    Livin' In Exile

The band is called Blood for Blood, the album is called Livin' In Exile, they represent the East Coast and the release is on Victory. Without even listening to a note on this record, you already know what it's going to sound like. But for all those with their head in the clouds: hardcore in that metallic chugga-chugga sort of way with some hits of OI! and a blatant Slapshot influence -they're both from Boston after all. But what makes this stand out is a lack of cheesiness, testosterone -well, maybe a little bit- and bone headed lyrics. Even a Motorhead cover of Ace of Spades, but like they needed it to impress all the Victory Record followers.

    Orgasmatron

Orgasmatron is the only full Motörhead album to feature Pete Gill on the drums, although he also played on the four new tracks recorded for the 1984 No Remorse compilation album. The album's working title was Ridin' with the Driver and later changed to Orgasmatron, it was too late for Joe Petagno to change the cover art and the train design was used. It features some of Motörhead's heaviest songs (Orgasmatron and Deaf Forever) and it is the album (along with No Remorse) that got Motörhead back on track after the critically-acclaimed but commercially unsuccessful 1983 album Another Perfect Day. The album reached number 21 in the UK charts. The song Orgasmatron was re-recorded in 2000 and was available as an Internet download under the name Orgasmatron 2000. It was later included on the band's 2003 five-disc box-set Stone Deaf Forever!

To The Death 84 (Awaiting Repress)

Voivod originally formed in 1983, with a weird hybrid of thrash metal and punk, a sound that made them stand out as a unique band from the beginning. Still together after almost 30 years, having made more than a dozen albums and toured the world, the Canadian group reaches back to the beginning of their career for their first Alternative Tentacles release.

Voivod began as four friends who met in high school and decided to get together to play some heavy music. Growing up in Northern Quebec in an aluminum factory area called Saguenay (which they dubbed Morgoth Land), they shared a liking of Venom, Motörhead, Tank, Discharge and GBH, as well as obscure prog and krautrock bands like Van Der Graaf Generator, Faust and Can. They were scared of the threat of a nuclear war and Reagan-era concepts such as the Strategic Defense Initiative, and had a dystopian view of the future.

To the Death 84 is 70 minutes of loud, blistering metal/punk. Recorded live in the bands jam space in January of 1984 with an old tape recorder and a couple of microphones, it nonetheless sounds great and hits as hard today as it did back then. This demo tape was sent to all the fanzines the band knew of at the time, and has circulated among collectors for years. The lineup for these recordings was Snake (Denis BÉlanger) on lead vocals, Piggy (Denis DAmour) on guitar, Blacky (Jean-Yves ThÉriault) on bass and Away (Michel Langevin) on drums. The track listing includes songs from War and Pain, their debut album, and six others, including a Mercyful Fate cover and two Venom covers.

    Animal Mother

Visionary metal cult known as TODAY IS THE DAY prepares to assault the masses with their tenth full-length album, Animal Mother.

As always, the dejected and vengeful hymns TODAY IS THE DAY delivers with their latest opus are among the most scathing passages of audio one will experience, as Animal Mother unloads just short of a solid hour of pure anguish. The band's lineup features the rhythm section of bassist Sean Conkling (Regression, Burn Your Halo, Sprawl) and drummer Jeff Lohrber (Enabler, ex-Harlots), fronted by cult leader, founding guitarist/vocalist Steve Austin. Through fifteen diversified attacks, Animal Mother's wrath recalls elements of several seminal TITD albums, merging the dementia of Temple Of The Morning Star with the blazing delivery of In The Eyes Of God, yet several acoustic and more melodic angles elevate the LP's material to entirely different dimensions. Pain and hate are blatantly abundant in Austin's seething and venomous lyrical tirades and emotional outcries. The Animal Mother recordingsessions took place at the notorious architect's own Austin Enterprises in the deeply wooded Maine wilderness this brutal past Winter, the material fully produced and mastered by Austin. The cover art for Animal Mother was created by Samantha Muljat.

