Nemesis DivinaLimited First Edition 20th Anniversary Reissue
Special Gatefold Packaging With A2 Poster
Includes Never Before Seen Photos And Artwork From 1996
There are, at most, a handful of albums and a handful of songs that really define modernday black metal. Nemesis Divina is definitely one of those records, and 'Mother North' is definitely one of those songs," Satyr boldly (and rightfully) claims. When Satyricon released their third album in 1996, their status as one of the most significant and creatively vital bands in Norwegian black metal was already beyond dispute, but Nemesis Divina was no ordinary record or just another step along the road to infamy.
From its uniquely vibrant and impactful artwork, which broke every supposed rule in the black metal handbook with its vivid colours and refined aesthetic core, to the supremely confident and idiosyncratic songs and individual performances that heralded a new found sophistication and a freshly incisive vision, Nemesis Divina almost single-handedly took black metal from its voluntarily shadowy and obscure origins into the glaring spotlight of the international metal scene. It showcased a band that finally had the skill and the musical intuition to back up the undeniable potency of their artistic vision. Sonically devastating and compositionally meticulous, songs like 'Mother North' and 'The Dawn Of A New Age' redefined what black metal was capable of, while proudly retaining the genre's ageless essence and aesthetic values.
To herald the 20th anniversary of this most illustrious piece of dark art, Nemesis Divina will be re-released in 2016 via Napalm Records, newly remastered by Satyr himself, and boasts upgraded and revamped packaging, worthy of an album that has had a huge and enduring impact on both the black metal scene and underground heavy music in general. Satyricon will then embark on a series of exclusive one-off shows, performing the record in full for the first and only time. "It's not what we do and it won't happen again!" avows frontman and creative mastermind Satyr. "This band, as you know, is definitely not retrospective. But we started playing live in 1996. Our most groundbreaking milestone record came out in 1996. It's the only one that we still play several songs from in our set to this day so if we're ever going to do a reissue, do anniversary shows, and make it a big deal, it's gonna be ‚Nemesis Divina', and it has to be now."1. 19 years after its original release the classic Norwegian Black Metal album is presented again. With no further introduction needed, the early Norwegian black metal band Gorgoroth had been crushing everything in its path ever since their birth in 1992 and with this, their 4th studio album, things were no different. Introducing Gaahl on vocals on the opening track, and with guest appearances of Frost (Satyricon), Daimonion (Enslaved), Ares (Aeternus) in addition to the reaping vocal performance by legendary singer Pest, all under the supervising leadership of Infernus, the message was clear: total Norwegian black metal destruction!

SatyriconThe eighth studio album by Norwegian black band SATYRICON is released via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.
We are back. Sorry it took so long, but we needed the time to be able pull off a record like this," states band frontman Sigurd "Satyr" Wongraven. "Comparing this one to previous records is time wasted, it is SATYRICON; constantly on the move. Naming this record Satyricon was the most obvious thing in the world. We have never done a record which captures the spirit of this band in such a way. Ever. It will demand a lot from you as a listener, but I know you will love it. It will grow on you and that is why it will stay with you forever. We won't tour as much in the future as we used to, and that will just make every tour more special. This album is for you and ourselves. It is our moment!"

Nattestid (Out of Stock)In 1993, taake mastermind hoest formed the band under the name thule, releasing two demos; Der Vinterstormene Raste in 1993 and 1994's Omfavnet Av Svarte Vinger. Shortly afterwards, thule became taake (meaning 'Fog' in English), a name which better reflected the band's music and the area where hoest was from; the mountains of Bergen, Norway.
the first full-length album, Nattestid..., was originally released in 1999. the album was
written entirely by hoest, who was joined by a session musician, tundra, to perform
bass and drums. It was recorded 1997/98 at the legendary grieghallen Studios (Immortal, Mayhem, gorgoroth) with Pytten.
Nattestid was a stellar introduction to taake's unusual brand of cold and yet surprisingly melodic, at times complex composition. The album featured both grim and clean vocals alongside icy riffs and atmospherics creating a truly dark experience.
The lyrics were written and sung in old Norwegian and with an execution compared to the likes of earlier Darkthrone, Immortal or Satyricon, Nattestid was quickly acclaimed as a classic of Norwegian Black Metal. This edition is presented on 180 gram vinyl with evocative alternate cover art.1. Nattestid Ser Porten Vid I

WW (Out of Stock)Sixth Album Of Ferocious Black Metal From This Cult Norwegian Act
Norwegian band Gehenna was formed in early 1993, with the recording of their cult 'Black Seared Heart' demo taking place later that same year, followed shortly by the release of the debut 7" 'Ancestors of the Darkly Sky'. Gehenna became known for their melodic and grim black metal, with symphonic elements adding greatly to the atmosphere of the music, particularly on early releases. The band's style progressed over the years, taking on more death and thrash metal elements at times before returning to black metal with this release & their long-awaited upcoming album.
'WW' was Gehenna's sixth album, was originally released in 2005 and was notable for the appearance of Frost from Satyricon on drums. The album saw a
stripped-down approach to writing compared to some of their previous works, with these primitive black metal tracks exuding a dark, cold, yet brutal atmosphere, written by co-founding member Sanrabb, with the lyrics based around themes of war.
'WW' was recorded at Steel Production Studios and Realnoise Studios during 2003 and 2004.1. Grenade Prayer

Til Endes (Out of Stock)After a period of 6 years in the wilderness, Norway's exponents of groove-laden black metal are back with a new album, 'Til Endes'. Undoubtedly the band's strongest work to date, 'Til Endes' explores the dark foreboding corners of the metal spectrum with eerie riffs, grim vocals courtesy of mysterious frontman Gard, and catchy hooks which are so often ignored in the genre.
Expanding upon Khold's staple sound of mid-tempo primitive & heavy black metal, the band's sixth studio release adds an additional aggressive edge to the tracks overall, whilst retaining their use of solely Norwegian lyrics. The album also notably includes a cover of the Sepultura classic, 'Troops of Doom', given the full Khold treatment, and titled 'Dommens Arme'.
'Til Endes' was recorded at Studio Fredman (Amon Amarth, At the Gates, Opeth) in Sweden in June 2014, with the line-up of Gard (vocals/guitar), Sarke (drums), Rinn on guitar & Crowbel on bass.
Khold will be making a special performance at the Brutal Assault festival in August & a new promo video will also soon be revealed.
Khold formed in Oslo in the year 2000, by Gard & Sarke (currently seen in his own, selfnamed act, alongside Darkthrone's Nocturno Culto), as Khold emerged out of the ashes of the cult band Tulus. They have recorded 5 albums to date since their debut 'Masterpiss of Pain' was released on Moonfog Productions, & have successfully toured with bands such as Satyricon & Behemoth in the past.1. Myr
