Run The Jewels 3
Gold Colored Vinyl
Includes Poster & Sticker Sheet
Run the Jewels have finally announced the full details of their highly anticipated new studio album, RTJ3.
The album features Danny Brown, Kamasi Washington, TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe, Trina, Boots, and more. It features the previously released songs "Talk to Me," "Panther Like a Panther (I'm the Shit)," and "2100."
Timothy Saccenti, Run the Jewels' frequent artistic collaborator, made the new album's cover. RTJ shared a statement about how the new album's artwork fits in the trilogy of covers. It depicts the RTJ logo as "a sculpture of the hands cast in metal, chromed, and gold-plated":
For us, the RTJ1 hands were about "taking what's yours"-your world, your life, your attitude. The RTJ2 hands were wrapped in bandages, signifying injury and healing, which for us represented the growth in ideas and tone of that album. For RTJ3 the bandages are off, the chain is gone and the hands have been transformed into gold. For us this represents the idea that there is nothing to take that exists outside of yourself. You are the jewel.1. Down (feat. Joi Gilliam)

Science & Magic: A Soundtrack to the UniverseLil Bub has had her paws in the music world for quite some time now. She's tight with Steve Albini, produced a single for Kelley Deal, worked closely with David Yow, collaborated with Andrew W.K., spearheaded 50 Bands and a Cat (she's the cat), been held by Jonathan Richman, has a song written for her by Kimya Dawson, was rapped about by Aesop Rock, enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with Murder by Death, appeared in The Foo Fighters' HBO Documentary, Sonic Highways, was the July, 2014 cover story for SPIN Magazine, and famously appears on Run the Jewels' highly anticipated Meow the Jewels record made up entirely of cat sounds.
And now she's finally ready to blow minds with the very first full length concept album written by a magical space cat, and it's darn good. This is music made by a magical space cat. The songs on this album are the soundtrack to BUB's universal adventure, and a soundtrack to the universe itself. You'll feel transported by the music's stimulating spirit, and taken to places beyond your imagination's limits, all the while experiencing the sonic aura of BUB's loving and compassionate presence.1. Run The Jewels
Gold Yellow Colored Vinyl
This gold vinyl re-issue of Run the Jewels's 2013 self-titled classic was named Pitchfork's "Best New Music" upon release. Killer Mike's baritone drawl contrasts El-P's hyper flow perfectly, and with support from names like Big Boi, Until the Ribbon Breaks, and Prince Paul, this hip-hop album delivers. Tracks feature Banana Clipper, Job Well Done, and Twin Hype Back.
Metacritic gives this album universal acclaim, and critics agree: it's accessible with its duo taking on crooked politicians, fake rappers and religious hypocrites through aggressive flow and paranoid rhyme, and its fun, affable vibe is no sign of weakness.
For the true collector of album kitsch, this release includes a new iron-on Run the Jewels patch.1. Run the Jewels

T. Bone BluesT-Bone Walker's masterpiece T-Bone Blues on Atlantic Records is often cited as not only one of his finest achievements, but also one of the blues genre's most important crowned jewels. This 1959 classic showcases the late blues master's legendary handling of the electric guitar and his unequalled ability to powerfully sing some of the most revered classics in modern blues history.
This definitive classic recording features this multi-talented artist's finest tunes like T-Bone Shuffle, Papa Ain't Salty No More and of course the iconic Stormy Monday Blues. Over the years, many acclaimed artists have gone back to this album for inspiration. Classic blues rockers like Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter, B.B. King, John Mayall, The Allman Brothers, Boz Scaggs and Doug Sahm have all interpreted several songs from this classic album. Out of print for over forty years in the vinyl format, Friday Music is thrilled to announce the first time 180g gram audiophile vinyl release of T-Bone Walker's landmark masterpiece T-Bone Blues.
Impeccably mastered by Joe Reagoso (T-Bone Walker/Muddy Waters/Johnny Winter/Boz Scaggs) from the original Atlantic Records monophonic tapes, this audiophile LP truly excites the listener, as each note bent and every vocal laid down by T-Bone Walker are truly captured in this historic recording.
Friday Music has corrected the original running order of this wonderful blues release, the first time since 1959, as well as used the original artwork elements and the stunning liner notes written by the late Ralph J. Gleason. As always, Friday Music includes a poly bag for the album cover and a poly line sleeve to protect your 180g vinyl album.1. Two Bones and a Pick

