    Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret

Originally released in 1981 and seamlessly blending passion, sleaze and synths, this was the stunning debut album by the influential duo Soft Cell. The album's
critical and commercial success was helped by the worldwide success of its lead single single 'Tainted Love', a cover version of a soul song by Gloria
Jones, which topped charts worldwide. The album produced two more wonderful top five singles in the UK in the shape of 'Bedsitter' and 'Say Hello,
Wave Goodbye'. Meanwhile the infamous 'Sex Dwarf' caused something of a
    national furore. Bravo, Soft Cell!

    Feel It Break

On Feel It Break, co-founder and lead singer Katie Stelmanis, drummer Maya Postepski and bassist Dorian Wolf have crafted a stark, danceable masterpiece suitable for both ritual incantations and clubs; an album hearkening back to the seedier side of New Wave but still deeply rooted in Stelmanis's classical and operatic upbringing- think the dirty alleys and after-hours clubs dreamed up by Japan and Soft Cell.

Upstairs At Eric's (Awaiting Repress) (On Sale)

An 80s Landmark: Ex-Depeche Mode Member Vince Clarke and Vocalist Alison Moyet Create Synthpop Classic

Smoky Blues Purring, Cool Jazz Vibes, Disco-Tinged Beats, and Dancefloor Minimalism Add Up to Electropop Genius

All the Grooves Hit the Low-Frequency Targets: LP Mastered on Mobile Fidelitys World-Renowned Mastering System and Pressed at RTI

Includes Hits Don't Go, Situation, and Only You

The 1980s will forever be remembered for electropop sensations, yet few, if any, are quite as sensational as Yazs Upstairs at Erics. A standard-setting mÉlange of smoky blues singing, jazzy arrangements, disco-tinged beats, and dancefloor vibes, the smash debut fits equally as well at a late-night club as it does in a living room, where the records complexity and exoticism takes listeners hostage. No wonder the 1982 landmark remains one of the decades most essential albums.

Mastered on Mobile Fidelitys world-renowned mastering system and pressed at RTI, this numbered limited edition Silver Label LP breathes with a decongested openness, textural richness, and tonal palette never before experienced on previous analog or digital editions. Alison Moyets inimitable vocals, such a huge part of the records appeal, are dramatically enhanced, her sensual timbre, bittersweet crooning, and knockout range now encompassing the full frequency spectrum and projecting outward in a way that traverses the flatness of the original pressings.

Indeed, her bluesy deliveries are at once elegant and exuberant, and give collaborative partner Vince Clarke free range to construct beat architectures that encompass freewheeling disco, house music, uptempo dance, and chilled-out pop. The former Depeche Mode member also layers on elegant keyboard melodies, establishing contagious hooks and electronic-laced landscapes that preceded the techno explosion and do so with a cooler elegance. Tape loops, random field-noise dialogues, and synth-stroked bass notes add to whats nothing less than a perfect collusion of moody paranoia and soulful warmth.

While a cousin to synth-pop LPs by the likes of the Eurythmics, Soft Cell, OMD, and Depeche Mode, Yazs Upstairs at Erics is singular for its chemistry between Moyet and Clarke and an insouciant batch of songs high on emotion, style, and substance.

    Allegory & Self

Remastered Reissue Of The Classic Hyperdelic Record

Legendary Conceptual Audiovisual Group Formed By Throbbing Gristle Co-Founder Genesis P-Orridge & Alternative TV's Alex Fergusson

Vinyl Has Been Out Of Print Since 1988

Guest Appearances By Dave Ball (Soft Cell), Rose Mcdowall (Strawberry Switchblade), Hilmar Orn Hilmarsson & Monte Cazazza

Includes Psychic TV's Biggest Hit Ever, "Godstar"

Beginning in 1982, the conceptual audiovisual troupe labeled Psychic TV set outon a multimedia journey filled with subversion, liberation, and rebellion. Materialized between Throbbing Gristle co-founder Genesis P-Orridge and AlternativeTV songwriter Alex Fergusson, Psychic TV started pulling in familiar faces with the likes of Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson, Paula P-Orridge, Jhonn Balance,David Tibet, John Gosling, and countless others. While the members' previous works took root in the counterculture zeitgeist of late '70s UK punk and conceptual art, it was no longer a question of how to rebel against authority, but rather how to carefully subvert it through collective infiltration. Parallel to Psychic TV,its members formed the anti-cult faction The Temple of Psychick Youth, further propagating the Psychic TV message and vision.

