Real Gone Music's 2-LP Set Comes In A Newly Designed Gatefold Package Featuring Production Stills From The Film
Features Such Artists As Marilyn Manson, Deftones, Ministry, Rage Against The Machine, Prodigy, And Rammstein
Never Before Released On Vinyl
Every decade or so a science fiction film comes along that captures the Zeitgeist and simultaneously casts a searchlight into the murk of what's to come. Such a film was The Matrix.
Released in 1999 to a public already grappling with huge technological change and subject to Y2K hysteria whipped up by the media, The Matrix wove such au courant tropes as Japanese animÉ, Hong Kong martial arts films, cyperpunk sci-fi, and hacker hero worship into a tale of druggy paranoia whose vision of a grim future marked with universal surveillance and pathological interconnectedness actually looks less paranoid by the day.
And its soundtrack was similarly forward-looking. Instead of offering the blues-based, heavy metal rock that might have populated the score had the movie been made a decade before, The Matrix tapped into the new, breakbeat electronic sounds making inroads into popular music. The result was a propulsive audio ride perfectly mated to the film's cinematographic "bullet time" innovations, a doom-laden, neck-snapping blend of stoner metal, hip hop and electronica.
Now, Real Gone Music is proud (in fact, we're pinching ourselves is this some machine-made illusion?) to present, for the first time EVER on vinyl, the original soundtrack to The Matrix in a limited (what else?) "red and blue pill" vinyl edition. The 2-LP set comes in a newly-designed gatefold package featuring stills from the original film production and is limited to 1500 copies like Morpheus says, this is your last chance!

Featuring "I'm Deranged" By David Bowie, "The Perfect Drug" By Nine Inch Nails
Lost Highway is the 1997 French-American neo-noir-horror mystery film written and directed by David Lynch. It stars Bill Pullman as a man convicted of murdering his wife (Patricia Arquette), after which he inexplicably morphs into a young mechanic and begins a new life.
The film's score was composed by Angelo Badalamenti, with additional music by Barry Adamson, however Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails was responsible for assembling the soundtrack. David Bowie's "I'm Deranged", Rammstein's "Heirate Mich", Lou Reed's "This Magic Moment", Marilyn Manson's "Apple Of Sodom" plus more tracks from Trent Reznor, The Smashing Pumpkins all appear on the double album to accompany the Angelo Badalamenti and Barry Adamson theme music.
Lost Highway premiered in 1997 in the United States on a limited theatrical release and has developed a cult following. Director David Lynch received three Academy Awards nominations, a Golden Lion award from the Venice Film Festival for lifetime achievements as well as a Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival for Wild At Heart in 1990.LP 1

'Goldkinder' is the self released fourth album from We Butter The Bread With Butter.
Guitarist Marcel Neumann comments, We had about 80 songs recorded during this time, but we kept throwing away recordings and starting over again until we felt we created something totally new.
Goldkinder was recorded by the band itself and mixed by Stefan Glaumann (Rammstein, Apocalyptica). Incorporating the technical harmonics of metal and the hooks of electro-pop into heavy rock, songs range from in-your-face pit-starters like "Alles Was Ich Will" to tunes with colossal melodies like "Mayday Mayday."
While Neumann admits that the band may shock some fans who loved the pure aggression of 2010's full-length, Der Tag an dem die Welt unterging, he says "We didn't want to be carbon-copy band # One Million and one with the same elements, the same sound and same structures as everyone else. It makes us sad to see every band trying to copy themselves or others."
Obviously any band naming itself something as non-threatening as We Butter The Bread With Butter expecting to gain an audience in the heavy music landscape is not afraid to take chances. Speaking on the moniker, Neumann says, "When we were forming the band, the overall metal landscape was rife with morose imagery and nihilist lyrics. While we play music influenced by metal, our personalities certainly don't echo the negative worldview that dominates the scene. Our name reflects our humor, not our musical style." Positivity is a strong force within the band with lyrics and song subjects centering on wishes, dreams and even fairy tales.

LunaticI'm Only Joking, the opening cut from Lunatic, the sophomore outing from Arizona-by-way-of-South Africa-based indie rockers Kongos, thunders in on a bedrock of thick, tribal toms and similarly dense, compressed guitar that suggests Muse by way of Konono No.1. It's an aesthetic that weaves its way throughout much of the album, and brothers Dylan, Daniel, Jesse, and Johnny Kongos, the sons of South African singer/songwriter John Kongos (who hit it big in 1971 with the single He's Gonna Step on You Again), generate a huge sound for a four-piece. The sleek, circular, and piston-like Come with Me, with its relentless, accordion-driven Soweto pulse and slick, falsetto-driven modern rock flourishes, sounds like Rammstein riffing off of Paul Simon's Boy in the Bubble, while the more refined, yet no less danceable I Want to Know dims the lights for a bout of churning, midtempo reggae with electro-pop tentacles. The worldbeat influences are applied relatively seamlessly throughout, though each of the 12 tracks are, at their heart, radio-ready slabs of stylish alt-rock in the vein of Kings of Leon, pre-Kid A-era Radiohead, and even Coldplay. There's a wan, vaguely Everyman lyricism at work here as well, which makes some of the slower numbers a bit of a chore, but when the band lets it rip, as in the case of top-down, desert road jams like Hey I Don't Know, It's a Good Life, and the aforementioned Come with Me, Lunatic earns the shifty weight of its unhinged moniker.LP 1

