ConstructSwedish melodic death metallers DARK TRANQUILLITY will release their tenth studio album, Construct, on May 27 via Century Media Records. The album was mixed by Jens Bogren (PARADISE LOST, OPETH, KATATONIA) at his Fascination Street studios in Örebro, Sweden.
Commented the band: The selected few people that so far have been granted the privilege of hearing the full album are uniformingly convinced that 'Construct' is the strongest and most exciting DARK TRANQUILLITY album in a long time, and who are we to disagree? While still bearing the unmistakable mark of the DARK TRANQUILLITY, the record is probably our most different and diverse offering since 1999's 'Projector'.1.For Broken Words

Vobiscum SatanasVobiscum Satanas is Dark Funeral's second full-length album.
This is black metal played in it's most extreme form. What else to say about this release of a pure holocaust! Featured here on this lineup is Emperor Magus Caligula on vocals/bass, Lord Ahriman on guitars, Typhos on guitars and Alzazmon on drums. They have gone through several lineup changes over the years but that hasn't stopped them from producing black metal to its mightiest extreme. It's a shame that this is only a little bit over 35 minutes in length.
The music itself features guitars playing at utterly spell bounding tempos most of the whole way through this release. Not too much variety there but that doesn't take away from the power the album exhibits. Also, the guitars on this release were tuned down to E-Flat which is the tuning they have always used since their first release The Secret Of The Black Arts. The blast beating drums is featured on this entire release except for a few slower tempos but not that many. Also, some drums that contain fast double bass but it isn't prevalent throughout this whole release. The guitars contain tremolo picking almost through every track. It doesn't really change much here because I think their focus was to pound out some seriously evil sounds. They succeeded too by using minor chord progressions all throughout the album! This is about as dark as it gets.

Silencing MachineFormed by Blake Judd and Pat Noctis McCormick in 2000, Chicago's Nachtmystium started off as a primitive 4-track black metal band. Over the years, they have progressed through many line-up changes (now featuring members of Wolves in the Throne Room, Avichi, Lord Mantis and Minsk) and the their sound has constantly evolved, stepping away from the typical black metal thematics and embracing disparate influences, while maintaining the raw and harsh edge that's unique to the black metal genre.
The incorporation of other influences has helped the band create a sound that is unique to them specifically, and will continue to work as an ever-expanding unit with the ultimate goal to create metal music that pushes boundaries and walks into unchartered territories. Recorded at Engine Studios with Sanford Parker (Yob, Pelican), Nachtmystium's massively anticipated fourth full-length, Silencing Machine, follows-up the critically acclaimed Addicts: Black Meddle Pt. Sin And BonesFozzy is the brainchild of Rich Ward and Chris Jericho, two larger-than-life, trailblazing personalities that have spent the past decade shaping their own brand of sonic splendor, Ward's incendiary guitars forging a path for Jericho's inimitable vocals atop a rhythmic foundation of earth-rattling proportions. Not that anybody should be surprised. Ward is one of metal s pioneers the mastermind of Stuck Mojo, he soldered metal with rhythmic vocals long before it became fashionable, touring the world with some of metal s biggest bands and being hailed as one of Pantera legend Dimebag Darrell and Black Label Society/Ozzy Osbourne axe man Zakk Wylde's favorite guitarists. And front men don't come more dynamic than Chris Jericho, one of professional wrestling's biggest superstars, the embodiment of charisma, and the byproduct of a lifetime immersed in metal.
Sins and Bones is Fozzy in their full metal glory, 10 tracks of the most powerful music North America has to offer, capturing the bands powerhouse fusion of genres power metal roots bleeding with progressive style and a classic feel. Jericho and Ward have combined to sell more than 1.2 million records in their heralded careers, but those numbers are a fraction of the audience Fozzy were introduced to when their front man made the Top 7 as a contestant on season 10 of Dancing with the Stars, one of the biggest television shows in the world. Recorded in Gippsland, country Victoria with J. Walker (Machine Translations) - comes Australian National Treasure - Paul Kelly's long awaited first album in 5 years. Some of the guest musicians on the album include Dan Kelly, Pete and Dan Luscombe, Vika & Linda Bull and Laura Jean.
The concept of the album is best described by Paul himself: Spring And Fall is a song cycle. It's been five years since I made a record and perhaps the experience of writing a book during that time made me attuned to the idea of developing a close knit structure for the next thing I did. I knew I didn't just want to put out a collection of songs loosely related to each other.
Also, noticing that people are listening to music more and more now in a grazing kind of way - picking a song here and a song there - spurred me on to try and make a record that would take a stand on behalf of the Album. I'm a music grazer with the best of them but there is still a deep satisfaction in encountering a set of songs that unfolds from start to finish and demands to be heard in its entirety. So Spring And Fall has an arc suggested by its title. There are multiple viewpoints with links from song to song. Each song contains the seed of the song that follows. Queensryche (Awaiting Repress)The group's brand new album, with a brand new singer, Todd La Torre.
Drummer Scott Rockenfield says, Century Media has been extremely enthusiastic ever since they came into the equation with us, and for what it's worth it's hard to find enthusiasm like that. After 35 years I guess I'm gracious and honored that we have people that are that enthusiastic about the band, so we're really happy about moving forward with them.
They've approached recording their 12th studio album with that open anything goes mindset. At the same time, the group hearkens back to the heavy metal side that defined classics such as The Warning, Empire, and Operation: Mindcrime - which KERRANG! ranked #34 on their 100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All-Time list and is often uttered in the same breath alongside classic concept records such as Pink Floyd's The Wall and The Who's Tommy.
It's a return to form, Wilton says of the new music. We're rebuilding the architecture and setting it back on course. We have the energy I felt when writing 'Speak' and 'The Needle Lies' from Operation: Mindcrime. There was an excitement in knowing we were clicking on all cylinders at the top of our game. That chemistry and our passion for metal and hard rock has kept us together. We're keeping things fresh, while maintaining that thread that got us here in the first place. It may have gone astray, but it's a key element. You'll feel it on the next album. It'll be from the blood of the band more than ever.
Jackson echoes that sentiment, We want to bring back the sound we started with. As kids, we bonded over listening to Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Rush. That heavier element is a major part of this band. We're revisiting that, and we're having a great time doing it. This is for the fans. We're so blessed to have them, and they're going to love this.1. X2