While the ensuing years saw Psychic TV's major label infection and record breaking live album release binge, it wasn't until 1988 that the band started to ready itself for a chart-friendly pop endeavor in the form of Allegory and Self. This would be the band's most notable and successful endeavor, but tragically, it would be the final songwriting collaboration between P-Orridge and Fergusson .Allegory and Self was a perfect storm of catchy pop melody along with subversive counter-culture reference and occult leanings, packaged in a perfect bundle of underground hits.

The record's opening track "Godstar," a song gushing obsessive praise upon the fallen Rolling Stones member Brian Jones, would give the album its most notable identity. "Godstar's" melodic hooks and haunting, Phil Spector-era lyrical chant gives into to all the hallmarks of a chart-topping hit. "Just Like Arcadia"and "Being Lost" follows in similar footsteps, charging along with a somewhat whimsical Beach Boys-esque pop quality. The album also contained a sneak-peak into what direction Psychic TV was heading into going forward, apparent in the acid house number "She Was Surprised." Tracks like "Starlit Mire" and "Thee Dweller" reflect more of what the Psychic TV live experience was akin to in the '80s, aggressive and hypnotic. Altogether, Allegory and Self would stand alone as the band's signature apex from the original '80s lineup.

Even the highest quality materials ultimately succumb to the loving wear and tear of everyday use. As such, Audeze offers hand-crafted leather and non-leather earpad replacements for our LCD line of planar magnetic headphones.

    Lambskin Leather

We worked with our leather supplier for three years to find the perfect material for our headphone earpads. We finally found a luxurious, soft and supple black lambskin leather, and a slightly more expensive, lightly dyed and even more supple brown lambskin leather that were the perfect fit for our headphones. Both leathers are imported from a remote region in Italy.

    Microsuede (Leather Free)

A number of you have told us you'd like an alternative to our leather products and we've responded by offering a leather-free microsuede (faux suede) option. The same care and diligence was applied to finding the perfect non-leather material fit for our headphones.

    Cushioning

To ensure your headphones are comfortable even during long listening sessions we tried dozens of earpad foam material before choosing an open-cell polyurethane.

Our earpads aren't just comfortable and luxurious, but they also isolate against noise with a tight seal that improves sound quality and helps supply our famous bass.

    Sloped Earpads

Our earpads direct the planar magnetic drivers toward your ears for better imaging and an improved fit. Audeze tested dozens of earpad angles using our Neumann Head, a precision device used to measure headphone performance on a "dummy head," before finding the ideal slope for great soundstaging and accurate frequency response.

    Inspected by Hand

Our material experts carefully inspect each piece by hand so they can examine each and every detail. This ensures every earpad is free from scratches, blemishes, uneven stitches, dots, or deformation common in lesser earpads.

    Easy to Install

You can remove your old earpads and install new ones in under five minutes. All you need is a flathead screwdriver and a sharp blade knife. Detailed instructions arrive with every pair of earpads, or you can view the instructions online.

North America has two Red Rivers, North and South. Red River South has been home to many peoples; it once was the border between the US and colonial Spain, and today forms part of the border between the rival states of Texas and Oklahoma.

Red River North forms in a confluence of rivers in North Dakota and Minnesota, but its history is Canada's. The Red River North's early settlers were the MÉtis, whose ancestry was French and aboriginal Canadian. The MÉtis in 1869 began an uprising known as the Red River Rebellion, which challenged the Canadian government, eventually leading to the formation of the province of Manitoba.

