    6 Feet Beneath The Moon

Six Feet Beneath The Moon is the long-anticipated debut album from Southeast London's King Krule.

Archy Marshall aka King Krule broke out two years ago, at the tender age of 16 with his eponymous
EP released on True Panther. King Krule's sound, a
hypnotic mixture indebted to working class British
song-smiths like Billy Bragg as much as NY No-Wave
and hip hop carries a maturity and depth far beyond
his years. The EP's lead single, "Noose of Jah City"
found a great deal of success on BBC's Radio 1,
and brought Archy praise from Pitchfork, The NY
Times, FADER and numerous other publications. His
music has also won him fans among today's young
music elite - Mac Miller, Frank Ocean and Tyler, The
Creator are all supporters, collaborators and fans.

Six Feet Beneath The Moon takes the potential
evident in the EP and blows it out of the water.
Across 14 tracks Archy expertly weaves incredible
stories of London life, his own relationships and
experiences with the swagger of a street poet, all in his incredibly distinct smoky baritone. The album, recorded mostly near Archy's South London
home with producer Rodaidh McDonnell (The XX,
Savages, How To Dress Well) is stark but incredibly
rich - painting with a palate full of hip hop, jazz, no-wave and poetic influences.

The album shares the electric confidence of some of last decade's most important debuts - Arctic
Monkeys' Whatever People Say I Am, That's What
I'm Not', The Streets' Original Pirate Material and
Dizzee Rascal's Boy In Da Corner. It is somehow
both a perfect summary of a young man's life in a
particular part of London and a universal, deeply
moving and compelling statement. Most importantly,
it is the flag ushering in a new and important musical voice that is sure to be with us for quite some time.

    King Krule

King Krule's (formerly Zoo Kid) second release brings with it, an expansion of vision, both musically and thematically. The connective tissue between these five tracks is still Marshall's stark, direct lyrics, but over the span of the self-titled EP, there is an arresting sonic progression, as his songs open up to become a loose knit meditation and renewal of hope in the face of desperation. Shades of The Streets' plainspoken and observant ramble dance with the heart on sleeve confessions of Billy Bragg. Archy's influences are a patchwork for his voice to lay in, woven from several generations music as divergent as the 80s romantics, jazz, no wave and dub.

The first vocal track 'Bleak Bake', for instance, opens with levitating keyboards and Marshall clearing his throat, before sampled strings and 808 drum 'pooms' swoon in and he sighs. 'The Noose of Jah City' drives the knife in deeper -some of his most intoxicating incantations to date- with Marshall singing of being "suffocated in concrete" over a lushly upholstered backdrop of chiming guitars and shuffling sampled beats. While in the gorgeous 'Portrait in Black and Blue' he unleashes a bounding piece of classic croon. But even though the subject matter may at times be harrowing, the songs themselves are never anything less than exquisitely crafted, possessed of an almost spectral beauty, as epitomised in the shimmering instrumental intro "363N63".

Taken as a whole, the "King Krule" EP is the sound of a young man growing up and attempting to grapple with the realities of the world he inhabits, and a fascinating, brutal journey it is too.

    So It Goes

"Perfect blend of old-school sensibility with modern energy." - Complex

"Ratking unlock noise-rap stunner." - SPIN

"Ratking not what the City expected, but it's exactly what it needs" - REVOLT

"Aggressive, dark, and propulsive." - NPR

Following a busy 2013 that saw them playing shows with acts as diverse
as GZA, Death Grips, King Krule and Trash Talk as well as collaborating
with legendary photographer and lmmaker Ari Marcopoulos, RATKING are
ready to announce their debut album So It Goes. The album nds the group
perfecting the balance between the raw, unbridled energy of their live set
and the warm soulful, golden-era hip hop that the members grew up on,
aided in large part by engineering from Young Guru (Jay-Z, The Diplomats,
Notorious B.I.G.). So It Goes is a portrait of
modern day New York City painted over the course of its 11 tracks.

    Love What Survives

Love What Survives is the long awaited third studio album from Mount Kimbie. Its the most confident statement of intent from the boundary-pushing duo yet, and an embodiment of their career-long musical progression. The album is the product of three years of intense creative development, continually honed by the duo writing and rewriting their ideas to form something wholly idiosyncratic and personal. It brings together the voices of their close friends and collaborators - who together represent a bright corner of young artistic talent - James Blake, Micachu and King Krule, within the immersive, unique atmosphere of a Mount Kimbie album.
