Thank You, Rock Fans'
Thank YouAlcoa's Thank You EP has its roots set in setbacks. Defeater frontman and Alcoa mastermind Derek Archambault was informed by medical professionals earlier this year that he was in desperate need of a hip replacement. It sadly put any touring plans Defeater had to a grinding halt as Archambault continued to deal with pain and immobility in his hip and left leg. He humbly turned to his bands' fans for help and managed a successful fundraising project on PledgeMusic.com, offering a number of rewards in return. One of those rewards was a brand new, five-song acoustic covers EP from Alcoa appropriately titled Thank You, pressed on a limited number of CDs and available exclusively to his PledgeMusic donors.
Now Bridge Nine is proud to announce that the Thank You EP will be available from the label on 12 vinyl. Thank You features covers of songs by some of the best in contemporary punk and hardcore (and coincidentally, friends of Archambault): I Am the Avalanche, Blacklisted, Make Do and Mend, and Elder Brother, and also includes a new version of Defeater fan favorite I Don't Mind, originally off 2011's Empty Days & Sleepless Nights. Depending on the variant, the one-sided record will also feature a screen printed or etched B-side.1. Shambles [originally by Make Do and Mend]

Falling Faster Than You Can Run (Awaiting Repress)Well, it doesn't take long for Falling Faster Than You Can Run to reveal that Nathaniel Rateliff isn't in a very good place. His deep funk is revealed very quickly on the opening track 'Still Trying': "If you roll in it long enough/your shit won't even smell" sings Rateliff, in between crying out, unaccompanied, "I don't know/I don't know/a god damned thing".
And that's the feeling that sticks throughout this, often very fine, new record from Denver, Colorado's Missouri-born Rateliff. On his second full-length album (dropping the & the Wheel from his name) loneliness is writ large: not the kind of loneliness from actually being along, but the kind that comes from being constantly surrounded by people yet unable to shake the feeling of complete isolation. Rateliff has toured with many, many acts over the past few years and most recently has spent time with Dr Dog and fellow Denver act (and friends) The Lumineers. Thankfully, Rateliff rarely sounds like his friends (you might say I'm not a fan) and instead writes and plays music with a lot of heart and soul. It's often his voice that's the star of the show thanks to the subtly-arranged instrumentation: part matured Kurt Wagner burr and part throat-ravaged bluesman ( a bit The Tallest Man on Earth) it's a voice you could listen to all day. But good voice is nothing without good songs, and Rateliff comes with plenty of ammunition on Falling Faster Than You Can Run.
"Still Trying" is an arresting opener; while Rateliff's heart-wrenching roars are the highlight, the backing isn't too shabby either - acoustic guitar and bass drum battle for the spotlight on a ragged country song, and it sounds authentic, like Rateliff has lived what he's singing. And things get better quickly: "I Am" is mostly just Rateliff and his guitar, as broaches his isolation singing: "you'll never know what's buried there / less you dig around". The music swells as he sings the title over and over, following a similar pattern to the album opener. But before things get too familiar, Rateliff picks up the pace with a couple of full band numbers that could almost be considered jaunty, if we were to ignore the lyrics. "Don't Get Too Close" is fine enough and ticks over nicely like a quickstep, but "Laborman" is even better. Like Wilco at their poppiest, it flies off on crunchy and bright electric guitars which belies the lyrical content: "I got a feelin' / a sleepin' depression / that somebody's gonna get hurt", sings Rateliff, followed by "you got the harness/so where you gonna drag me now?" You can see a pattern developing here; Rateliff's stuck somewhere he doesn't want to be, lonely, but how does he get out of it? Take another look at that album cover too - a couple share a bed, an arm reaches out yet it doesn't touch the other person. It's basically a visual encapsulation of what's being sung about.
The epic electric storm of "Forgetting Is Believing" leads a trio of great closing tracks, ending with the Lambchop-murmur of the title track. Rateliff's baritone is exposed and dusty as he sings "leave me alone/you can see me fall/faster than you can run", ending as he started the record - alone and isolated.
Falling Faster Than You Can Run feels, through the dirt, the shit and the whisky, and despite the loneliness, like a hard-earned triumph for Nathaniel Rateliff.

