RevelatorRevelator is a dramatic leap forward for both Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks in every respect, from the songwriting and the production to Tedeschi's vocals and Trucks' guitar playing. Their new 11-piece band is an aggregation of talented musicians related by experience, and blood, and clearly adds to the notion of Revelator as a true group album.
Tedeschi and Trucks co-wrote the album's 11 tracks with an impressive list of songwriters including: Jeff Trott, John Leventhal, David Ryan Harris and Sonya Kitchell, Gary Louris (The Jayhawks), Oliver Wood (Wood Brothers), Doyle Bramhall II, Erick Krasno (Soulive), Mike Mattison, Kofi Burbridge and Oteil Burbridge.
In addition to Tedeschi and Trucks, Revelator features bassist Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers) and keyboardist/flutist Kofi Burbridge (The Derek Trucks Band), drummers J.J. Johnson and Tyler Greenwell, trumpeter Maurice Brown, tenor saxophonist Kebbi Williams, trombonist Saunders Sermons and harmony singers Mark Rivers and Mike Mattision.1. Come See About Me

Made Up MindMADE UP MIND is the follow-up to Tedeschi Trucks Band's 2011 Grammy®-winning debut, Revelator, and the live collection, Everybody's Talkin'. Through unparalleled musicianship and a timeless, authentic sound, Made Up Mind proves that TTB is fast becoming a band for the ages.
TTB is known for their extraordinary family of musicians, and Made Up Mind continues that tradition as most tracks were penned by husband and wife Tedeschi and Trucks along with various friends and co-writers - Doyle Bramhall II, Eric Krasno, Gary Louris, John Leventhal - all of whom also contributed to TTB's debut Revelator. The album was also co-produced by Jim Scott (Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wilco) and Trucks, and engineered by Bobby Tis - the same team that developed the last two TTB albums.
Made Up Mind features "Part of Me," a song driven by a classic southern soul groove straight out of Muscle Shoals. The raucous soul-rocker title track "Made Up Mind" demonstrates the full power of the band from the albums first notes. Throughout the course of the album it becomes increasingly apparent that Susan Tedeschi has evolved into one of the most dauntingly commanding vocalists in contemporary music, her serious lung power exploding on standout tracks such as the Über-funky "Misunderstood" and just as convincingly digging into the core of poignant, tender ballads like "It's So Heavy" and "Calling Out to You."
Derek Trucks has indisputably matured into one of the finest guitarists of all time, tearing up barnbusters with his masterful slide and lead lines while showcasing his easier, more subtle touch on the bluesy "Do I Look Worried". Although Tedeschi Trucks Band bears the names of its co-leaders, each member of this 11-piece juggernaut contributes equally, there are no weak links in this true group achievement.1. Made Up Mind

Let Me Get ByLet Me Get By features ten new, original songs that together stand as a testament to the hard work, independent spirit, and full-on commitment of the entire Tedeschi Trucks Band. The album's artwork-a Mongolian golden eagle caught a moment after flying from its handler's glove-and even the album title itself reflect the sense of total dedication that serves as the driving force behind TTB.
Some songs you may have heard on stage in 2015, and some others that were deliberately held back for this occasion. Susan's vocals and Derek's guitar soar, tumble and glide through each song, as powerful as ever, even in the album's most understated moments. --tedeschitrucksband1. Anyhow

Already FreeThe Derek Trucks Band have been issuing records (live and studio) that are long on fire, improvisation, and inspiration. Trucks' own skillful leadership has seamlessly melded Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Eastern Indian modal music in a brew that is uniquely his own.
Already Free (2009), the ninth studio album by The Derek Trucks Band, is an exception to the rule. Trucks himself stated that the album has a different feeling compared to their other works because in the past, he always felt pressure to make a guitar album. The difference, he maintains, is that the band has had more time to mature, and the album's sound is more balanced between the different contributions of its members, who developed its overall effect as they arranged the songs that were recorded for this album.
The album has received very positive reviews, and debuted at #19 on the Billboard Top 200 reached #1 on the Blues chart, #1 on the Internet chart, and #4 on the Rock chart. This marks the band's highest debut on the Billboard Top 200 chart to date. The album won the 2010 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album, marking the band's first Grammy award.
The first single Down in the Flood features guest musicians include Doyle Bramhall II, Susan Tedeschi and Eric Krasno (of Soulive). The song Back Where I Started was co-written by Trucks with fellow Allman Brothers Band guitarist Warren Haynes.LP1

