Jack White presents his new album Lazaretto, released on Third Man Records/Columbia. Lazaretto inhabits an exciting place in White's expansive discography as the follow-up to 2012's gold-certified international #1 Blunderbuss, and was preceded by first single and title track ''Lazaretto.''

The aforementioned Blunderbuss was the first U.S. #1 album of Jack's storied career, also debuting at #1 in the UK, Canada, and, naturally, Switzerland. Blunderbuss was supported by an ambitious world tour featuring two backing bands, the all-male Buzzards and all-female Peacocks, notched up five GRAMMY nominations including Album of the Year, and dominated Best of 2012 lists, including being named MOJO's #1 album of 2012.

    Blunderbuss

The White Stripes frontman's debut solo LP features the lead single, Love Interruption, with White accompanied by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Ruby Amanfu. White previously described Blunderbuss as an album [he] couldn't have released until now.

I've put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name, he said. These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas.

Born the youngest of ten children, raised in Southwest Detroit and a resident of Nashville since 2005, White is one of the most prolific and renowned artists of the past 15 years. When the White Stripes started in 1997 no one, least of all Jack, ever expected that a red-and-white two-piece band would take hold in the mainstream world. With the release of 2001's White Blood Cells the band was thrust on magazine covers and captivating audiences through worldwide touring. "Fell in Love With a Girl" served as the band's breakthrough hit and its accompanying Michel Gondry Lego clip was chosen by Pitchfork Media as the No. 1 music video of the 2000's. The release of Elephant in 2003 not only cemented the band's reputation as a force to be reckoned with, but it also offered the hit "Seven Nation Army" which has since become appropriated as a de facto stadium chant for many sports teams the world over.

Sixteen Saltines / Love Is Blindness 12 (Awaiting Repress)

12 Vinyl with playable etched B-side

The second single off Jack White's debut solo album Blunderbuss. Debuted on Saturday Night Live and worlds apart from the first single "Love Interruption," the rock and roll power of " Sixteen Saltines" is all the evidence needed to show that White's solo work will be as varied as it is accomplished. Coupled with White's stinging cover of U2's "Love is Blindness" (from Achtung Baby) and the record metaphorically jumps off turntable.

The 12 single of Jack White's "Sixteen Saltines" comes complete with a playable etching on the b-side (designed by George Ingram), a cover of U2's "Love is Blindness." Truly a sight to behold, the etching depicts Third Man's iconic logo and the grooves of the record play through the image, presenting consumers with the world's first-ever playable etched record (this is an entirely different process than your Split Enz and Styx records from 1980, this visual is all vinyl).

    Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016

JACK WHITE ACOUSTIC RECORDINGS 1998-2016 collects 26 acoustic songs from throughout White's wide-ranging musical career, spanning album tracks, B-sides, remixes, alternate versions, and previously unreleased tracks. The album, arranged in chronological order, includes acoustic songs made famous by The White Stripes, beginning with ''Sugar Never Tasted So Good'' (originally found on The White Stripes' second-ever 7-inch single) and then lighting upon favorites like ''Apple Blossom'' and ''I'm Bound To Pack It Up'' (remixed here from the original recordings on 2000's DE STIJL), ''Hotel Yorba'' and ''We're Going To Be Friends'' (from 2001's WHITE BLOOD CELLS), ''You've Got Her In Your Pocket'' and ''Well It's True That We Love One Another'' (from 2003's GRAMMY® Award-winning ELEPHANT), ''Forever For Her (Is Over For Me),'' ''White Moon'' and ''As Ugly As I Seem'' (from 2005's GET BEHIND ME SATAN) ''Effect & Cause'' (from 2007's ICKY THUMP), and the Beck-produced ''Honey, We Can't Afford To Look This Cheap,'' first found on the B-side to The White Stripes' final single, 2007's ''Conquest.''

''City Lights'' (below) was written for The White Stripes' GET BEHIND ME SATAN but then forgotten until White revisited the 2005 album for Third Man's Record Store Day 2015 vinyl reissue and finished the recording in 2016. The track is the first new, worldwide commercially released White Stripes song since 2008.