Vapor Trails (On Sale)2013's celebration of Rush continues with the highly anticipated release of a remixed version of the band 2002's album VAPOR TRAILS. In 2009, two tracks from VAPOR TRAILS (One Little Victory and Earthshine) were remixed for the Retrospective III collection, setting fans into a frenzy in anticipation of a possible remixed version of the entire album being released one day. Four years later, that day is finally approaching.
Vapor Trails was an album made under difficult and emotional circumstances - sort of like Rush learning how to be Rush again - and as a result, mistakes were made that we have longed to correct. David Bottrill's remixes have finally brought some justice and clarity to this deserving body of our work, says Geddy Lee.
Every song has been given a new life, from the fire of 'One Little Victory,' 'Secret Touch,' and 'Ceiling Unlimited' to the melodic musicality of 'Sweet Miracle' and 'How It Is' these songs have been redeemed. Thank you David!
Recently, a career-chronicling Rolling Stone feature praised the band for its continuing artistic vitality, noting that It's true that Rush doesn't mean today what it did in '76 or even '96. It may mean more. Rush's enduring pop culture relevance is perhaps best evidenced by a pair of high profile appearances - a rare national television performance and interview on Comedy Central's The Colbert Report in 2008 (the band's first TV appearance since 1975), and a pivotal role in the story line of the 2009 hit comedy, I Love You, Man, starring Paul Rudd and Jason Segal, where the band also made a memorable cameo in the film.
Beginning with their self-titled debut album in 1974, their extraordinary body of work - which includes such formidable works as 1976's 2112, 1981's Moving Pictures, 1996's Test for Echo, 2002's Vapor Trails and the latest studio album Snakes & Arrows, made a triumphant debut on the Billboard 200 upon its initial release in 2007, entering the chart in the #3 spot. The album's success marked Rush's highest chart debut since 1993, as well as the group's eleventh top ten album in the U.S. Rush has sold more than 40 million records worldwide and garnered untold legions of devoted and admiring fans. According to the RIAA, Rush's sales statistics place Rush third behind The Beatles and The Rolling Stones for the most consecutive gold or platinum studio albums by a rock band.

Consolers of the LonelyWith this release, The Raconteurs are forgoing the usual months of lead time for press and radio set up, as well as forgoing the all important first week sales. We wanted to explore the idea of releasing an album everywhere at once and THEN marketing and promoting it thereafter. The Raconteurs would rather this release not be defined by it's first weeks sales, pre-release promotion, or by someone defining it FOR YOU before you get to hear it...
Another purpose was to also allow people to have their own choice as to exactly which format they would like to hear the album in IMMEDIATELY, rather than having to wait for their favorite format to become available. The band are also not releasing any version of this record that contains bonus tracks. Musically this album will be the same as the band created it no matter what format it is purchased in (The sound quality of each format however, is a different story. The Raconteurs recommend hearing it on vinyl, but the choice is of course up to the listener)...
We hope not to confuse anyone with too many options, or deny them the formats that they like best. The Raconteurs feel very strongly that music has worth and should be treated as such. Thank you to all those who respect music in this fashion, and thank you to our label partners for working with us to get this album to fans in as many formats as possible all at once... - The Raconteurs1. 3x Colored Vinyl + DVD
A genuine sonic phenomenon, a nine-piece force of nature and one of heavy music's most important, recognizable, uncompromising and creatively ingenious bands. Yet to their millions of fans across the world, affectionately known as maggots, SLIPKNOT aren't just a group, they're also a counterculture and a way of life. Those fans play an important role in a new documentary entitled 'Day of The Gusano'.
Directed by SLIPKNOT's own M.Shawn Crahan, aka Clown, Day of The Gusano documents the Iowa band's first ever visit to the country in December 2015 and features exclusive interviews with SLIPKNOT's members talking about the importance of their fanbase and the band's long awaited first ever show in Mexico City.
Talking about the movie, Clown says, SLIPKNOT still has dreams for itself. Finally playing Mexico was one of them. It's been a surreal life of rock and roll for SLIPKNOT and the fact that the dreams still go on for us is simply incredible. Thank you. Guitarist Jim Root continues, We had such a great time at Knotfest Mexico... Not only with all the friends and bands that were there, but with the fans and the crowd we had to document it with. Now we get to share it with the world.
'Day of the Gusano' also chronicles the rabid devotion of the Mexican maggots and sees the band hearing personal, emotive stories from some of their fans, all interspersed with footage from SLIPKNOT's incendiary live show at the inaugural KNOTFEST Mexico. The film features a full surround soundtrack, so you'll not only hear the show, but you'll feel it as if you were actually there.LP 1

