    Cope (Awaiting Repress)

Manchester Orchestra is an American indie rock band from Atlanta, GA, formed in 2004. The group has released serveral EPs and three studio albums:
'I'm Like a Virgin Losing a Child' (2006), 'Mean Everything to Nothing' (2009) and 'Simple Match' (2011).

Cope, to me, means getting by. It means letting go, and being OK with being OK, says Manchester Orchestra's Andy Hull. The Atlanta band found itself
at a crossroads as they approached making their fourth studio album -- in between labels, uncertain of Manchester Orchestra's future for the first time
since Hull started the band almost a decade ago. He was barely finished with high school back then, and now Hull and his bandmates were transitioning
into the adult reality that shit happens. They'd learned a bit about letting go themselves.

So Manchester Orchestra regrouped. They built a studio with their own hands, and spent month after month workshopping new tunes, writing and
demoing together in a room -- a process that was completely new for them. The change did them good.

For their previous LP, 2011's 'Simple Math', experimentation had been the goal. Hull conceived an epic, memoiristic concept album that featured
elaborate arrangements including a string section and children's choir. Their highest charting album to date, 'Simple Math' also earned widespread critical
acclaim, with American Songwriter noting They've perfected the balance of gorgeous songwriting and rabid musicianship, so we can't wait to see what
    they do next.

For each of their first three albums, Manchester Orchestra had worked with producers Dan Hannon and Joe Chicarelli in established studios in Nashville
and Atlanta. But they wanted to try something different this time. The band bought a house in Atlanta where some of them had previously lived as
roomates, and spent money they'd saved to gut, renovate and soundproof the whole building, turning it into the studio where they would record COPE.
They eventually did hire John Agnello (Dinosaur, Jr., Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth) to mix COPE.

    Melophobia

Cage The Elephant's highly anticipated forthcoming third studio album, entitled 'Melophobia', is released via RCA Records. The album was recorded in Nashville, TN and reunites the band with producer Jay Joyce who produced the group's prior two releases.

This album has tested us as individuals and as a collective. We're five people fighting for our own ideologies of good music - we clash stylistically and sometimes even personally, said drummer Jared Champion. The studio is the place where we push all of those individual creative emotions together and smash them to the dispersion point until they explode like a Timebomb. With the explosion arrives something beautiful and in the end, when you listen back and goose bumps prick your skin like the first few drops of a summer rainfall on searing concrete, you know that you and your band of brothers have created something substantial. Conquering our melophobia is what drives us.

The new album is the follow up to 2011's acclaimed sophomore album Thank You Happy Birthday, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart and has sold over 250,000 copies to date. Rolling Stone, New York Times, LA Times, USA Today, and Entertainment Weekly praised the release as one of the best rock albums of the year. The album also spawned the hit single Shake Me Down which spent six weeks at #1 at Alternative radio. Their acclaimed self-titled debut album was released in 2009 and has sold over 550,000 copies to date. The album remained on the Billboard 200 Chart for an astounding 73 consecutive weeks and produced three Top 5 singles at Alternative Radio, including the massive hit Ain't No Rest For The Wicked. In additional to numerous Sold Out headline runs, Cage The Elephant has toured with Black Keys, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, Stone Temple Pilots, Foals, Silversun Pickups, Manchester Orchestra, and many more.

Exclusive 7" Vinyl Record Featuring Rare Unreleased B-Sides From Manchester Orchestra And Minus The Bear

Ryan is one of the greatest photographers working today." - Ben Gibbard (Death Cab For Cutie)

"Ryan is an exceptional talent." - Hayley Williams (Paramore)

Celebrated rock photographer Ryan Russell has announced plans to release his first travel photography book, "Continental Obscura: From Birmingham to Bellingham," via No Sleep Records.

Known best for his ability to brilliantly capture timeless photos of some of rock's biggest acts, from Death Cab For Cutie and Against Me! to Paramore and Blink-182, Russell recently tackled a different subject entirely for "Continental Obscura: From Birmingham to Bellingham." In the summer of 2013 he embarked on a life-changing, cross-country journey, moving from his native city of Birmingham, AL to the Pacific Northwest town of Bellingham, WA. Russell documented his trip, capturing the back roads, ghost towns, national parks and historical sites of America with stunning photos of everything he saw.

