    KE*A*H** (Psalm 69)

Ministry's 1992 album, Psalm 69 is arguably one of the most important and influential industrial metal albums in music history. Its pounding electric beats, crushing metal guitar riffs and well-placed samples make tracks like N.W.O, Justifix Psalm 69 and Jesus Built My Hotrod sound absolutely collosal and the album's success helped bring industrial metal to the mainstream.

Animositisomina is the eighth studio album by industrial metal band Ministry, originally released in 2003. It is notable for being the last album with Paul Barker, as well as being the last by Ministry to play in their traditional industrial metal style before switching to a more thrash-oriented style with their next album, Houses of the MolÉ. This was hailed as an excellent return to form, It's much more industrial and clubby than Psalm 69 and Houses of the Mole, but still packs quite a punch. It has awesome atmosphere throughout and features more variety than most of their efforts.

Filth Pig is the sixth studio album by industrial metal band Ministry. Originally released in 1996, the title was allegedly derived from a statement made in the British Houses of Parliament, where bandleader Jourgensen was described as a filthy pig by MP Teddy Taylor.

For Filth Pig, Ministry stripped all synthesizers and most samples from their style and made the music almost entirely with ultra-noisy guitars, heavy bass, and real drums. The songs were played mostly at slower tempos than the very fast ones that were used for the compositions on their previous three LPs, giving it an almost Doom Metal feel. Filth Pig was supported with the singles/videos Reload, The Fall, Lay Lady Lay ( a cover of Bob Dylan's old country-tinged hit) and Brick Windows.

The first pressing of the Music On Vinyl reissue is available as limited edition of 1500 copies on orange/yellow vinyl.

In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up (Live)

American industrial metal band Ministry was founded by lead singer Al Jourgensen in 1981. Originally a new wave synthpop outfit, Ministry changed its style to become one of the pioneers of industrial metal in the mid-80s.

In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up is a live album by the band. The album was originally released in 1990 and contains the live show performed in Merillville on February 22, 1990.

The album is six songs long, but delivers big time for each of them. The energy, the maniacal chaos and an order under the surface of this chaos.

Onstage, the founding stars of Chicago's industrial-noise movement come on like a battalion of bare-knuckle soldiers. In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up, a six-track live set features mad-dog bandleader Al Jourgensen barking over a barrage of rock noise synchronized to hammering rhythms. Ferocious fun if you can stand it. - Entertainment Weekly

In 2005 In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up was ranked number 328 in Rock Hard magazine's book of The 500 Greatest Rock & Metal Albums of All Time.

    Land Of Rape And Honey

Ministry successfully combined industrial Heavy Metal and electronic beats with a punk attitude. The Land Of Rape And Honey was their breakthrough album released in 1988, which laid the foundation for a series of successful 'Tech Metal' albums that appealed to alternative audiences all over the globe. Drawing heavy on the sampler, synthesized sounds and thick layers of distorted guitars, this group preceded highly successful acts such as Fear Factory and Nine Inch Nails. Highlights on The Land Of Rape And Honey include the songs Stigmata, The Missing and Flashback - all examples of the band's distinctive signature sound.

    Dark Side Of The Spoon

Available On Vinyl For The First Time

Dark Side Of The Spoon is the seventh studio album by Industrial Metal band Ministry, released in 1999. The song Bad Blood was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2000.

There are two theories behind the title (which occurs in the lyrics of the opening track), the first being a simple play on words, referencing Pink Floyd's record The Dark Side Of The Moon. The second is a reference to the blackened or dark side of a spoon when heated to dissolve heroin, as the band suffered from addiction to said substance at the time.

The album's cover, which features a naked fat woman sitting in front of a black board with I will be god written numerous times gained controversy and was banned from Kmart. The woman and the words on the blackboard were later airbrushed out.

Their fourth album The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste (1989) followed up on their successful effort The Land Of Rape And Honey. When released, the album cracked the Billboard Top 200. It's proof that the fanbase of these guitar heavy synth slingers is quite sizeable, to say the least.

    With Sympathy

With Sympathy is the debut album by Ministry released in 1983, with Ministry's members at the time being Alain Jourgensen and Stephen George.