Connect (On Sale)Sick Puppies is a three piece rock band that formed in Australia in the late 1990s. The current lineup for the band is Shimon Moore on guitar, Emma Anzai on bass and Mark Goodwin on drums. In the early 2000s the band, which at the time did not include Mark, moved to the states to start their career as a professional rock band. They were signed to Virgin Records and released their second album, Dressed Up As Life which has sold over 200,000 copies in the United States and abroad since it's release in 2007. The band furthered their career and released their third full length album Tri-Polar in 2009 which featured hits such as, You're Going Down, Riptide, Maybe and Odd One.
Connect is an album that takes all types of Sick Puppies sound and combines it all into one. You have hints of Welcome To the Real World, Dressed Up As Life and Tri-Polar in the album. You have the hard rock and heavy bass songs such as, Die To Save You, There's No Going Back, Walk Away, Gunfight and The Trick The Devil Did; and you have the ballads, Poison, Where Did The Time Go, Telling Lies, Connect, Run, Healing Now and Under A Very Black Sky. The album comes together really well and isn't the bad kind of overpowering. Fans, if you've been anxiously awaiting this album to see if it's good; I'm here to tell you that this album is very good and worth the wait.
My Favorite Song Is... There's No Going Back. The song starts right off the bat with a very rhythmic acoustic guitar. The chorus then comes in and hits you with very strong lyrics. There's no going back / when life's a loaded gun / you pull the trigger, trigger / There's no going back / the past is in the past / thank God it doesn't last forever /. The use of Emma as a backup vocalist has always been something I wanted the band to do in every song, and this song, her small presence gives it such a bigger presence on the album. There's No Going Back is also the band's first single off the album.

The deluxe edition will include a 2-LP set including both a re-mastered version of the original album and a 2006 performance, live from Olympia Theatre in Dublin.

"We are busy at work on our new record, but looking back at this album, it's good to be reminded of how far we've come in ten years," said Rodrigo. "We had some crazy times in Ireland, and made many great friends there," added Gabriela. "The fans are so passionate about music, this is a thank you to them and our time in Dublin."

Supposed Former Infatuation JunkieSupposed Former Infatuation Junkie is the fourth album by singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette, originally released in 1998. After the massive success of Jagged Little Pill (1995), Morissette was considered one of the biggest music stars in the world, and many fans anxiously awaited a follow-up album. A dark and wandering album, the mystery of Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie began on its cover, with an image of Alanis's mouth while laughing and a text printed over that image that refers to The Eight Precepts of Buddhism.
The album debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 with the highest first-week sales for a female artist at the time, selling almost half a million copies in its first seven days. The first single from Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie, Thank U, charted high because of the anticipation for the album. Other singles off the album include Joining You which became the album's second single in Europe. Unsent also charted and So Pure made it to the top 40 in the UK.LP1