"Continental Obscura: From Birmingham to Bellingham" will also include an exclusive 7" vinyl record featuring rare unreleased B-sides from Manchester Orchestra and Minus the Bear, two bands that Russell has shot extensively over the last several years.

Ryan is one of those rare photographers that can truly put you at ease while he takes superb and entirely honest photos," says Cory Murchy of Minus the Bear. "A master at capturing the most fleeting and candid of moments, we always look forward to working with him so we were extremely honored to be asked to be apart of this project.

    Garden Window

Carrying the weight of the luminance and spacy textures from their 2009 EP, The Death of Day, Atlanta, Ga foursome O'Brother have grown into sounds of scorching heaviness and punctuated melodic interruptions that act as puzzles in-between the groaning feedback of Garden Window, the band's debut full length. With Garden Window displaying more density, the songs themselves bask in longer time frames and dynamic intensity the whole way out. Close friends Andy Hull and Robert McDowell of Manchester Orchestra stepped in as producers for Garden Window.

    Nobody Likes A Quitter

All Get Out will release their second full-length studio album, Nobody Likes A Quitter, via Bad Timing Records.

The Texas-by-way-of-South Carolina band, led by frontman Nathan Hussey, is in the middle of a huge spike in creativity. The first result of this spike was last year's Movement EP, a five-song effort that will look like a warm-up round in the near future. Nobody Likes A Quitter is All Get Out's most dynamic and impressive work yet, following Hussey as he turns his focus inward and begins to become more fully aware of who he is.

Nobody Likes A Quitter was produced and co-written by Manchester Orchestra's Andy Hull and Robert McDowell, and proves to be a more nuanced and restrained affair than the aggression of 2011's The Season and Movement - but trust us when we say it's no less vulnerable or emotionally exhausting.

    Disillusion

O'Brother return with their sophomore studio album Disillusion, The band ventured out of their hometown of Atlanta, GA to the bitter cold of Long Island this past winter to hole up in the studio with engineer/producer Mike Sapone (Brand New, Public Enemy, Daytrader). The result is a heavier, refined follow-up to the band's critically acclaimed 2012 debut Garden Window which the Wall Street Journal's Jim Fusilli described as, " a brutalizing blend of
industrial rock, alt-metal and metal featuring a three-guitar attack ." In addition the album
had both Guitar World and Decibel comparing them to Radiohead and the Melvins and Consequence of Sound threw in Queens of the Stone Age and Tool comparisons, summing things up with " Garden Window feels really fucking loud, and does this really fucking well ."

After wrapping things in the studio, the band hit the road this spring with the legendary Alice In Chains for a stint of support dates and along the way, appeared at a number of festivals including
Rock on the Range and Rocklahoma. In the past three years, they have been on countless national tours, sharing the stage with Manchester Orchestra, The Dear Hunter, Cage the Elephant, Alice In Chains, Thrice, Caspian, and Circa Survive along with a handful of headlining tours. O'Brother is extremely excited to continue on the festival tip by making their first ever appearance at Lollapalooza in Chicago this August just weeks before Disillusion is set to drop.

    Bloodlines

In their short two-year existence, Head North have already shown their ability to challenge themselves and elevate their sound. After self-releasing a championed pop-punk EP with Scrapbook Minds in 2014, the band headed out on a DIY tour with A Will Away, and the bands released a split together that following summer. The two songs Head North deliver on the split bring them another step above prototypical pop-punk. Trading the hardcore-tinged guitars of their first EP for a smoother sound, the band swings between the pop-punk fury of The Story So Far and the dynamic songwriting prowess of Manchester Orchestra. Hailing from Buffalo, NY, Head North has used their indie-influenced pop-punk to break out of the local scene and demand the attention of a national audience. Packing in sentiments as big as their sound, the band hits home with walls of guitars lines, frenetic punk rock drums and an emotional complexity behind their lyrics. Singer Brent Martone hits raspy notes of anger and sadness, knowing when to shriek and when to soften, adding a layer of versatile energy to back up his passion. The band's growth will only become more apparent on an upcoming six-song EP, which will be released via Bad Timing Records in the spring of 2015. With two releases and a full U.S. tour under their belt, 2014 was the first Year of Head North. Their partnership with Bad Timing Records, alongside a spring tour with Have Mercy, hint that 2015 will be another huge step forward for this young and passionate band.