Watain are Swedish black metal band from Uppsala, formed in 1998. The Wild Hunt, originally released in August of 2013, it's the most important album of their career. Unique. And ambitious. It put them in a league of their own and emancipated beyond their genre peers. With mixing duties handled by the faithful Tore Stjerna at the famous Necromorbus studio in Alvik (Sweden), "The Wild Hunt" marks another gigantic achievement and most importantly once again ups the ante compared to WATAIN's extremely well received previous releases.
By far, it is their most diverse record to date and vocalist E. is adamant about "each album bringing a story on its own. There's never been a question of continuing wherever we ended with the previous one." So if to some the opening instrumental 'Night Vision' picks up nicely where 'Waters of Ain' left off on "Lawless Darkness" and the album's first single 'All That May Bleed' has classic WATAIN written all over the place, these eleven songs offer plenty of devilish surprises. The trio (rounded up by P. on strings and H. on drums) has never ever compromised their sound nor their vision to "mainstream black metal" and "The Wild Hunt" is another vivid proof of that. This sonic and lyrical tour-de-force explores the band's classic roots like Bathory or Dissection ("being quite a retrospective record, that record is permeated by things that meant a lot to us in the past so no reason to try to hide them") while also being truly their own. And who else than WATAIN could have come up with such an intimate song like 'They Rode On' where for the first time they dare using clean vocals? "I piss on those so-called artists who adapt themselves in order to reach bigger audiences. The main reason why we achieved all that we did is that we never betrayed our initial vision, not because we ever pretended to write more 'accessible' music. That specific song is just us being brutally personal and honest. It shows another important facet of the WATAIN world."LP 1

Sky SwallowerHailing from the small town of Plaistow, New Hampshire, VATTNET VISKAR is anything but small. Formed in the fall of 2010, the band has quickly risen amongst the ranks of US black metal acts.
VATTNET VISKAR's brooding take on blackened atmospheric doom metal perfectly mirrors their organic approach to their craft. Following a well received two-song demo in 2011, they then released a self-titled EP that was met with praise from both fans and the press alike. Stereogum listed it as one of the best releases of 2012 while Pitchfork proclaimed "on their debut EP they had me hooked in a matter of seconds and salivating by the end of its 27 minutes. It's an assured offering for such a young band."
Not content to keep their blackened-doom alchemy confined to the studio, however, they back it up with a thundering live performance. Having already shared the stage with such titans as BLACK ANVIL, INQUISITION and WOODS OF YPRES, they have left their mark up and throughout the US with a seemingly endless string of shows, including at stop at last year's SXSW festival, playing three shows throughout the event.
Soon after, the band started working on their Century Media debut album, Sky Swallower. Picking up right where their EP left off, the album features 8 songs of crushing, yet ambient tracks. The songs are punishing, yet soaring. Press is already calling it one of the best albums of the year, making Vattnet Viskar one of the biggest buzz bands around.1. New Alchemy