For His Children and OursSETH AVETT ON THE ALBUM 'FOR HIS CHILDREN AND OURS'
Our dad often tells fans of The Avett Brothers that he is equally proud of our willingness to bale hay or feed the cows with him as he is of our career in music. It is a genuine affirmation, spoken often and with the storytelling flair of a learned yet grounded North Carolinian man of 70 (think Andy Griffith had he spent 35 years welding on Interstate bridges in the southern sun). He is proud of all three of us - the third being our sister, Bonnie. A woman possessing a creative mind, a lovely voice, and a kind heart, she has enthusiastically dedicated much of her life to the study and education of dance (while raising three children of her own). As a proud parent does, dad speaks about us often and with anyone who will listen (strangers possibly preferred). Years ago, this was a source of great exasperation for me. I could not understand or appreciate our dad's motivation or his seemingly infinite willingness to initiate conversations about us, to build us up, to champion us. This was, of course, before I had a son of my own. Now I, the last of my siblings to join the joyful and bleary-eyed ranks of parenthood, gratefully see why this has been (and continues to be) the case. Having a child is a little like falling in love, in its specialness and in its universal ability to shift the meaning of life. I now understand, as my brother, sister, and parents have for years, that when that interior levee breaks and the reservoir of untapped love fills your heart, you are introduced immediately and absolutely to your new favorite subject of conversation.
Jim Avett is a natural-born storyteller. You shouldn't expect to have a seat at the dining room table with the man and have a conversation relegated to small talk and light commenting on current events. It's more probable (by a long shot) that between loading forkfuls of green beans, you'll seamlessly find yourself learning about a World War II submarine battle and the subsequent shark attack. Or a Victorian-era train conductor. Or the little-known backstory about the real life of the DiCaprio-played character in The Revenant. Our dad reads a lot, and his knowledge paired with a great wealth of life experience makes him a person that people like to listen to. The man can be hilarious, but there is a certain pace, depth, and gravity present in his manner of imparting information that is rare. This quality has increasingly shone through in his singing over the last decade. Texturally and spiritually, it fits like a glove over the weathered and beautiful hand of the traditional hymn.
Gospel music is more than a genre with a unifying theme. In our case, it is a vehicle for spending time together. And the longer we are on this earth, the more we realize how important it is to carve out some of that precious time for each other. Our parents make these efforts often, with obvious love and devoted interest in what is happening in our lives. Truth be told, dad probably cared just as much about getting all of us together as he did about the album we were making. The recordings were certainly made with a lot of care, as we all genuinely love the old gospel songs, but I'm willing to bet my father would've recorded any kind of album if it meant a few sunny afternoons with all three of his children. This is a sentiment that we all can thankfully grasp now with great personal clarity.
Jim Avett was raised by a soft-spoken Methodist minister and a dedicated mother with (very) above average skills when seated at the piano. Between their living influence, our parents love and care, and a glowing sense of community provided by our small town church, this record was an inevitability.
For my siblings and me, the prospect of recording an album together gave us an opportunity to add something to the family photo album a document so our children and their own will always have another little connection to their kin (a link in the chain, as Dad says). On this occasion, it is the sound we made with our father when we sang together in the living room.
This piece you are reading now was written for the purpose of announcing an album. I'm writing it so folks will know the album exists and so they may hear it and hopefully enjoy it. Maybe it sells a few copies. Maybe it doesn't. But something else is possible here; perhaps this could be a reminder to you, whoever you are and however you came to lay your eyes on these words, that you have an opportunity. Have you set up your camera and filmed a conversation with your mother, your father, your kids, your great-aunt? Could you, this week, ask an elder of your own blood what it was like for them growing up? What's their favorite Christmas memory? What was their town like? How did they first fall in love? Imagine what it will be like for family members to see a hundred years from now... or two hundred! You have in your hands the ability to gift a priceless treasure to loved ones you will never meet but love just the same. These kinds of efforts are made so the little ones, a long time from now, will have an easier path to familial strength, and a bridge to knowing who and where they are from. Maybe you could sing some songs together...
We are all part of a family. What could you give to yours?