For two and-a-half decades, TODAY IS THE DAY has woven Steve Austin's prophetic observations and noise-soaked chaos through a psychedelic, unique and unmatched battery of heavy styles. The outfit has spawned an incredible discography, forging their way to the forefront of Amphetamine Reptile, Relapse, Blackmarket Activities and many others. The band has toured with countless acts including Motörhead, Morbid Angel, Helmet, Neurosis, The Melvins, Napalm Death, Coalesce, Unsane and Eyehategod. Additionally, Steve Austin has produced nearly all of TITD's releases, as well as groundbreaking albums for Lamb Of God, Converge, Deadguy and many others.

Ugly Kid Joe is an American rock band from Isla Vista, California, formed in 1990. The band's name spoofs that of another band, Pretty Boy Floyd. Ugly Kid Joe's sound includes a range of styles, including rock, hard rock, funk metal and heavy metal. To date, Ugly Kid Joe have released three full length albums, two compilation albums and two EPs. Their best-selling records are As Ugly as They Wanna Be (1991) and America's Least Wanted (1992), which were both certified double platinum by the RIAA; the former is notable for being the first EP to go platinum. The band broke up in 1997, but announced a reunion in 2010.

Klaus Eichstadt stated in the December 2009 issue of the German edition of the music magazine Metal Hammer, that the members of Ugly Kid Joe were planning to reunite in summer 2010, although did not specify whether their intent was to produce a new album or simply to perform together. However, rumors of a reunion were confirmed on their MySpace page on May 27, 2010.
In connection with the reunion the band released an EP, mainly sold during their concerts. This worked out well - the band decided to continue. In 2015 the band got together again to record a new studio album - the original lineup along with the live guitar player and drummer.

The Headless Ritual (Out of Stock)

Among the early breed of US death metal pioneers, Autopsy formed in 1987 in San Francisco and released four albums on Peaceville Records. Beginning with the classic debut 'Severed Survival' in 1989, they disbanded in 1995 with members going on to form Abscess. Autopsy triumphantly and officially returned from the grave after a 15 year
hiatus with the 2010 EP, 'The Tomb Within', followed by the release of the band's widely acclaimed fifth studio album, 'Macabre Eternal' in 2011, which further cemented the legacy of this legendary act.

2013 sees Autopsy return more sinister and rotten-to-the-core than ever with their new studio opus of horror and all-out madness, 'The Headless Ritual'; featuring the returning quartet of Chris Reifert, Eric Cutler, Danny Coralles, and Joe Trevisano. 'The Headless Ritual' is a relentless monster of violent and brutal death metal mastery delivered in the unmistakable Autopsy style of chaotic riffing, insane solos and doom-filled interludes, all served with the band's unhinged brand of vocal sickness.
The album was recorded and mixed April 2013 at Fantasy Studios in California with Adam Munoz, and features cover artwork by renowned artist Joe Petagno (Motörhead, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin).

Autopsy notably features drummer Chris Reifert, who began his recording career with US metal greats, Death, before taking on the unusual duty of handling drums and vocals for Autopsy. Autopsy has influenced a whole generation of extreme metal bands, from Entombed and Dismember to Darkthrone, and is among the biggest and most respected names in the genre's history.

Too Old Too Cold (Out of Stock)

Darkthrone originally formed in the late 80's as a thrash/death metal act & progressed through a period technical death and doom metal experimentation to become legends of the black metal world & one of the leading bands of the Norwegian scene.

The 'Too Old Too Cold' EP had its original release at the dawn of 2006 and acted as a precursor to the band's triumphant Peaceville comeback album, the revelatory black and roll release, 'The Cult is Alive'. As a showcase for this sleek new incarnation of Darkthrone, and with the band firmly back in control of their sound courtesy of their new Necrohell 2 Studio set-up, 'Too Old Too Cold' showed that the band was here to stay, and lead the way. Commenting back then, Fenriz defined the shift in style as "probably something like MOTORHEAD meeting HELLHAMMER on a CRUST PUNK/ NECROTHRASH gig in '85".

Featuring one of the undeniable highlights of 'The Cult is Alive', the catchy and soaring 'Too Old Too Cold' with its razor-sharp riffs begins proceedings here, followed by the exclusive track 'High on Cold War', featuring a guest appearance by Enslaved's Grutle Kjellson on vocals. Also featured is an alternate rendition of 'Graveyard Slut' plus an unexpected yet perfectly suited cover version of Siouxsie and the Banshees' 'Love in a Void'. This edition includes the bonus track 'Bad Attitude', originally by US punk rockers, Testors.