The album could be considered more Synth Pop and New Wave than the harder Industrial Heavy Metal style the band developed later on albums like Twitch and The Land Of Rape And Honey. Jourgensen's fake English accent was an homage to the new wave bands he loved at the time.

1988's The Land Of Rape And Honey, Ministry's third studio LP, continued the band's stylistic journey towards a sound that was as loud, abrasive, heavy and dark as the lyrics. The mix of searing metal riffs, throbbing hardcore punk, industrial dance grooves, and diverse samples resulted a sonic arsenal of aggression and helped to redefine the sound of industrial music.

    Sieg Howdy!

Fucking AWESOME. Jello and the Melvins #2. Buy It.
What, you need more reasons? Jello Biafra and the Melvins are musical pranksters united for a common cause - to detonate your brain with some of the most twisted rock anthems ever crafted!

Starting off album #2 with a heavier-than-life version of the Alice Cooper cult classic, Halo of Flies, an intricate tune that alternately slithers and crushes, the band then proceed to treat us to a completely different extended take of their tune The Lighter Side of Global Terrorism (Jello's Hawkwind influence showed through when he asked the Melvins to create a take on the song similar to their cover of Youth of America by The Wipers). With the first two harrowing tracks clocking in at over fifteen minutes -this is not what you'd expect from a Jello record - steering into a more Melvinoid direction, but remaining distinctly separate from anything easily definable - far from a mishmash or outtakes collection, even the Jelvins were surprised at how well Sieg Howdy! flowed as an album.

Through the course of the album the band (yes, they sound like a proper band, not a project!) erupts with colors of its respective players in turns. Biafra's spleen-venting rants Voted off the Island and Those Dumb Punk Kids (Will Buy Anything) are amongst his most acerbic (not to mention insightful!), and the Melvins' cathartic drum and guitar workouts pummel brilliantly through Lessons in What Not to Become and the septic all bass-chug of Kevin Rutmanis (making his final appearance on vinyl with the Melvins on this album) and Buzzo that anchors Wholly Buy Bull.

Of course, the cherry on top is Jello and the lads ripping through a new, updated version of Kalifornia Über Alles - as sung by the GropenfÜhrer himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger! With Jello's unmistakable wit and even more distinctive punk-rock croon fully intact, it's a breath of fresh air to hear a live Jello classic sound the way it was intended to for a change!

The album's remaining remixed tracks serve to deepen the impression that what has been created throughout the course of this collaboration is the work of a band - A band whose songs have enough depth to remain interesting in new and sonic environs. Dalek's chilling reworking of Dawn of the Locusts brings the song into a completely different light, and Al Jourgensen's (Ministry) take on Enchanted Thoughtfist is so cold and almost new-wave-y that it works brilliantly. The tone of the track reaches waaay back into the Ministry back catalog, surprising even Al himself! Then the fresh new tag-team Deaf Nephews (Dale Crover and Toshi, the album's engineer) reshape Caped Crusader into a disturbing cartoon version of itself to round out the record. The fact that these songs are open to this kind of interpretation, and that these interpretations work so well is a testament to the quality with which they were crafted in the first place.

Once again, the band is joined by Adam Jones from Tool on guitar for over half the tracks, and this time around, the stunning artwork is provided by none other than Camille Rose Garcia! 27 minutes of new and never before heard Jello Biafra and the Melvins and 17 minutes of remixed weirdness from the group's friends has created a record that surpasses its predecessor in sheer sonic audacity and is an extremely satisfying listen in its own right. Whether you missed the boat the first time around, or you couldn't get enough of Never Breathe What You Can't See, it's time to stand up, put your right hand over your heart, extend that middle finger, and say it loud - say it proud - SEIG HOWDY!

New Project For Ministry Mainman, Al Jourgensen

Limited Edition Of 300 For The U.S.

    Pressed On 140 Gram Vinyl

Ministry mainman Al Jourgensen's new project, Surgical Meth Machine releases a self-titled debut along with long-time collaborator and engineer/producer, Sammy D'Ambruoso. The record was recorded primarily at Jourgensen's home studio in Burbank, California.

