transcends genres. "There's
still the same amount of passion and energy inherent in this record, it's just presented
in a different way," frontman Kyle Durfey explains. The immediately noticeable difference is Durfey's vocal approach that sees him traded the throat-gutting screams of
the band's early releases with cleaner, more intelligible vocals. However anyone who
has followed the band's trajectory-specifically the song "Hiding" from their 2013 split
with TouchÉ AmorÉ-can trace the way the band's sound has evolved from a melodic
screamo act to a group that create heaviness and weight via raw emotion instead of
distortion and dissonance. Capturing the band's creative vision this time around, producer Will Yip (Circa Survive, Braid) enhances the band's new vision, bringing out harmonies and swelling strings that compliment these songs in exciting ways that even the
band couldn't initially predict . "I think it's a musical growth not a departure," Durfey
summarizes. "I wouldn't say we would never make another overtly aggressive record
again but this is the record we wanted to make."

    Mondo Amore (On Sale)

Mondo Amore is the sophomore release from American singer/songwriter Nicole Atkins. Her sound is known for its mix of traditional vocal styles and introspective lyrics and has been compared to Roy Orbison and singers from the Brill Building era. The album has its genesis in a time of extreme turbulence for Atkins, a period which saw her parting ways with her former major label, while also dealing with the painful termination of a long-term personal relationship. Additionally, her former backing band abandoned the project a week after they started recording the new album.

Atkins dealt with these changes by creating a more volatile sound than she had ever previously attempted, a sonic approach akin to such influences as Scott Walker and Nick Cave, while also touching on longtime inspirations like the blues and classic '60s psychedelic rock. Features a special guest appearance from My Morning Jacket's Jim James on the song War Is Hell.

    Self Love

TASDF "Self Love" is a collaborative release between Touche Amore and Self Defense Family members. "Self Love" was created by 15 musicians working together as one band, all eventually captured by engineer Will Yip (Blacklisted, Title Fight) at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA.

A-Side "Circa 95" is an upbeat combination of Touche Amore's explosive emotional leanings and Self Defense Family's trademark cynicism. As the song twist and turns, it peels and curls to reveal layers of guitars and dueling percussion. All while lyrically paying subtle homage to hardcore legends Unbroken. While B-Side "Low Beams" begins with a contagious jangle before erupting into an catchy sonic finale. Telling the story of nomadic displacement; the highs, lows, and in between that many who travel the open road experience.

    Year Of The Snake

Los Angeles' SILVER SNAKES are back with their second full length, "Year of the Snake," the follow-up to their 2011 critically acclaimed debut, "Pictures
of a Floating World." "Year of the Snake," which was named one of Alternative Press' "Most Anticipated Albums of 2013," sees the band's vocalist,
guitarist and principle songwriter, Alex Estrada, whose "day job" is recording bands including Nails, TouchÉ Amore and Joyce Manor, stepping behind the
board to produce his own band. Roger Camaro, of No Motive, who co-produced "Pictures," worked with Estrada recording drums and basic tracks for the
record. After the recording process in LA, the tracks were sent to Salad Days Studios, in Baltimore, to be mixed by Brian McTernan, whose resume'
includes acts influential to SILVER SNAKES, such as, Cave In, Engine Down, Thrice, and Circa Survive. The resulting eleven songs see SILVER
SNAKES going in a darker direction than they had visited on "Pictures," and finds their dynamic range expanding; the band has grown louder and more
dissonant on tracks like "No Color," while getting quieter and more desolate on tracks like "Lock."

The Things We Think We're Missing

According to Balance and Composure, they can be loud, quiet and everything in between. A pretty apt description in a nutshell. Once you get down to an
intricate school of thought, the lyricism of singer Jon Simmons shows things in a different light. Having all met in the Philadelphia suburb of Doylestown, PA through mutual projects during their high school years, Balance and Composure was formed.

A sonic assault melding influences such as Sunny Day Real Estate, Neutral Milk Hotel and Nirvana, their 2011, critically heralded debut album, Separation, adhered to the band's namesake. A cohesive listen of anthemic and melodic guitar blitzes with poignant lyricism, rhythmic thrusts and an abrasive pop knack in its overall deliverance, Separation helped establish Balance and Composure as one of underground rock's most promising newcomers.

Following their debut, Balance and Composure toured continuously over the next several years with the likes of Circa Survive, La Dispute, Touche Amore
and Title Fight. In the Spring of 2013, the band embarked on their first ever U.S. headlining tour with the recently reunited The Jealous Sound as support. After selling out venues in Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston and New York, it was clear their popularity was at an all time high.\

Picking up where Separation left off, Balance and Composure return once again to push the boundaries of their music with driving riffs and intensely
passionate vocals on the band's long-awaited second studio album, The Things We Think We're Missing. It's the type of record that makes listeners pause and reflect, evoking moments of happiness and sadness over the course of thirteen songs.

    Sunbather (Out Of Stock)

Sunbather is the highly anticipated new album from Deafheaven.

Recorded and engineered by Jack Shirley (Funeral Diner, Comadre) and designed by Nick Steinhardt (Touche Amore) Sunbather deals with the profound sadness found in the quest for one's personal perfection. Serving as an artistic lucid dream of warmth despite the stinging pain of life's cruel idealism.

With opener Dream House George Clarke's tortured vocals familiarly intertwine with Kerry McCoy's hypnotic guitar work before crashing into a wash of post-everything melody. This leads to the moving instrumental Irresistible a track that carries a twisted indie-like sensibility buried beneath glittery layers of guitar and piano. However it is in the title track and beyond where the maturation and growth of Deafheaven brightly shines. In Sunbather they explore sonic peaks and valleys created by superb percussionist Daniel Tracy (new to the band for this recording). His inclusion brings new dynamics to light as an urgent pulse to the swirling musical chaos. Pushing bleak epic Vertigo and the dark emotional closer The Pecan Tree to new, awe-inducing heights.

Without question Sunbather is Deafheaven at the peak of their creative strength and vision of their young existence. A masterfully crafted work of art that will be renowned for years to come.