Also featured are ''Never Far Away'' (recorded for 2003's COLD MOUNTAIN: MUSIC FROM THE MIRAMAX MOTION PICTURE) and ''Love Is The Truth'' (written and recorded for Coca-Cola's 2006 What Goes Around campaign) as well as the Bluegrass Version of ''Top Yourself'' and an acoustic mix of the epic murder ballad, ''Carolina Drama,'' both written by White and Brendan Benson for The Raconteurs' GRAMMY® Award-winning 2008 album, CONSOLERS OF THE LONELY. White's two chart-topping solo albums, 2012's BLUNDERBUSS and 2014's LAZARETTO, are represented by a remarkably diverse range of material including ''Love Interruption,'' ''On And On And On,'' ''Blunderbuss,'' ''Entitlement,'' ''Want And Able,'' and alternative mixes of ''Hip (Eponymous) Poor Boy,'' ''Just One Drink,'' ''I Guess I Should Go To Sleep,'' and B-side, ''Machine Gun Silhouette.''

''This, like (Son House's) 'Grinnin' In Your Face,' is mirror-music,'' writes renowned music journalist Greil Marcus of ''City Lights'' in the album's exclusive liner notes, ''the singer talking to himself, trying to tell himself the truth, which he's going to need if he's going to step out of his door, walk into the world, and fool himself, for just a second, that he's ready to take it on. As you listen, it's no surprise at all that it took most of White's music-making life to bring the song home.''

The 26 tracks featured on JACK WHITE ACOUSTIC RECORDINGS 1998-2016 were remastered by Andrew Mendelson at Nashville, TN's Georgetown Masters. All songs were written and produced exclusively by Jack White, except ''Never Far Away'' (produced by T Bone Burnett), ''Honey, We Can't Afford To Look This Cheap'' (produced by Beck), ''Top Yourself (Bluegrass Version)'' and ''Carolina Drama'' (written & produced by White & Brendan Benson), and ''Machine Gun Silhouette'' (written by White & Rob Jones).

    Horehound

White Stripes and Raconteurs leader Jack White won¹t rest. Pairing with
Kills vocalist Alison Mosshart, the analog champion¹s latest quartet plays
psychedelic blues and stark rock that¹s moody, atmospheric, and hypnotic. Tinged with swampy vibes and ominous emotions, this is a supergroup that lives up to the names and pedigrees of its impressive roster of members.

In addition to White and Mosshart, The Dead Weather brings together Queens Of The Stone Age guitarist Dean Fertita and Raconteurs bassist Jack Lawrence. A veritable jack of all trades, White has turned his attention to the drums, leaving the guitar fireworks to Fertita. Most importantly, the quartet's iniitial batch of songs leaves nothing to be desired.

Steeped in mythology, dripping with trashy promise, and soaked in an aptly humid atmospherics, Horehound is a modern marvel--a full-band effort that pools the best of White's other bands into an utterly distinctive whole. The push-pull interplay between White and Mosshart is alone worth exploring; such tension, drive, and edginess inform the proceedings, which span funk, sleazy blues, greasy boogies, and fuzz-drenched rock. Call it an update on not only blues' traditions but those of film noir, where White is ensared by Mosshart's femme-fatale allure and the band plays the soundtrack while the devil marches in and takes control.

Recorded in just three weeks at White's newly constructed Nashville studio, Horehound has the sonics to match the excellent tunesmithship. Quickly becoming renown as one of the most analog-minded producers around, White worked to capture every nuance, texture, and note on this richly detailed album, which like the White Stripes' work, was intended to be heard on vinyl. Fertita's organ work and Lawrence's melodically distorted bass lines are not only heard but felt as they contribute to an ambience that's at once haunted and mesmerizing. You will not be disappointed at the results.