Jaakko Eino Kalevi"[It] occupies a heavy-eyed place between waking and sleeping, mesmerizing in
its dualities and shoegaze textures." - Stereogum
"Brings some fluttering flights of feeling that dips and dives beneath the subtext,
and masqueraded text, and duplicitous talk" - Impose
Jaakko Eino Kalevi, the self titled album, marks the start of a striking new
chapter for the Berlin-based artist. The ten-track collection finds Jaakko on
spellbinding form, composing sumptuous and wildly original music that teems
with ideas and more than delivers on the promise of its predecessor, the
breakthrough 2013 EP Dreamzone.
From the alluring opener 'J.E.K.' to ravishing finale 'Ikuinen Purkautumaton
JÄnnite', this is a richly immersive and hyper-vivid record that sparkles with
modern pop gems like 'Double Talk', and 'Deeper Shadows'. Throughout,
Jaakko cuts a cool, Zen-like figure - a street-smart sage who sings in English but
expresses his most intimate thoughts in Finnish. He wrote, performed, recorded
and sang almost everything on the record himself with a few guest vocals by
Suad Khalifa and Sonja Immonen.
The album was mixed in New York by Nicolas Vernhes (The War On Drugs and
Run The Jewels) and the warmth he added helped draw the songs together
and underlined the unusual, head-turning quality of Jaakko's songwriting. Even
though he covers a remarkable range of styles and moods across the album, it
feels beautifully weighted. What strikes you, too, is how ambitious the record
is yet how at ease he sounds. Jaakko Eino Kalevi is the most vivid portrayal
yet of Jaakko's sensual world - a Technicolor and wondrous place where
everything happens in its own time, and where nature and technology get along

Queen Of The Minor Key (Awaiting Repress)On new album Queen of the Minor Key, Eilen Jewell and her ace band conjure up songs depicting broken bottles as protection, bad voodoo and Cupid using a sawed-off shotgun instead of a bow and arrow. The dark, often times haunted tales on the album are fleshed out at points by surf guitar, pedal steel and upright bass, but always hold Jewells smoldering voice and unforgettable lyrics center stage.
The lines did not come easily at first, as Jewell was struck with a severe case of writers block when she began the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Sea of Tears. To help she retreated to a cabin in the mountains of Idaho, where the Boston based artist is originally from. With no electricity and no running water, she was able to focus on crafting sketches of songs, breaking her block and building the framework of Queen of the Minor Key.
Jewell and her longtime band of Jason Beek (drums, harmony vocals), Jerry Miller (electric, acoustic and steel guitars), and Johnny Sciascia (upright bass) turned the sketches into songs. A crack unit with an innate musical connection developed after playing 150 plus shows a year for the last five years, the band has an impressive array of styles and sounds displayed fully on the album. From the rollicking, hard-edged rockabilly surf of the title track to the whining pedal steel and gentle strum of the autobiographical Santa Fe.1. Radio City

Respighi - Birds - Brazilian Impressions (Speakers Corner)
It was Respighis fascination with ancient dances and songs that inspired him to write his bird suite. His great love for such music makes itself felt in every single movement of this work. While Respighi imbued each of the bird portraits with his very own sound colouring typical of his time, there is an original masterpiece by a Renaissance or Baroque composer lurking in the background.
The marchlike 'Intrada', based on a piece by Bernardo Pasquini (1637-1710), is further refined by a gradual building-up of the instrumental apparatus and comes to a final climax full of pomp and glory in which the brass are given prominence.
Ornithological elements are easily identified in the movements which follow: the doves cooing and billing is are underlined by a sighing, rhythmic base; the hen is heard clucking with a characteristic motif, and the song of the nightingale is brought to us by the flute over a mysterious murmuring on the low strings. The cuckoo is then heard, followed by a repeat of the initial theme, thus bringing to perfect completion 'Gli Ucelli' ('The Birds'), a colourful bird show which knows no rival in modern music.
The 'Impressioni brasiliano' ('Brazilian Impressions') is also a seldom heard jewel in both the concert hall and on record. Although the three-movement work has a subtle rhythm which runs throughout the work, it is far removed from the well-known 'Europeanised' samba adaptations which are so often heard. The suite is remarkable for its tender, impressionistic colouring which demands to be heard time and time again.
Recording: July 1957 in Watford Town Hall, London, by C.R. Fine
Production: Wilma Cozart and Harold Lawrence
About Speakers Corner
At the beginning of the 90s, in the early days of audiophile vinyl re-releases, the situation was fairly straightforward. Companies such as DCC, Mobile Fidelity, Classic Records and, of course, Speakers Corner all maintained a mutual, unwritten ethical code: we would only use analogue tapes to manufacture records.
During the course of the present vinyl hype, many others have jumped on the bandwagon in the hope of securing a corner of the market. Very often they are not so ethical and use every imaginable source to master from: CDs, LPs, digital files, MP3s - or employed existant tools from the 80s and 90s for manufacturing.
A digital delay is gladly used when cutting a lacquer disc because tape machines with an analogue delay have become quite rare and are therefore expensive. When cutting the lacquer, the audio signal is delayed by one LP revolution against the signal, which controls the cutter head, and for this a digital delay is very often employed. Of course, the resultant sound signal is completely digital and thus only as good as this delay.
We should like to emphasise that Speakers Corner Records on principle only uses the original master tape as the basis for the entirely analogue cutting of lacquer discs. In addition, the pressing tool is newly manufactured as a matter of principle. We have one digital recording in our catalogue (Alan Parsons / Eye In The Sky"), but even in this particular case we used the analogue tapes for cutting.
We only employ existing tools for manufacturing if an improved result is not forthcoming, e.g. the title Elvis Is Back, which was mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray, or several titles from our Philips Classics series, which in any case Willem Makkee cut from the original masters at the Emil Berliner Studios in the 90s. It goes without saying that we only used the mother and that new tools were made for our production.
To put it in a nutshell: we can ensure you that our releases are free from any kind of digital effects - excluding the exception above - and that the lacquer discs are newly cut.$34.99180 Gram Audiophile Virgin Vinyl LP - Sealed Buy Now