Live In San Diego (with Special Guest JJ Cale)Eric Clapton's Live in San Diego With Special Guest JJ Cale is a live album from the 2007 tour featuring JJ Cale, Doyle Bramhall II, Robert Cray, Derek Trucks and more. Almost 2 hours of music including previously unreleased versions of Layla, Tell The Truth, Cocaine and Crossroads.
Recorded at Clapton's March 15, 2007 performance at the iPayOne Center in San Diego, CA, this concert was part of a world tour that was much loved by Clapton fans and featured a stellar band that included guitarists Derek Trucks (now of the Tedeschi Trucks band) and Doyle Bramhall II. The two-hour San Diego concert was a highlight of the tour as it featured JJ Cale as a special guest on five tracks (including "After Midnight" and "Cocaine"), as well as Robert Cray on the final song of the record, "Crossroads."
After successfully covering several JJ Cale songs over his career, Clapton finally collaborated with Cale in 2006 on the original album Road to Escondido. At the time, Clapton said "This is the realization of what may have been my last ambition, to work with the man whose music has inspired me for as long as I can remember." So it is fitting that one year later, Cale joined Clapton on stage for this special concert where they performed five songs together - underlining the mutual respect the two musicians had for each other.
The concert features a superb set list from across Eric's career. Notably, it includes songs from Eric's classic Derek and the Dominos album Layla, with Derek Trucks playing many of Duane Allman's original guitar parts.
Clapton's career, spanning more than 50 years, has resulted in 18 Grammy Awards and the distinct honor of being the only triple inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

AccumulatorAs Greyhounds, guitarist Andrew Trube and keyboardist Anthony Farrell have been making music and touring for 15 years, refining and developing a sound Trube calls "Hall and Oates meet ZZ Top. Anthony brings that LA thing and I bring the East Texas thing." Ardent Music, the independent record label based out of legendary Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee, expects to build on the fanbase the band has developed both on the road and as a staple of the Austin music scene. Label director Reed Turchi says,"We committed to three albums not only because we believe in these guys, not only because they're great musicians and songwriters, but because they've been incredibly prolific." "We're always writing," Trube says. "We've got songs for eight albums." The first 'hounds out of the gate will be Accumulator. "This is the re-introduction that never happened," Trube says. The album will combine the cream-of-the-crop of tunes the band's devoted followers pass along to the uninitiated with new, previously-unreleased tracks. An accumulation of the band's past and present, with a nod to ZZ Top's Eliminator, one of the most famous and commercially successful albums ever recorded at Ardent, Accumulator is also the first part of a sort of three-part wager well-known at the track. "The music business is a gamble," Anthony Farrell says. "You got to keep playing to win. There have been lots of times we could have said 'This is too hard,' or 'There's no retirement plan. But basically you have to play your hand. And now Ardent has bet on us, and we've bet on them."The first album will give new listeners "a little taste of the evolution of the band," according to Farrell, and will be accompanied by a re-vamped stage show featuring more than just a new set list. The band's respect for the past, and their roots in country, blues, rock and soul, will meet the present in the second Greyhounds album released by Ardent, which is set to feature all new songs, with more of an electronic aspect. Farrell explains, "You ingest all your experiences, and you try to make sense of them through your art. This second album will be a reflection of where we were at when we wrote those songs." For the third record, the band anticipates more of a live sound. The duo say they're excited to be recording in Memphis, with its rich musical heritage, and particularly at Ardent Studios, which combines that heritage with state-of-the-art equipment. When they aren't touring and recording as Greyhounds, Trube and Farrell keep busy as members of JJ Grey and Mofro, playing 200 dates a year, and writing songs for a variety of other musicians, including Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks.1. Clear Language (Pre-Order)When Rob Lowe and Michael Muller founded Balmorhea in 2006, their goals and expectations were modest, as they created music to share with friends and family, and slowly developed a following in their hometown of Austin and beyond. They Couldn't have anticipated that their music would take them on multiple tours of the US and Europe, and even to Asia. Nor did they expect the praise their work would receive from such well-respected publications as Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, and The Atlantic among myriad others, and that their work would become quietly ubiquitous, doing the emotional heavy-lifting for national TV commercials, films, radio and cable programs, and countless documentaries.
Lowe and Muller had developed a wordless language with a seemingly limitless potential to stir the listener's soul. Over the course of 5 full-length albums and a 7EP, the duo pushed their work to its outer bounds, concluding the first chapter of their career with their maximalist, genre-leaping full-length Stranger (2012). Now Five years later they return with their most fully realized album to-date, Clear Language, an album which almost never happened.
Almost a decade on the road, near-constant musical output, and shifting creative priorities caused Lowe and Muller, to soberly assess the band's future. What, in the form of Balmorhea, was there left to say? And did they have the energy to say it? To answer that question the duo decamped to their east Austin studio, where they worked simply and with restraint, letting intuition guide them as they molded 30-plus raw ideas into the 10 elegant, spacious gestures that comprise Clear Language.
Co-produced and engineered by David Boyle in Austin's Church House Studios,Clear Language finds the duo returning to the simplicity of their roots. They eschewed complexity for complexity's sake, allowing a watery, sand-hued mood to settle over their use of analog synthesizers, piano, vibraphone, electric and bass guitar, violin, viola, field recordings, and, for the first time in the band's history, trumpet, performed by Tedeschi Trucks' Ephraim Owens. A relaxed, clear-eyed sense of reflection flows gracefully through the album as these two old friends transmit unfettered meaning through simple sonic gestures that resonate with the cosmos as much as they echo the pulse of a human heart. In a culture dominated by the loudest, ostentatious voices, Lowe and Muller continue to prove the power and importance of restraint and minimalism.1. Clear Language