Riverman's DaughterThe Grahams, the creative union of lifelong romantic partners Alyssa and Doug Graham, combine soulful bluegrass with hints of earthy Americana, adding colors from traditional folk and country blues, into an infectious blend of storytelling that results in songs of love, loss, yearning, and the view from rural American roads less traveled.
While the duo first met in grade school -- a trait shared by previous musical trail-blazers, from Lennon/McCartney to Jagger/Richards - the Grahams' journey together began when they were teenagers in the shadow of New York City. There, Alyssa, the impassioned troubadour, and Doug, the guitarist extraordinaire, shared a mutual love for the music of the Woodstock era and the adventures of the great outdoors. Over the ensuing years many a campfire lit acoustic jam would include the best of roots renegades like Neil Young, The Band, Gram Parsons, Janis and Emmylou along with more than a few Jerry Garcia and Johnny Cash nuggets. Later, spending much of their time in the secluded Adirondack Mountains at the Graham family fold, Alyssa and Doug learned the time-honored craft of songwriting. Here, their ongoing interests in traditional country, mountain bluegrass and folk legends such as The Carter Family and Mississippi John Hurt would blossom. Hoping to share their stories on a wider stage, the couple eventually settled in New York City, where they performed, collaborated and recorded a variety of acclaimed material before adopting The Grahams moniker.
While the duo had written music together before, in the summer of 2012 new writing sessions yielded a different approach. Something magical was happening between Alyssa and Doug. A catalyst was born in the new song Riverman's Daughter, a tale of love, loss, and hardship on the river that showcases Alyssa's bountiful voice. Backed by her own rhythm guitar, along with the strong current of Doug's cascading accompaniment on the six string, and traditional vocal harmonies, the track came in a lightning bolt of inspiration. A vision and calling to write more songs of its kind took hold.
Alyssa and Doug had an idea: What if they put their city lives on hold and, armed with just guitars and backpacks, traveled the 2,500 miles of highways and byways of the Mississippi River from Minnesota to Louisiana. Light out for the territory, so to speak, like Huck and Jim. There, the duo could follow the Great River Road (GRR) that parallels the waterway, meet the people, and hear first-hand where European folk music, brought to these shores generations ago, took root alongside rhythms and chants from Africa, and how these polarizing sounds formed the backbone of our 20th Century American musical heritage. And so The Grahams did just that, and in the process created their debut album, Riverman's Daughter. Along the way The Grahams played gigs at the various gin and juke joints that dotted the GRR, and met a colorful cast of characters and genuine music makers with whom the duo shared and exchanged stories through the common bond of song.
Eventually Alyssa and Doug ended up intentionally isolated on an old houseboat in rural Louisiana where the Mississippi spills into the Atchafalaya swamp. There, The Grahams prolifically stockpiled songs, enjoyed the simplicity of living off the grid, and for a spell, invited onboard friends and musicians including their longtime collaborator Bryan McCann, a wordsmith who aids with lyrical inspiration. Yet perhaps the biggest inspiration on Riverman's Daughter was Doug's own mother, Gigi, the matriarch of the Graham family clan, and a true fan of the duo who had been diagnosed with cancer earlier that year. As her condition worsened, the Grahams packed up their guitars and newly minted collection of songs to become Gigi's angel band, and played by her side until she passed away.
As recording of the new album began, The Grahams found a true kindred spirit in Grammy-winning producer Malcolm Burn, who brought a magical touch and inspired ideas into the studio. It was Burn's idea to record both Alyssa and Doug's parts live to tape without the assistance of headphones or isolation -- in the way they were written. This process gives the album a natural aura that harkens back to an era when this practice was commonplace. Along the same lines, The Grahams chose to record the album in Nashville, the longtime epicenter of country music. While the album's foundation is simple and acoustic, The Grahams are backed on a few tracks by stellar accompaniment including the Grammy-nominated North Mississippi Allstars. Along with the title song the album is highlighted by the 70's country rock flavored Carrying The Torch, the spirited traditional vibe of The Piney River, and the riveting upbeat barn dance playfulness of Revival Time.
Ultimately, the album is a winning culmination of The Grahams' long journey into the heart of America, the inspiration they derived from immersion into classic American music, and the natural and honest talent they have for bringing forth a modern musical idiom steeped in tradition.1. Revival Time