The Freewheelin Bob Dylan, Another Side of Bob Dylan, Bringing It All Back Home, Blonde on Blonde, and The Basement Tapes Also Available from Mobile Fidelity
Bob Dylan was at several crossroads in the mid-1970s. Artistically, he was largely written off as being past his prime. Emotionally, he was suffering through a painful divorce from his then-wife Sara Lowndes. Creatively, he appeared at a stalemate, his previous decades unprecedented run of transformational brilliance finished. Then came Blood on the Tracks.
A start-to-finish cycle that documents a lovers pursuit of, entanglement with, and loss of a woman, the bracingly intimate 1975 effort remains one of the most encompassing break-up albums ever made and ranks as the most personal statement of the Bards career. To hear it is to experience the agony, frustration, trauma, highs, lows, confusion, sadness, and, ultimately, requisite redemption associated with intimate relationships gone astray. Dylan maintains its a work of fiction, but its evident close-vested autobiographical premise is what helps make it universal: Its the icon singing through tears, going out of his mind, battling hallowing emptiness, firing shots across the bow, and accepting culpability. It is, in short, a consummate expression of loves darker sides and the consequences of what happens when dreams unravel.
As part of its Bob Dylan catalog restoration series, Mobile Fidelity is thoroughly humbled to have the privilege of mastering the iconic LP from the original master tapes and pressing it on dead-quiet LPs at RTI. The end result is the very finest, most transparent analog edition of Blood on the Tracks ever producedand the first-ever proper analog reissue. Fantastically presenting both the solo acoustic and band-supported songs with the utmost clarity, dynamics, presence, immediacy, spaciousness, imaging, and balance, this version shines a high-powered light on the fluid vocal phrasing, timbral shifts, functional rhythms, and inward-looking strumming that contribute to every song here serving as a wound-exposing confessional.
For all the melancholic pain, unresolved questions, shattered memories, wasted times, unrequited dialogs, and weary regret within, Blood on the Tracks remains as daring as it is reflective. Rather than follow for a monotone caustic vibe, Dylans songs burrow into the subconscious for the manners in which they are even-keeled, mellow, and occasionally, even peaceful. Dignity, honor, poignancy, and fairnessall traits uncommon in any situation in which partners dissolve histories, change hearts, and attribute blameinstill the record with equilibrium on par with the consistency of the flowing melodies.
Throughout, tunes come on and proceed as if they could continue forever, Dylan spinning poetic verses and conversations amidst finely tied knots of acoustic notes, chords, and fills, the deceivingly simple architecture conjuring the intertwined refractions of a bezeled jewel, various angles, colors, and textures conjoining into a gorgeously inseparable whole. Backed by Tony Browns flexible albeit subtle bass, Buddy Cages country-streaked pedal-steel guitar, and Paul Griffins soul-baring organan instrument used to shadow, tuckpoint, and illuminate here as effectively as any time in rock historyDylan pours soulful emotion, open his veins, and bleeds.
Ranked 16 on Rolling Stones list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, and replete with existential thought, piercing directness, raw singing, and majestic arrangements,
Given the sonic and artistic merit of this album, we anticipate huge demand.