In an October 2015 interview with In The Loop magazine, Jourgensen stated about how the idea for Surgical Meth Machine came about: You know, [guitarist] Mikey [Scaccia] died a couple of years ago, from Ministry, and I just figured, like, nah, it's time to quit. I don't want to have John Bonham's kid playing drums for us and having replacement parts forever; that's just not my scene. So I just figured, 'All right, let's stop this. Let's do some other stuff.' And not only that. I found that it was really unburdensome to not have the MINISTRY moniker or expectations and just do something like whatever the fuck we want. I mean, the band's name is Surgical Meth Machine. It's not like we're gonna be on Top 40 radio and on 'The Voice' and 'American Idol'. [Laughs]

He continued: I understand it's not a real commercial project for us, it's not gonna put bank in my wallet, but it was a lot of fun to do, in that sense - of just not having the constraints of the expectations of what you've done for twenty years. So this is... It's kind of new stuff. It's pretty cool. It sounds like kind of Ministry, but it's a different level. It's like I literally just put my foot on the gas pedal for this record.

According to Jourgensen, the sound of Surgical Meth Machine's debut release leans heavily on the aggressive side, but fans can also expect to hear a few surprises. There's a couple of real poppy things on there, which brings me full circle, because, literally, I don't give a fuck anymore, he said. So I'm actually almost acknowledging that first horrible pop record I did in 1983. I'm crooning on some songs, I've got some pop songs on there, and then there's just brutal assault for the rest of it. It's a very dichotomous record, but it's me, and I'm acknowledging everything that's been me through, like, the last 35 years. Let's just throw my balls on the table and hope somebody doesn't have a meat cleaver running.

As far as the future of Ministry, Jourgensen has said in recent interviews that there will be no more MINISTRY albums, making 2013's »From Beer To Eternity« the band's swan song following Scaccia's death.

Mikey died during the recording, Al told the Illinois Entertainer. He just got finished with his last parts, went back to Dallas to play a show with Rigor Mortis and I got the call two days later that he was dead. I had to mix the record with his death still fresh in my mind, so the final playback on that one was extra special, and that album to me is very special.

Music by Roland Barker (Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Blackouts) and Bill Rieflin (Ministry, King Crimson, Blackouts)

Remastered From The Original 24-Track Recordings

Orpheus' journey to the underworld is reworked as a post-apocalyptic skate rock-opera in this 1989 cult classic. The mortal world faces imminent destruction when Hades unleashes an evil television signal that sublimates and kills its viewers. These hypnotic broadcasts from the EUTHANASIA BROADCAST NETWORK are seducing the masses - except skateboard-guitarist Orpheus and his band of "SHREDDERS" who can see through this nefarious scheme. To save the world and his kidnapped wife Orpheus must penetrate the world of the dead and free the television airwaves. Armed with a futuristic guitar and a skateboard from hell, Orpheus storms onto the EBN stage to liberate the airwaves and rescue his wife.

Shredder Orpheus features many Seattle performance luminaries including Seattle poet/performance artist Steven Jesse Bernstein (Sub Pop), and Robert McGinley in the title role. The 17 music cues weave together a blend of Barker's hypnotic synthesizer compositions with blistering skate rock tunes featuring virtuosic guitar work by Dennis Rea and precision percussion and bass by Rieflin and Amy Denio.

    Pretty Hate Machine

As a young musician in Cleveland, Ohio, Trent Reznor took a job at a local recording studio and employed unused studio time to develop his own material. The nascent album was later recorded with his favorite producers including Flood/Mark Ellis (U2, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey), John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil), Adrian Sherwood (Ministry, Cabaret Voltaire) and Keith LeBlanc (Tackhead).

The result was the first Nine Inch Nails album, 1989's Pretty Hate Machine. All songs were written, arranged, programmed and performed by Reznor. The album features the breakthrough singles Sin, Down In It and Head Like A Hole and ultimately sold over 3 million copies, reaching Triple Platinum sales status.=

    Opus Eponymous

GHOST is the name of a devil worshipping ministry, that in order to spread their unholy gospels and, furthermore, trick mankind into believing that the end is ultimately a good thing, have decided to use the ever so popular rock music medium as a way to achieve their ends.