Razed To The GroundRazed to the Ground was self-produced by Fort Worth-based duo PINKISH BLACK's own Jon Teague and Daron Beck, mastered by James Plotkin, and recorded at The Echo Lab with Matt Barnhart handling engineer duties.
PINKISH BLACK is the continuation of THE GREAT TYRANT, a three-piece that released one LP following the passing of their bass player, Tommy Atkins. When Atkins died, Jon Teague (drums, synth, loops) and Daron Beck (vocals, keyboard, synth) decided to change the band's name and remain a two-piece, yet still retain TGT's ground-breaking sound. With no stringed instruments, the duo now relies on aura and raw emotions to obtain their unique heaviness. Omen Of Disease (Awaiting Repress)Brought forth in 1998, BROKEN HOPE was the brainchild of guitarist/chief-lyricist-songwriter, Jeremy Wagner. Though Jeremy was still attending High School, his passion and drive for bringing the band out of obscurity was apparent from the start. In 1989 and 1990, BROKEN HOPE recorded two demo tapes which landed them a deal with the underground label, Grind Core records. In 1991, BROKEN HOPE spewed forth their debut album, Swamped In Gore, which subsequently launched the band out of the underground and into the mainstream. Swamped In Gore was not only ahead of its time musically but it was also the first digitally-recorded death-metal album yet again showing the forward thinking of the then fledgling act.
By 1993, BROKEN HOPE broke away from their first record label and quickly was immediately approached by Metal Blade Records. BROKEN HOPE released four albums with Metal Blade Records: The Bowels of Repugnance, Repulsive Conception, Loathing, and the re-release of Swamped In Gore. 1995's Repulsive Conception, reached CMJ New Music Monthly's Metal Top 25 chart, as did the follow-up, 1997's Loathing.
In 2013, BROKEN HOPE put pen to paper and signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. Their sixth album, OMEN of DISEASE, is slated for an October 2013 release. The album features new members, Damian Leski (vocals), Mike Micezek (drums), and Chuck Wepfer (lead guitar). Trevor Strnad of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER makes a guest appearance on backing vocals for the track, "Rendered Into Lard." Omen of Disease also features the artwork and return of BROKEN HOPES's former (and brilliant) album cover artist, Wes Benscoter (SLAYER, KREATOR, MORTICIAN plus many more).

In The SignIn the Sign is exhilarating and fairly inspired. This release is a reissue of Dark Funeral's self-titled debut EP of 1994, although Necropolis has provided new art work and added two bonus tracks. While Shadows Over Transylvania, Open the Gates, In the Sign of the Horns, and My Dark Desires originally came out in 1994, the bonus tracks Call From the Grave and Equimanthorn were recorded in 1996. In death metal/black metal circles, The Secrets of the Black Arts is generally regarded as Dark Funeral's most essential release, although In the Sign will interest the Swedes' hardcore cult followers.