SOLID PERFECT-SURFACE COPPER (PSC) CONDUCTORS: Perfect-Surface Copper has an astonishingly smooth and pure surface. Proprietary metal-processing technology protects the wire's surface at every stage of drawing and fabrication. When high-purity low-oxide copper is kept as soft, pure and smooth as possible, it becomes a wonderfully low-distortion conductor. For over 30 years AudioQuest has pioneered the use of superior metals; yet even we were surprised by this huge leap in performance. PSC clearly outperforms previous AQ metals that cost over ten times as much. Electrical and magnetic interaction between strands in a conventional cable is the greatest source of distortion, often causing a somewhat dirty, harsh sound. Solid conductors are fundamental toward achieving Red River's very clean sound.

NITROGEN-INJECTED HARD-CELL FOAM INSULATION: Nitrogen-Injected Hard-Cell Foam insulation is used exclusively in most of AudioQuest's video and digital audio cables. Similar to Foamed-PE, it is nitrogen-injected to create air pockets. 'Hard' foam is used because the stiffness of the material allows the conductors in the cable to maintain the same relationship with each other along the full length of the cable, thus ensuring that the characteristic impedance of the cable is consistent.

METAL-LAYER NOISE-DISSIPATION SYSTEM (NDS): 100% shield coverage is easy. Preventing captured RF Interference from modulating the equipment's ground reference requires AQ's Noise-Dissipation System. Noise-Dissipation System prevents a significant amount of RFI from reaching the equipment's ground plane.

TRIPLE-BALANCED GEOMETRY: The three conductors in "Triple-Balanced" Mackenzie cables ensure that whether prepared with RCA or XLR plugs, the positive and negative signals have equally low-distortion conducting paths. The 100% coverage shield is never used as an inferior conductor.

COLD-WELDED, GOLD-PLATED TERMINATIONS: This plug design allows for a connection devoid of solder, which is a common source of distortion. Because the ground shells are stamped instead of machined, the metal can be chosen for low distortion instead of machinability.

Balmorhea flashes brilliance only to highlight a
slow-burning constancy that's at the core of one
of the year's early slow wonders.
    - PITCHFORK

For the past eight years the duo of Rob Lowe and Michael Muller have nurtured and refined
their creative partnership as the core members of the band Balmorhea. Though their first
album on Western Vinyl Rivers Arms (2008) garnered some remarkable press, their
self-titled debut, recorded in 2006 and released in 2007 best captures the duo's unique
magic as it first blossomed. With no label, distributor, manager, publicist, or booking agent
the duo quietly self-released their first recordings and started playing live shows. Now,
seven years later Western Vinyl is honored to have the opportunity reissue the band's
self-titled album, and make it available on vinyl for the first time ever.

In preparation for this special reissue, the audio was lovingly remastered, drawing out
even more of the nuances magnifying the sounds of Muller and Lowe's fingers on the
instruments, and teasing out the textures that set these recordings apart from the rest of
their catalog. Simple and sincere, these songs and ambient sounds the duo captured in
these recordings are strangely inviting. Throughout the album the distant sounds of Texas
grackles, the warm summer rain, the steady rhythm of crickets chirping, and creaking
wooden stools, all seeping in to cradle the notes in a restrained din of primordial wonder.

It's hard to imagine Western Vinyl without Balmorhea. After our fateful meeting in 2007,
we forged a deep and lasting relationship we're all grateful for. We met at an Austin performance on the eve of their first US tour in support of their recently self-released debut
album. Their show that night was one of the most powerful performances I'd ever seen,
and as I looked around the room, it was apparent that I wasn't alone. With the help of a
cellist the group briefly transformed the dingy lounge into a vibrant pulsing cell. I had
experienced deeply moving shows before, but the ecstatic emotions they conjured were
new to me. Calling it electrifying, might sound clichÉ, but as the hair on my arms and legs
stood at attention, my eyes squinted a bit with concentration, and my head cocked to the
right, the electricity that passed over me felt very real. Over the next few years I had the
pleasure of experiencing dozens of Balmorhea shows, each with a slightly different story
to tell. - Brian Sampson, Western Vinyl

Mackenzie's many tributaries cover portions of three provinces-British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan-and two territories, Yukon and the Northwest Territories.