Stereo '57: Essential Elvis Vol. 2Double LP set cut at 45 RPM and pressed on 200-gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings!
Mastered at Sterling Sound
The discovery of these 2-track masters comprising Stereo '57 - The Essential Elvis Volume 2, is nothing short of a miracle, and this 200-gram pressing cut at 45 RPM from Quality Record Pressings sounds so astonishing, your jaw will hit the floor!
From the moment Elvis began working with a new song, sound engineer Thorne Norgar had the 15 ips mono tape machine rolling simultaneously with a 2-track protection copy. The machines weren't switched to pause until Elvis was satisfied with the take.
A couple of years before the advent of the stereo LP in mid-1958, major record companies were experimenting with stereophonic recordings, often refered to then as binaural. Studios were using the new Ampex 2-track tape recorders for other purposes, such as for recording session back-ups. But few Elvis fans know how close history came to permanently losing these precious audio glimpses of a young Elvis engrossed in the creative process.
Founded in 1933, Radio Recorders of Los Angeles was the preeminent recording studio of its day, and its director of recording, long-time engineer Thorne Nogar, engineered all of the Elvis sessions from 1955 to 1961. Some of popular music's greatest hits: Jailhouse Rock, All Shook Up, Loving You, and Teddy Bear, are just a few of the blockbusters that Nogar oversaw Elvis record at the studios, located at 7000 Santa Monica Blvd.
Elvis would be right in the center of everything, at every recording session, Nogar would later recall. Like with the Jordanaires when he sang, we would set it up with a unidirectional mike, so he would be standing right in front of them, facing them, and they would have their own directional microphone and they would be singing to one another.
The 2-tracks from which this record was pressed could not have sounded better, and there was no one more careful, more experienced and technically skilled to record these historic sessions than Nogar, says Acoustic Sounds' founder and CEO Chad Kassem.
Yet one day years later when Thorne was cleaning out his tapes closet, remarkably, he set these 2-track backup tapes aside, intending to dispose of them. Noted producer Bones Howe had worked for Nogar as a tape operator at Radio Recorders, and thanks to him the tapes were saved from a final resting place in the trash can. Bones took the tapes home with him. He'd put them safely away in a bank vault.
These 2-tracks have erase clearly written on the master log sheets. They're from a January 1957 session at which Presley produced material for two EPs and the film Loving You soundtrack. They're the only known ones surviving from the pre-stereo era.
RCA's Essential Elvis series was a vehicle for the release of Presley's alternate takes. On this double LP set, listeners hear Presley at work, refining band arrangements and working through the nuances of his vocal performance. The LP reveals the Jordanaires voices' sparkling with a natural lifelike sound that's both sonically rich and detailed.
The Jordanaires, a vocal quartet originally formed as a gospel group in 1948, gained fame largely for being Elvis' background singers, both in live appearances and recordings, from 1956 to 1972. If discovering these rare, almost lost recorded treasures weren't enough, the sound reproduction puts this release over the top! When the Jordanaires sing Peace in the Valley, you'll swear you're hearing a melody sent from heaven. An audiophile's prayer come true!
There are a number of first and second takes, during which Presley and his backing musicians make tentative passes at the material. As the record progresses, arrangements take shape and Presley, growing more confident that a keeper take is imminent, sings with more enthusiasm. Throughout, Presley is heard directing the proceedings and demonstrating a lot of aw shucks charm in the process, goofing with band members and laughing through his and others', flubs.
Like other reissues pressed by QRP, this magnificent 200-gram LP is notable for its absolutely silent background. The vocal harmonies are tingle-inducing, life-sized and utterly natural.
For serious Elvis fans and anyone else interested in the creative process, Volume 2 meets the first definition of essential as well as the second: it's indispensable stuff.