III: Beneath Trident's Tomb (Awaiting Repress)Throughout its tumultuous existence, Twilight has struggled to define just what it was. Actually, it's been the public struggling to define the band. Black metal supergroup? The members would scoff at this. Originally started by N. Imperial (Krieg), Wrest (Leviathan, Lurker Of Chalice), Malefic (Xasthur), Blake Judd (Nachtmystium), and Hildof (Draugar), one would argue this being the ultimate kult supergroup. Their debut album was recorded by mailing cassette tapes back and forth between the members. Shortly after it was released, they announced they broke up. They never played a show and never planned on it.
Almost 5 years later a second album was announced, as was new members. Monument To Time End saw Sanford Parker (Minsk, Corrections House), Stavros Giannopolous (The Atlas Moth), and Aaron Turner (Isis) brought into the fold. The Twilight lore started to grow even stronger when it was rumored that Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) had joined the band. Moore had mentioned in interviews his taste for USBM and though mutual friends, was put in touch with Parker. A few months later the band recorded III: Beneath Trident's Tomb. III is much more of an experimental album than its predecessors. It is a dark, uncomfortable listen.
Twilight have already announced that they are breaking up, and that Judd, one of the founding members, is absent from the album. In the end, Twilight's legacy will be shrouded in mystery and debate. But whatever Twilight is - band, project, or collaboration, they have undeniably released some of the most unique albums in the underground ever and III will cement their legacy and further define what American Black Metal is and can be.1. Broken Crown HaloThe Jay Baumgardner-produced 'Broken Crown Halo' is an 11-track effort that the group describes as "a cinematic album that could be the soundtrack of our days - it's a dark vision of a near future when survival is second nature and failure is not something to be avoided, but rather cultivated with lessons learned along the way."
Further discussing the creation of the disc, the group added, "We set the bar pretty high with 'Dark Adrenaline' and it hasn't been easy bringing our sound to the next level, but we have lived, learned and grown through a year full of personal issues and changes. We learned to be strong and get stronger, and we felt an inner vibe in this band that we haven't felt before." They stated that they were influenced by the usage of vintage gear, watching Italian horror movies and finding inspiration in bands likes Goblin. They conclude, "'Broken Crown Halo' is Lacuna Coil introducing a new order and letting nothing stand in our way."

Melana Chasmata (Awaiting Repress)Triptykon's second album, Melana Chasmata (rough translation: black, deep depressions/valleys) will be released in 2014 through Century Media Records/Prowling Death Records Ltd.
Melana Chasmata will feature nine songs, at a playing time of around 67 minutes.
Like its predecessor Eparistera Daimones, the album was produced by Triptykon's singer/guitarist Tom Gabriel Warrior and guitarist V. Santura and recorded and mixed at V. Santura's own Woodshed Studio in southern Germany as well as at Triptykon's rehearsal facilities in Zurich, Switzerland, in 2013 and 2014. Those who have already heard Melana Chasmata have described it as atmospheric, dark, diabolical, and dramatic, diverse, epic, and doomy, but on an entirely different level, a fierce boulder of abhorrence, or very heavy and yet very aesthetic at the same time.

