Far Cry Primal: Original Game SoundtrackTwo-time BAFTA winning composer, Jason Graves has composed the original game soundtrack for the next exciting chapter in the award-winning Far Cry® franchise, Far Cry® Primal. Graves is renowned for his textural concept scores and cinematic orchestration on AAA titles such as Until Dawn, The Order: 1886, Evolve, Tomb Raider and Dead Space.
As a classically-trained composer and world percussionist, Graves created an entirely live organic score for Far Cry® Primal, blending a diverse array of sounds from the natural environment and incorporating many animal effects into the score. The evocative soundtrack features a unique set of textures representing each of the tribes that players will encounter, including a ram's horn and solo flute (Wenja); Aztec death whistles, female vocals, ritualistic percussion (Izilia); raw sounds from Far Cry's Stone Age natural environment including bushes, bones, antlers, clay pots, wooden artifacts and male vocals (Udam). Crafted together the sounds bring the rich and primal gameplay alive to players challenged to survive in a hostile environment and rise to become the apex predator.LP 1

Metallica Through The Never
Black, Red, & White Colored Vinyl
Award-winning filmmaker Nimród Antal (Predators, Kontroll) creates a groundbreaking 3-D motion picture event, Metallica Through the Never. The music-driven feature film combines a bold narrative and spectacular live-performance footage of one of the most popular and influential rock bands in history to produce a bracing, raw and visceral cinematic experience. Emerging young star Dane DeHaan (The Place Beyond the Pines, Kill Your Darlings, The Amazing Spider-Man 2) portrays Trip, a young roadie sent on an urgent mission during Metallica's roaring live set in front of a sold-out arena audience.
Metallica Through The Never is written and directed by Nimród Antal and produced by Charlotte Huggins (Journey to the Center of the Earth). The film was released by Picture house in North America on September 27, 2013, exclusively in over 300 IMAX® 3-D theaters, and expanded into additional theaters on October 4, 2013.
Recorded live at Rexell Place, Edmonton, Alberta on August 17 & 18, 2012 and at Rogers Arena, Vancouver, British Columbia on August 24, 25 and 27, 2012, the soundtrack consists of 15 classic Metallica songs - from their early work (Hit The Lights) to the more recent (Cyanide).
In true Metallica concrert tradition, the album kicks off with Ennio Morricone's The Ecstasy of Gold from the film, The Good The Bad, And The Ugly.
Metallica is easily one of the best, most influential heavy metal band of the '80s. Responsible for bringing the genre back to Earth, the bandmates looked and talked like they were from the street, shunning the usual rockstar games of metal musicians during the early '80s. They expanded the limits of thrash, using speed and volume not for their own sake, but to enhance their intricately structured compositions.LP 1

I Just Wasn't Made For These Times (Awaiting Repress)Along with The Beach Boys, the legendary Brian Wilson, the rock and roll genius and ambassador of time honored classic rock and popular song, invented and helped shape the California sound for the entire world to enjoy for over 50 years. His distinct vision and musical imagery for The Beach Boys truly made them one of the first rock bands in history to sell multi-platinum and gold albums to millions of fans around the globe.
In 1996, Brian Wilson and long-time admirer superstar producer Don Was collaborated on what was to become a much applauded project in Wilsons long time solo career. Pre-dating his own Smile album release by several years, I Just Wasnt Made For These Times was a soundtrack to the critically acclaimed documentary which went on to receive several Emmy and Sundance nominations during the films initial run at the theater and on the Disney Channel.
Organically recorded with its minimalistic approach, Don Was reached for and delivered the soulful side of Brian Wilson. For this masterwork, Brian performs a number of his classic Beach Boys hits like The Warmth Of The Sun, Do It Again (featuring daughters Carnie and Wendy Wilson) and album track treasures like Meant For You from Friends, Til I Die from Surfs Up and of course the Pet Sounds classic Caroline, No.
For this album, Brian Wilson also included some of his later solo hits like Love And Mercy, Melt Away and a very rare home studio demo of Still I Dream Of It, plus even more Beach Boys classics like This Whole World from Sunflower.
In an effort to continually offer the consummate music fan with the greatest recordings of all time, Friday Music proudly presents for the first time ever on 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl, Brian Wilsons classic masterpiece I Just Wasnt Made For These Times.
Impeccably mastered from the original MCA Records tapes by long time Beach Boy friend and associate Joe Reagoso at Friday Music Studios with Kevin Gray, I Just Wasnt Made For These Times is a brilliant recording for the audiophile vinyl domain.
In addition to the wonderful music contained on this stunning release, to celebrate this limited edition album, Friday Music is also including a wonderful gatefold cover which features the original artwork elements from the compact disc release, rare photographs, as well as Don Was' recollections and Brian Wilsons special notes from the original artwork.1. Predator: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Out Of Stock)Pressed On Green And Brown Camo Vinyl
Limited To 1300 Copies
Sound Taken From Intrada's 2012 Complete And Definitive Edition Of The Score
Alan Silvestri's masterful score to Predator has been one of the most sought-after action film soundtracks of all time, sparking no less than three limited-edition CD releases that all successively sold out in short order. And it's little wonder; fresh from back-to-back triumphs with Romancing the Stone and Back to the Future, Silvestri employs a full orchestra, occasional, deft electronic touches, and - most of all - bruising percussion to fashion a score every bit as muscular and hard-hitting as the film itself. Among the truly inspired touches are the eerie, descending strings as the Predator descends to earth, the propulsive military march that introduces the commando team, and the simple trumpet fanfare in He's My Friend that laments the loss of a fallen comrade. Yet, because the film came out in the late-80s during the premature death of vinyl, Predator has NEVER been released on LP till now.
Real Gone is proud to present Alan Silvestri's score to Predator in a double-LP set featuring newly commissioned, custom front cover art by Rafa Wechterowicz that captures the Predator in all its ugly mother******ness, with additional stills from the production decorating the gatefold package. The sound to our release is taken from Intrada's 2012 complete and definitive edition of the score, and it comes on green and brown camo vinyl limited to 1300 copies.