IVLETTER CONCERNING THE RECORD 'IV' AND A POST SCRIPT TO FANS
A lot can happen in twelve years. It is beyond probable (if not brutally unavoidable) that such a period of time could render a man nearly unrecognizable to his older self. I would not categorize the young man who made three records under the pen name 'Darling' (incidentally, me) as unrecognizable, but I can say perhaps that we are vaguely disassociated. Those 3 albums, written between 1999 and 2005 and recorded anywhere except a recording studio (the bulk being tracked in my bedroom and parents' garage) follow the exceedingly lonesome course of a kid barely out of high school through a shaky introduction to manhood. They were recorded alone (with cheap microphones) composed alone (with expensive sentimentality), defined by loving befuddlement, and darkened by an all-consuming breakup. I look at them now with an appreciation for where I was, with no small measure of gratitude that I am no longer there. What has not changed however, is that there are still songs that come along which make sense in my mind as fitting only on a 'Darling' record. Truthfully, in the decade-plus that has passed since I last released a solo piece, there have been many songs of this nature. Consequently I have written, designed, edited, and put this record out many times in my mind. Inevitably, however, life would change and the conceptual direction would change with it. It is changing now as I write this. But after twelve birthdays, twelve New Year's Eve's, and twelve winters, I have a portrait I am compelled to commit to the canon of self-portraits.
I am no longer the kid with all that worry, that blaring hurt and rum-fueled uncertainty. I am somewhere else now. But I still sit in my bedroom, quietly following songs where they take me, using them to process what is happening in my life. I have often declared to myself, that I would not leave the 'Darling' moniker forever tied to what I now regard as a time of young (albeit sincere) melancholy. And while this fourth installment is by no means an offering of pure and bright optimism, it is a statement less heavy with heartache, and hopefully a bit more even-keeled in its manner - whatever the emotional narrative. More importantly, it is a honest glimpse into my story alone and a faithful rendition of what I believe to be a notable chapter.
For those interested in the Darling project:
To say that activity of one form or another relating to my solo work is infrequent would be a bit of an understatement. In truth, as time goes, I am thankfully occupied primarily by the joys of my family and the pleasure of making music with my brother and some of my dearest friends. When, however, there are endeavors of the Darling variety on the horizon, I would be honored to let anyone interested know about it. If you count yourself among this set, please feel free to share your email address below. I can say, as someone who religiously declines giving my email out when a cashier asks for it, and as someone who somehow spends more time unsubscribing from email lists than answering emails, I will ONLY pass the word along when there is a word to pass meaning something significant like an upcoming album or confirmed performance(s). Once again, I realize that giving any part of your contact information out is a significant action, and I believe it should be seen as such. In other words, I won't be arranging for emails to go out about anything but relevant 'Darling' news. As always, thank you for your time and care.

Asunder, Sweet And Other Distress"If Godspeed around the turn of the millennium felt like a band of the moment, now, in a time of rapid cultural turnover and bite-sized music consumption, they feel out of step in a very necessary way." - PITCHFORK
"This Montreal collective still sound like nothing else The Godspeed ethos of wordlessly eliciting universal truths remains as devastatingly effective as ever." - THE GUARDIAN
Godspeed You! Black Emperor (GYBE) returns with its first single LP-length release
since the group's earliest days in 1997-99. 'Asunder, Sweet And Other Distress'
clocks in at a succinct 40 minutes and is arguably the most focused and bestsounding
recording of the band's career. Working with sound engineer Greg
Norman (Electrical Audio) at studios in North Carolina and MontrÉal, GYBE slowly
and steadily put the new album together through late 2013 and 2014, emerging with
a mighty slab of superlative sonics, shot through with all the band's inimitable
signposts and touchstones: huge unison riffage, savage noise/drone, oscillating
overtones, guitar vs. string counterpoint, inexorable crescendos and scorchedearth
Following Godspeed's return from a long hiatus at the end of 2010 to begin playing
live shows again, and with the hugely acclaimed 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!
release in 2012 marking their first new release in a decade, the group continued to
perform regularly on their own headlining tours (and as headliners at many leading
festivals), often including a new multi-movement piece in concert over the past
couple of years. Known to fans and through live show recordings by the sobriquet
"Behemoth", GYBE has gradually distilled this new work down to a fastidious and
uncompromising essence in the studio, with the swing-time swagger of the opening
unison riff in "Peasantry or 'Light! Inside of Light!'" giving way to increasing
microtonal divergences and an exhilarating immersion in the harmonic power of
massed amplified instruments, before collapsing into some of the most visceral and
unalloyed noise/drone the band has yet committed to tape on "Lambs' Breath" and
"Asunder, Sweet". The album closes with "Piss Crowns Are Trebled", a 14-minute
piece of vintage Godspeed, where ascending and descending guitar and violin
melodies intertwine over gut-rattling distorted bass in 3/4 time, segueing into a
pummeling four-on-the-floor series of sparkling, soaring crescendos.
'Asunder, Sweet And Other Distress' finds Godspeed in top form; a sterling
celebration of the band's awesome dialectic, where composition, emotion and
'note-choice' is inextricable from an exacting focus on tone, timbre, resonance and
the sheer materiality of sound. The album is available on 180 gram vinyl in a
gatefold jacket with printed inner dust sleeve and insert poster. Thanks for listening.1. Peasantry or 'Light! Inside of Light!'