Back To The FrontExplaining the relevance and influence of ENTOMBED is probably as superfluous as pointing out why Slayer rule, Lemmy is bigger than God and Dio the greatest loss in metal history. A legend is a legend. Fullstop. F**k off!
If you still require a proper explanation that is less shot from the hip, well let us start with this: The Swedish Death Metal forefathers and genre innovators have inspired tons of bands all around the globe with their invincible trademark sound. However, as the band's last album "Serpent Saints - The Ten Amendments" dates back to 2007, there is definitely more than a good reason for a bit of catch-up and ask why it took so long to finish the band's superb 10th opus, programmatically titled "Back To the Front", vocalist extraordinaire L-G Petrov states:
""Serpents " was a fairly good album but a little weak compared to previous works and the distribution wasn't that great yet we continued playing shows throughout the past years but never really got going with new songs. At some point we decided that it was time for a new album, so we sat down and played riffs that we had from before as well as many new riffs and started putting them together which really sparked our motivation. That really gave us a push! We feel that this is the best album so far in many years and I think you can hear it on the album!"
Thematically, the will and determination to back up such words with fantastic songs is reflected in the powerful album title and part of the concept of the record as guitarist Nico Elgstrand describes:
"A lot of the album is about being at war in different ways and struggles/shortcomings of mankind, so we felt that "Back To The Front" fitted really well. It has a military reference obviously and we also feel like a platoon (ha ha, a small platoon) that has been behind the frontlines for a long time anxious to get back into battle. Not mean and lean but rather fat and bored and really keen on getting back to what we do best, which of course is to kill! Metaphorically speaking needless to say, ha ha. Also it is a very direct way of saying we've been away for way too long, we know and that we will now aim to stay at the front until the friggin' battle is won! The cavalry has finally arrived if you will (without horses though, ha ha)!"
Well spoken, Sir, yet expectations will be incredibly high on this one as ENTOMBED's roots and legacy goes way back into the year 1987 when they formed under the name NIHILIST. In 1989 the formation changed its name to ENTOMBED and together with Morbid (for whom singer LG played drums), Treblinka/Tiamat, Grave and Dismember, ENTOMBED/NIHILIST established themselves among the earliest bands to forge the immortal Swedish death metal sound that became really popular and unique due to its punkish roots and especially that chainsaw guitar sound, today inseparably linked to terms like "Skogsberg", "Sunlight Studio" or just "Stockholm sound". Inspired by such diverse acts as Autopsy, Motörhead, Discharge or Kiss, over the years ENTOMBED did not shy away from thinking outside of the coffin resulting in a style some fans called Death'n'Roll but in the end it was, is and will be just a band with a style and impact entirely their own.
So, what awaits the listener on "Back To The Front"? Produced by Roberto Laghi (In Flames, Hardcore Superstar) at Studio Bohus (Abba, Europe) in KunÄlv, it's 666% true to the ENTOMBED everybody loves. While not falling for total regression back to the early classics "Left Hand Path" or "Clandestine", it is a total bone-crushing opus that will have fans of all periods cry tears of joy and even the most stubborn fan of the early days join in shame. "The goal was to have riffs that felt fresh and exciting, to make an album that felt old school as well as fresh and up to date, showing who ENTOMBED are today," L-G puts it quite simply and Nico continues: "I thoroughly enjoy the fact that I find it super hard to pick 2 or 3 songs as the best of it, because i really like 'em all. I think that they all have something new and fresh yet it feels very old school in some way. "Kill To Live" with its surprising ENTOMBED-intro turned out very cool and the track also has an almost cinematic yet classic metal feel to it, dunno why, but it just invigorates me. "Second To None" kinda makes me wanna drive a tank while listening, and that to me is how proper metal should sound! It makes you wanna do mighty things so to speak!"
From the morbid, pissed-off lyrics over detuned, massive riffs to the inimitable brick-heavy groove and LG Petrov's titanic roar, "Back To The Front" not only musically but also visually with its stunning painting by Necropolitus Cracoviensis Zbgniew Bielak II (Watain, Ghost, Vader) seems to send a respectful nod to the old school as L-G confirms: "The skull will always be a part of ENTOMBED. I totally agree, we have taken away some of the rock parts and gone with more metal, and I think fans new and old will appreciate that."
With European touring under way in December with label mates and black metal genre leaders WATAIN - vocalist Erik actually penned lyrics for the song "Carnage" (from "When In Sodom" EP, 2006) - and former band member Nicke Andersson contributed parts to the new song "Vulture And The Traitor", the Swedish metal platoon ENTOMBED anno 2013 has all its weapons polished and reloaded and is ready to shatter the entire music scene with an uncompromising full frontal assault. So, let us all enjoy "Back To The Front" and celebrate the fact that the legend called ENTOMBED has finally returned. Goddamn!1. Kill To Live

The Year The Sun DiedReactivated legendary Seattle metal band, Sanctuary, have wrapped up the recording of their new album, The Year The Sun Died. Recorded in Seattle at Soundhouse Studios with Zeuss (Whitechapel, Hatebreed), the album will feature 11 tracks and a bonus track, a cover of the Doors classic, Waiting for the Sun.
Comments singer, Warrel Dane:
Now that hell has officially frozen over and the pigs have flown I can proudly say The Year The Sun Died is finished. The record that nobody thought would ever get here has come in kicking ... and yes there is screaming!
Working with Zeuss (aka the commander) was great. He really pushed us all to be better. This is a very modern sounding record with roots still firmly planted in old school six string metal and I gotta give him creds for that.
Sanctuary was formed in Seattle in 1985 and released two studio albums on Epic Records, Refuge Denied in 1987 and Into the Mirror Black in 1989. They toured the world with the likes of Megadeth, Warlock, Fates Warning, Death Angel and many more. In 1992, the band officially disbanded with singer Warrel Dane and bassist Jim Sheppard forming the critically acclaimed group, Nevermore. Sanctuary announced in 2010 that they would be reuniting and played metal festivals in both Europe and the US with the original line up save for guitarist Sean Blosl. Former Forced Entry guitarist, Brad Hull has stepped into to fill his shoes as a permanent touring and recording member.

Recorded with Tue Madsen (Heaven Shall Burn, The Haunted) at Nova Studios in Staten Island, New York and mixed at Madsen's Antfarm Studios in Aarhus, Denmark, "Last Act of Defiance" marks the third time SICK OF IT ALL have recorded with the Dane. What they get in return is a heavy, thick sound that recalls the hardness of the Big Apple and aligns perfectly with the wicked rhythms of guitarist Pete Koller, the deep grooves of bassist Craig Setari, Majidi's cement-cracking drums, and Lou Koller's fist-raising shouts and screams.1.
