    Wonderful Wonderful (Pre-Order)

Wonderful Wonderful is The Killers' fifth studio album and features the top 10 Alternative hit The Man.

Brandon Flowers revealed in May 2015 that he and guitarist Dave Keuning were exchanging ideas for The Killers' fifth studio album. The four members reconvened in October 2015, a few months earlier than originally planned. The band began work on the album at their own Battle Born Studios and also rented houses in Joshua Tree National Park and San Diego. They briefly recorded with Ryan Tedder and other producers in Los Angeles before beginning work with Jacknife Lee, who had been recommended to them by U2 frontman Bono. Lee worked with the band between September 2016 and May 2017 at his home studio in Topanga, California, and at National SouthWestern Recording studios in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lee produced all tracks on the album alongside The Killers, with Additional Production by Erol Alkan on The Man and Stuart Price on Out Of My Mind.

The Killers enlisted Mark Knopfler (of Dire Straits) for a guitar part on Have All the Songs Been Written?. Additionally, Flowers wrote the lyrics for Some Kind of Love over music by Brian Eno. Australian artist Alex Cameron contributed lyrics to the track Run for Cover, which was originally written for the band's third studio album, Day & Age.

    Blue

Ranked 30/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

This is a really wonderful album; Joni just laid it all out there for the world to hear. I feel this new version is the true giant killer. Parts were cut, plated and pressed at RTI and the actual 1971 Reprise master tape was used in disk cutting. Most of the songs on this vinyl version were cut without ANY equalization at all so this will be the closest you will ever get to the sound of the true master tape!

    Dan Dyer Direct-To-Disc Volume 4

Dan Dyer returns with two more volumes of the most incredible sounding, airy, textured recordings you could possibly find in the year 2011. This guy has original after original after original all killer, killer songs. Four volumes (combining his previous two D2D's with these latest two) feels more like scratching the surface than scraping the bottom of the barrel. Dyer is most definitely prolific.

And talented...unbelievably talented. His voice conjures thoughts of Al Green, Stevie Wonder or Sly Stone. His songwriting is deeply introspective and serious.

Dyer, who now lives in Austin, Texas, adds guitar and keyboards to his singing and is joined on these recordings by drums and backing vocals (Michael Hale) along with bass alternating with cello (Mark Williams).

Previous to his APO direct-to-disc recordings, Dyers released records for Fat Caddy Records and for a Lenny Kravitz-run Warner Bros. imprint called Roxie Records.

    C'est Chic

Celebrate 35 Years Of Nile Rodgers & Chic!

Impeccably Mastered From The Original Atlantic Records Tapes By Joe Reagoso

First Time 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl Release Of This Legendary # 1 Pop, R&B & Dance Album!

In the early seventies, Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards were playing in rock
and soul bands across New York City and the east coast, meeting up with Tony Thompson along the way and forming the rudiments of what would become one of the most
powerful and successful pop/r&b units ever known as Chic.

By 1977, they sailed into the top rungs of the charts with their smash debut single
Dance, Dance, Dance along with the killer funk of their first album simply titled Chic.

A year later, their fortunes multiplied to the top of the charts with C'est Chic. The
number one LP was chock full of hit singles, funk madness and probably some of the
finest rock/funk/soul beats ever waxed in a studio. Featuring the huge chart toppers
Le Freak and the super soul of I Want Your Love, Chic truly were at the top of their game
around the world. Along with vocalists Alfa Anderson, Norma Jean Wright and future
superstar Luther Vandross , Chic was the band of choice for party people, dance clubs
and radio stations all over with this brilliant album.

With star power tracks like Happy Man and the stellar instrumental fare of Savoir
Faire, C'est Chic would become a staple at retail and sell over six million units during its
first run at retail. Chic's importance is celebrated today as number one bands like Daft
Punk have paid tribute and collaborated with the funk and dance groove master himself
    , Mr. Nile Rodgers.

This classic album C'est Chic has been out of print on vinyl for decades .that is
    until now!

    Gets Next To You

Born April 13, 1946 in Forest City, AR, Al Green began singing in his family's gospel group. His distinctive vocal talent and extraordinary ability to master pop, R&B, and gospel genres has enabled him to become an international superstar. Not only is he Hi Records' most awarded singer/songwriter, but in a phenomenal career spanning more than thirty years, he's charted six #1 hits and has been inducted into the prestigious Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.

Originally released in 1971, Al Green Get's Next To You was his first major release and it features a killer selection of raw Memphis soul. The formula for his string of subsequent hits is firmly in place and Al's beautiful voice is swept up wonderfully in the sympathetic production handled here by the great Willie Mitchell.

It's hard to imagine how anyone could have come up with a better showcase for Al's amazing voice. Proof of this can be heard on the record's great Green originals All Because, I'm A Ram, You Say It and the classic Tired of Being Alone as well as on the covers like Driving Wheel, Can't Get Next To You and Light My Fire.

    The Sleeping Bag Sessions

Whether it's Hip Hop, it's face pointed reverentially to the Old School, or House stealing Disco riffs by the truck load,
people are increasingly intrigued by back-in-the-day. And common to both the aforementioned scenes and much more
is one person, Arthur Russell, a man some regard as the best songwriter of the 20th century.

In 1981 Arthur set up Sleeping Bag Records with Will Socolov. The first release was the album "24-24 Music" as
Dinosaur L. If you're wondering about the name it would appear Arthur would often use the names of extinct or
near-extinct animals. On one production credit he's "Killer Whale, whilst the logo for Sleeping Bag is a Koala bear! Will
remembers how they came up with the name for their label.

"We were joking about names, and James Brown was on with "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag" and I was sleeping in a
sleeping bag in my apartment and I kind of made a joke about that, and Arthur said that was a great idea for the name
    of the company!"

The line up was pretty much the same as the Loose Joints sessions, (which boasted the Ingram Brothers rhythm
section) and a similar stream-of-conscience approach was taken with the recording itself. Russell arranged the beats
so there'd be a change every 24 bars (hence the title) and the band would have to improvise the songs over the top. He
also made sure he went into the studio when there was a full moon! The album is again very experimental, and makes
occasional uneasy listening but the same magic is very much in evidence.

Arthur would continue to be involved in production and mixing duties for the label, but parted company with Socolov
in 1985. Arthur sadly died of AIDS in 1992 leaving behind many songs; as one obituary put it, it was though he simply
    vanished into his music.