Dead To The WorldHelmet's First Studio Album In 7 Years
Helmet was formed in New York City in 1989 by founding members Page Hamilton, Henry Bogdan, Peter Mengede and John Stanier. They have had a large impact on many heavy metal, hard rock, nu metal, post-hardcore and metalcore acts, with bands such as Tool, Pantera, Mastodon, Converge, Meshuggah, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Queens of the Stone Age, Sepultura, At the Drive In, System of a Down, Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein, Korn, Marilyn Manson, Silverchair, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, Slipknot, Staind and many others crediting Helmet as an influence.
The group released their first full length album Strap It On, in 1991. The band found mainstream success with their follow up album Meantime which debuted at number 68 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the hits Unsung and In the Meantime. In 1994, Helmet explored new sonic territories with the fan favorite and critically acclaimed Betty, which incorporated elements of jazz and blues into their thinking man's metal. Following an additional album, Helmet broke up in 1998, while Hamilton explored other projects, including various collaborations and film scores.
In 2004, Hamilton reformed Helmet with a new lineup, releasing the album Size Matters that same year. In 2006, they released Monochrome and then released their most recent album, Seeing Eye Dog, via in 2010.
Since the 2004 revival, Helmet has toured extensively all over the world. In 2012, they toured Europe in light of the 20th anniversary of Meantime and, most recently, embarked on a similar tour for the 20th anniversary of Betty.

Wagner Reloaded - Live In LeipzigAPOCALYPTICA - the ground-breaking Finnish orchestral rock group - release Wagner Reloaded - Live In Leipzig, an epic live collaboration with the acclaimed MDR Leipzig Symphony Orchestra, via BMG. The album's release is perfectly timed since 2013 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of iconic German composer Richard Wagner.
For Wagner Reloaded - Live In Leipzig, Apocalyptica created new compositions based on Wagner's body of work and his life, teaming with award-winning choreographer and dancer Gregor Seyffert to stage a brilliant and magical, cross-genre event featuring a live concert and theatrical production.
"We've been asked many times to do this type of project, but this is the first one we got excited about," explains Apocalyptica's Eicca Toppinen. "The mission was to celebrate Wagner, we took elements of his life and used his original music and rearranged it. It was like writing a score for a movie, I had a list of themes and I had to think about the length of scenes and write the music while envisioning Apocalyptica performing on a massive stage with the symphony, choir and one-hundred dancers."
Since its inception, the Finnish cello-based heavy rock group Apocalyptica has been mining the classical form and structure creating compositions that are both unpredictable and unforgettable. From the METALLICA covers that turned the music scene on its ear to 2007's Worlds Collide - which saw the group collaborate with everyone from SLIPKNOT's Corey Taylor to RAMMSTEIN's Till Lindemann and LACUNA COIL's Cristina Scabbia - Apocalyptica have released seven studio albums featuring numerous cello-based instrumentals and vocal-based songs. They've explored styles from atmospheric interludes to fast, battering rhythms - their music has always been gripping, dynamic and full of melody.

Pioneers, philosophers, trailblazers, in short: prophets always have to assemble their flocks abroad before they find due recognition in their homelands. This also applies to the German artform KMFDM. Whether in the US, Japan, Australia or elsewhere (where they sold hundred thousands of records and embarked on various sold out tours) - for over a quarter of a century they are the epitome and synonym for a musical style of the harder variety: Industrial Rock. KMFDM pioneered the crossover between techno/dance and heavy metal, creating their unique sound and were one of the first bands to bring Industrial Rock to mainstream. They influenced bands such as Rammstein with whom they were touring the US - with KMFDM headlining. The band was founded in 1984 and rapidly evolved year by year through intense experimentation and touring. They have managed to redefine themselves with every new release.

ROCKS - Milestones Reloaded (Out of Stock)Best Of Collection - Reimagined And Remixed Versions Of KMFDM Classics
KMFDM pioneered the crossover between techno/ dance and heavy metal, creating their unique sound in the field of Industrial Rock. That influenced bands such as Rammstein with whom they were touring the US - with KMFDM headlining.
The band was founded in 1984 and rapidly evolved year by year through intense experimentation and touring. They have managed to redefine themselves with every new release.
"ROCKS" is a personal "best of" compilation by KMFDM protagonists and masterminds Sascha Konietzko and Lucia Cifarelli, who claim the re-imagined, re-mixed pieces would be an "ideal playlist for a live set".
Ranging from remixes by Bradley Bills of CHANT to producer/musician extraordinary Marco Trentacoste and Sascha Konietzko himself, the re-worked versions extract the essence of the band and, at the same time, place new emphases and commemorate the band's 32nd anniversary.
In true KMFDM tradition, "ROCKS" bears all the band's trademarks: the (mostly) five letters commonly used in the title, as well as the iconic graphics of Aidan Hughes aka BRUTE!, which are reminiscent in the style of early Soviet Constructivism propaganda. Add to this KMFDM's signature industrial sound, a crossover between techno/dance and heavy metal,
and densely distilled political lyrics, which never fail to challenge ignoramuses of every breed, and it is clear why KMFDM is regarded as the epitome and synonym for the musical style of the harder variety.1. Kunst