    About Last Night

Sleeper Agent today announced their highly anticipated second album, entitled About Last Night, will be released on RCA Records / Mom & Pop.

"About Last Night is the product of countless hours spent writing, rewriting, recording, hoping, toiling, questioning, and ultimately pushing ourselves as a band as far as we could go," said Sleeper Agent's Alex Kandel. "It's a record that I can hear our band's history in every heartbreak, every victory, every night spent in the van, every audience we've been in front of are woven into the melodies and fabric of the songs."

About Last Night was born after principal songwriter Tony Smith started scribbling together song skeletons on tour. The group fleshed out those compositions after decamping their tour bus and shacking up together in a log cabin in Middle of Nowhere, East Kentucky. Instead of killing each other in their secluded camp, they watched The Godfather, cooked family dinners, and emerged five days later with 10 solid tracks. The songs were recorded in Nashville and Charleston with producers Jay Joyce and Eric Bass. About Last Night is the follow up to their 2011 debut Celabrasion.

About Last Night will follow up Sleeper Agent's heralded debut album Celabrasion, which was released by Mom + Pop in 2011 and immediately garnered the affectionate attention of the blogosphere straight to the top of the national music media - leading to prominent features on the pages on SPIN, Rolling Stone, Alternative Press, Guitar World, Los Angeles Times, and many more. Rolling Stone hailed them as a Band To Watch and the group was named the #2 Best New Band in the annual Rolling Stone Reader's Poll. Sleeper Agent also won MTVu's Freshman Award in February 2012 and singer Alex Kandel was one of six artists to be nominated for Rolling Stone's Women Who Rock contest in 2012. The band toured nonstop throughout 2012, sharing the stage with Weezer, Fun., Grouplove, Young The Giant, Ben Kweller, The Joy Formidable, Manchester Orchestra, Circa Survive, Company of Thieves, and more.

Sleeper Agent is Alex Kandel (vocals), Tony Smith (guitar, vocals), Justin Wilson (drums), Lee Williams (bass), Scott Gardner (keys), and Josh Martin (guitar).

    Kids In Love

Love is all you need. It's been said many times and many ways of course, but it's truer now than ever.

When The Mowgli's first landed on the scene, their message of positivity and love resonated with audiences everywhere. The group's 2013 major label debut, Waiting for the Dawn [Photo Finish], debuted at #4 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and yielded the hit "San Francisco". Following its release, the seven-piece-Colin Louis Dieden [vocals, guitar], Katie Jayne Earl [vocals, percussion], Dave Appelbaum [keyboards], Josh Hogan [guitar, vocals], Matthew Di Panni [bass], Spencer Trent [guitar, vocals], and Andy Warren [drums]-performed on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, CONAN, Watch What Happens Live, and more. Between headline tours and runs supporting everybody from Walk The Moon to Manchester Orchestra, they even cut a song for the Relativity Media hit film Earth To Echo. Along the way, their interpretation of love became even clearer, and it defines their sophomore outing, Kids In Love.

"Our first album essentially said, 'What's up everyone? We're The Mowgli's, and we believe love can change the world," explains Katie. "Over the past couple of years, we really came to terms with who we are as a band. With Kids In Love we're exploring the intricacies of love. It's such a broad concept. This time around, we get into intimate love, personal love, as well as universal love. We've found art is the best vehicle to ponder what this really means."

"Before, the concept was painted in very broad strokes," Colin goes on. "Our intention was to start a movement and a culture around what we do. We put all of that under a microscope on this album and talked about personal experiences and stories, the lack of love, and finding it again."

"We've learned so much about the business, ourselves, and this message," adds Josh. "We've become more direct. It's a little wiser."

In order to properly convey that sentiment, the group teamed up with producer Tony Hoffer [The Kooks, Silversun Pickups, Fitz & The Tantrums] in his Los Angeles studio during the summer of 2014. With Hoffer at the helm, they fine-tuned their sound into an elegant amalgam of influences. Additionally, they recorded with prior collaborators Captain Cuts [Smallpools, Tove Lo] - a production team that includes Ryan Rabin of Grouplove, and worked with Matt Radosevich [Walk The Moon, One Direction] on two additional tracks. "We wanted to create songs that we knew we would enjoy playing live, songs we hoped that speak to people's personal experiences with love and life and loss and everything that comes with being a kid - or really anyone - in love," Katie explains.