Highway QueenNikki Lane's remarkably dazzling third album,
Highway Queen, sees the
young Nashville rebel emerge as one of country and
rock's most gifted songwriters. Produced by Lane
and fellow singer-songwriter Jonathan Tyler, and
recorded in Denton, Texas and Nashville, Tennessee,
Highway Queen is an emotional tour-de-force.
Blending potent lyrics, unbridled blues guitars and
vintage Sixties country-pop swagger, Lane's new music
will resonate as easily with Black Keys and Lana
Del Rey fans as those of Neil Young and Tom Petty.
Highway Queen starts with the whiskey-soaked
restlessness of "700,000 Rednecks," a rowdy call to
action, and ends on the profoundly raw "Forever
Lasts Forever," where Lane belts freely, mourning
a failed marriage - the "lighter shade of skin" left
behind from her wedding ring. Lane's journey to
heartbreak takes exquisite turns. "Companion" is
pure Everly Brothers' dreaminess ("I would spend a
lifetime/ Playing catch you if I can"). Elsewhere, she
goes on a Vegas bender on the rollicking "Jackpot,"
fights last-call blues ("Foolish Heart") and tosses
off brazen one-liners at a backroom piano ("Big
Lane, a Greenville, South Carolina native, is a unique

artist path. Her backwoods roots are undercut by
her chosen career as a fashion entrepreneur (she's
the owner of vintage clothing boutique High Class

in - Los Angeles, New York and Nashville. So it's no
surprise that her music seamlessly crosses musical
genres with lyrics steeped in the doomed perseverance
only a true dark horse romantic knows.
Lane's rapid rise in music is thanks to the fervent critical
acclaim of her debut record Walk of Shame

The Last Temptation
First Time 180 Gram Audiophile Blue Vinyl & Gatefold Cover
Mastered Impeccably By Joe Reagoso (Alice Cooper/Deep Purple)
Featuring Hits: Lost In America, Sideshow & It's Me
1994 was a banner year for superstar Alice Cooper with his conceptual hit album "The Last Temptation." A solid nod to his previous 1975 classic "Welcome To My Nightmare" "Temptation" became a fixture on hard rock and heavy metal scene thanks to the hit single "Lost In America." As would be expected, this fine new album would go on to be one of his best received with his fans and the critics alike.
Featuring ten great new rockers with help from friends like Chris Cornell on "Stolen Prayer" and "Unholy War", plus the great team of Tommy Shaw (Styx/Damn Yankees) and Jack Blades (Night Ranger/Damn Yankees) on the power ballad smash "It's Me", "The Last Temptation" album truly was a masterwork from the hard rock legend Alice Cooper.
At the time, CD's were the format of choice and there was never a North American vinyl release of the album. Even overseas, it was very rare, and is one of the most expensive Alice Cooper collectables if you could even find one that is until now!!

Features His All Time Classic Masterpiece Taxi
Heads & Tails was the debut smash Lp from the late singer/songwriter and human rights activist Harry Chapin. Shortly after its release in 1972, and thanks in part to Johnny Carson for asking the artist to come back a second night after he blew the audience away with his storytelling classic hit Taxi, Harry Chapin was on soon on his way to the top rungs of the charts.
Radio programmers both rock and pop also took the cue and began to play the 7 minute single in tandem, as Taxi would soon become one of the biggest success stories of the time.
The album was filled with 8 more Chapin classics like his stellar Greyhound, Could You Keep Your Light On Please and the beautiful harmony filled Any Old Kind Of Day. With his amazing stories and masterful musicianship, Harry Chapin would go on beyond the musical landscape and become one of the leading human rights activists of his time with his food outreach programs, which are still in the works to this day (The Harry Chapin Foundation)