Standing motionless and anonymous beneath the painted faces, hoods and robes which their sect demand, the six nameless ghouls of Ghost deliver litanies of sexually pulsating heavy rock music and romantic lyrics, that glorify and glamorise the disgusting and sacrilegious, with the simple intention to communicate a message of pure evil via the most effective device they can find - entertainment.

In May 2010 Ghost were contracted to a UK based gramophone company called Rise Above Ltd, who swore an oath stating that they will assist the group in the task of spreading their musical blasphemies through formats such as Compact Discs, Long Playing Vinyl Records and Digital Downloading.

The first full length Ghost album Opus Eponymous will be released in October 2010 and it is understood and agreed that Rise Above Ltd will invest money in areas such as magazine advertising and retail marketing and will employ the services of music publicity specialists in order to expose the music of Ghost to the wider public.

Specific attention will be paid to targeting people (research suggests these are most likely to be adolescents) who have a void in their life, perhaps caused by some form of emotional trauma or upset, that can be filled by the music and philosophies of Ghost. In time, these easily manipulated children will come to share the views and goals of the Ghost sect and can prepare their own plans for the downfall of humanity....

    Pretty Hate Machine (2010 Remaster)

Fans can now revisit the conception of Nine Inch Nails. Trent Reznor's Null Corporation has teamed up with UMe/The Bicycle Music Company to release Pretty Hate Machine: 2010 Remaster on 12/7/2010. After completing the score for David Fincher's The Social Network, Reznor oversaw the digital remastering of Pretty Hate Machine from the newly unearthed original tapes with engineer Tom Baker (whose NIN credits include The Downward Spiral, Broken, The Fragile, With Teeth and Ghosts). This remastered version includes an eleventh track, a cover of Queen's Get Down Make Love, originally the B-side to the Sin single and produced by Al Jourgensen. Rob Sheridan, NIN's longtime art director, has also re-imagined the packaging of Pretty Hate Machine under Reznor's supervision.

As a young musician in Cleveland, Ohia, Reznor took a job at a local recording studio and employed unused studio time to develop his own material. The nascent album was later recorded with his favorite producers including Flood/Mark Ellis (U2, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey), John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil), Adrian Sherwood (Ministry, Cabaret Voltaire) and Keith LeBlanc (Trackhead). The result was the first Nine Inch Nails album, 1989's Pretty Hate Machine. All songs were written, arranged, programmed and performed by Reznor. The album featured the breakthrough singles Sin, Down In It and Head Like A Hole, and ultimately sold over 3 million copies, reaching Triple Platinum sales status. In the wake of the album's inital underground success, NIN soon developed a reputation as one of the best live acts in rock and jointed the inaugural Lollapalooza tour in 1991. NIN have since sold more than 18 million albums, collected Grammy Awards and headline arenas, amphitheaters and festivals worldwide.

The Bicycle Music Company acquired the rights to Pretty Hate Machine from a division of Prudential Securities in the spring of 2010. It was Bicycle's intention from the onset to enable Reznor to regain some control of this lost piece of NIN's legacy, resulting in this artist approved 2010 reissue of one of music's most groundbreaking and influential albums. Note: The previous CD version was reissued in 2005 but was not overseen by Reznor and is now out of print.

Reznor is currently working on new music as a member of the group How To Destroy Angels, continuing his Nine Inch Nails efforts and composing for future film score projects.

    Music From Republik Der Wolfe

Alexander Hacke (EinstÜrzende Neubauten / Crime &
The City Solution), Mick Harvey (co-founder of
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds), Danielle de Picciotto
( Crime & The City Solution) and Paul Wallfisch (musical
director at the Theater Dortmund) have collaborated - for
the first time - as The Ministry Of Wolves.

Their debut album, Music From Republik der Wölfe
has been created as a soundtrack to 'Republik der Wölfe'
a theatre production directed by Claudia Bauer, based on
the writings of the Brothers Grimm. These morality tales
and warnings are as dark as you remember them from
childhood. In the track, 'Rumpelstiltskin' the characters
are more human than they first seem, showing an aspect
of ourselves we might prefer to ignore: "He is a monster
of despair. He is all decay." The show, with live music
from The Ministry Of Wolves, premiered at Theater
Dortmund in Germany on February 15th 2014.

Following the album release, The Ministry Of Wolves
will be on tour in Europe in the Spring of 2014.