"We've been on tour incessantly, and this album was really written all over the country," Colin recalls. "It was composed in green rooms, hotels, parking lots, and everywhere in between. I went to Nashville for a week on a whim and tried to learn how to write country music. I was so lucky to work with some of the best in the business. I wanted to bring some of those storytelling elements into the music too. We really grew up, and the songs reflect that journey."

The first released track "Through The Dark" builds from a shimmering acoustic guitar into an unshakable harmony between Josh and Colin. It shines its own kind of musical light.

"Everybody goes through dark times," Josh asserts. "We're trying to put a positive spin on that though, and show you can get through that darkness no matter what."

Colin continues, "In a weird way, it feels like the answer to Waiting for the Dawn. It's a hopeful and encouraging song."

Then, there's the first single "I'm Good." It begins with a sun-soaked clean guitar and resounding percussion before snapping into a delightful refrain that's undeniably unforgettable. You'll feel good after one listen

Elsewhere on the album, "Whatever Forever" is augmented by driving handclaps and a group chorus that proves infectious. Lyrically, it stemmed from some shared ink within the band. "Colin and I both got a tattoo of that phrase a few years ago in a hotel bar during Hurricane Sandy," smiles Josh. "We'd seen it on the wall of a bar, and it felt like the perfect new life motto. We're not worried about anything; we're just going for it."

"That's a personal favorite," concurs Colin. "After one show, I had a girl walk up to me and say, 'I've been dealing with so much and hurting so badly. I adopted 'Whatever Forever' as my mantra. I needed that.' Sometimes, you need to distance yourself from what hurts."

Ultimately, The Mowgli's open up their hearts once more, and the results are nothing short of inspiring. "We just want people to feel good," Katie concludes. "It's a domino effect. If someone leaves a show feeling great, maybe they pay it forward. If we can contribute a little bit of joy, companionship, and happiness, we're doing our part to make the world a little brighter."

"I want them to feel inspired to do something positive," Josh agrees. "It's all about sharing that." Colin leaves off, "I want this to be a positive transformative experience. It's almost like falling in love. When you're in a good mood, you tend to react positively. I hope it adds more positivity and love to the world."

    Sibelius Symphony No 4

Cut from the Original Analogue EMI Master Tapes at Abbey Road Studios!

Born in London of an Italian father (a violinist at La Scala, Milan) and French mother, Sir John Barbirolli, CH (1899-1970), nÉ Giovanni Battista Barbirolli, was an English conductor and cellist. Although a conductor of international standing, succeeding Toscanini as music director of the New York Philharmonic from 1936-43, and having conducted many major orchestras like the Vienna Philarmonic and Berlin Philharmonic, he is remembered above all as conductor of the HallÉ Orchestra in Manchester, which he helped save from dissolution in 1943 and conducted for the rest of his life. Noted for his interpretations of Sibelius, Barbirolli and the HallÉ recorded all the Sibelius symphonies for EMI and these recordings were made just over a year before Barbirolli died.

Cut at Abbey Road Studios from the original stereo analogue master tapes with the Neumann VMS82 lathe fed an analogue pre-cut signal from a specially adapted Studer A80 tape deck with additional 'advance' playback head, making the cut a totally analogue process.

Recorded on 29-30 May and *5 August 1969 at the Kingsway Hall, London. Produced and engineered by the legendary two Christophers: Christopher Bishop and Christopher Parker respectively (*with additional engineer Martin Benge)

In the original April 1970 review of the stereo release, Sibelius expert Robert Layton of the GRAMOPHONE was torn between the contemporaneous Maazel version on Decca and the Barbirolli: ...Sir John views the symphony as a whole as predominantly bleak with dark, shifting colourings whereas Maazel's conception is icy, unremitting and very powerful. Sir John's is the more complex and in some ways more interesting view and he has the advantage of quite superlative recorded sound. In fact this is one of the most vivid and full bodied recordings I have heard from this source and is richer in tone than its Decca rival... this new version can confidently be recommended alongside the Maazel and granted the odd reservation, my own preference is for this splendidly recorded newcomer.