Maybe the guy keeps such an insane work schedule because he's afraid idle hands are the devil's workshop. So while Meg White prepares to become Patti Smith's daughter-in-law, Jack keeps busy with this brilliant new band, tangling with Alison Mosshart of the Kills for an excellent album of sex sweat, bourbon breath, gun smoke and guitar sleaze. Advantage: devil! --Rob Sheffield, Rolling Stone, July 13, 2009

    Fly Farm Blues

Fly Farm Blues is a song written on the spot by Jack White at the request of film director Davis Guggenheim while filming the impressive new guitar documentary It Might Get Loud. The film features in-depth looks at Mr. White, The Edge, and Jimmy Pages relationships with the six-stringed instrument. Jack recorded the song immediately to two-track, all while being filmed for the documentary in the attic of the Fly Farm. Some astute viewers may recognize this attic room as the same used by Jim Jarmusch in his video for the Raconteurs ''Steady As She Goes.''
''Fly Farm Blues'' is released on a special one-sided 45 RPM vinyl 7-inch by Third Man Records and on iTunes in conjunction with Sony Pictures Classics and the release of the feature documentary It Might Get Loud screened at selected theaters in New York and Los Angeles starting August 14th, 2009, and then coming soon to a town near you.

Live At St. Pancras Old Church

In October 2013 Melora Creager and Daniel from Rasputina arrived in London to join us and multi-instrumentalist, Neil Walsh, on a small tour of English churches and halls. With only a day to practice we were all a little apprehensive as we unpacked our instruments and set up some amps in our kitchen but after a few moments as the strings, voices and guitars filled the room we knew the shows ahead were going to turn out just fine.

Melora's and Daniel's cellos and Neil's viola provided new textures and direction to our old songs and it was a tour that left us very grateful for the opportunity to play with such talented friends, to attentive audiences in some spectacular, historical places.

The last night of the tour was recorded in St Pancras Old Church, London and we will be releasing it as a limited edition LP album. The sleeve is hand-drawn and the record will be pressed on heavyweight vinyl.

In the six years since Smoke Fairies first entered a recording studio, they have made three critically acclaimed albums, supported the likes of Bryan Ferry, Laura Marling, Seasick Steve and Richard Hawley, and were the first UK act to be flown to the states to record a single with Jack White for his Third Man Records label.

Jessica Davies and Katherine Blamire met at school in Chichester, West Sussex and have been inseperable ever since, travelling to tour their music across the world.

    Love Interruption

Love Interruption (featuring a duet with Grammy-nominated Nashville singer, Ruby Amanfu) is the first taste of Jack White's debut solo album, Blunderbuss, out on Third Man Records/Columbia. Also included is the non-LP B side Machine Gun Silhouette. 7 vinyl release with fold-over sleeve in poly bag.

Produced by Jack White and recorded at his own Third Man Studio in Nashville, Blunderbuss has been described by White as an album I couldn't have released until now. I've put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name. These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas.

Would You Fight For My Love?

The latest single from Jack White's record-breaking Lazaretto album showcases the anthemic ''Would You Fight For My Love?'' a song that weaves in and out of movements and moods and crushes the listener with intensity. The b-side features a stunning cover of ''Parallel'' written by Dean Fertita (Queens of the Stone Age, The Dead Weather) and Brendan Benson (the Raconteurs) and originally released under Fertita's Hello=Fire moniker. In addition, the artwork of the single fits in with that of the previous five picture sleeves of Jack White singles, a continuing visual narrative progressing one record at a time.

I'm Shakin' / Blues On Two Trees

Jack White unleashes his fourth (and final?) single from his debut ''Blunderbuss'' LP. Written by Rudy Toombs and popularized by the version recorded by Little Willie John for King Records in 1960, White's version builds on a lush bank of female backing vocals to lend a completely new and fresh take on the classic. Exclusive b-side ''Blues on Two Trees'' is an impressive, non-traditional piece unlike anything else White has done before. Truly needs to be heard to be believed.

Front cover of the single fits in with the art from the previous three singles on the album, creating an impressive quadriptych that needs to be seen in person.

Blue Blood Blues - No Hassle Night/I Just Want To Make Love To You (Live)

The standout track on the Dead Weathers sophomore album Sea of Cowards and its second single, Blue Blood Blues is full of bluster and wicked licks. With lead vocals by Jack White, the lyrics are line after line of gems all worth repeating, especially All the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service. The Blue Blood Blues 12 comes backed with two non-LP tracks, No Hassle Night and a stellar live cover version of the Muddy Waters blues classic, I Just Want To Make Love To You. 12 vinyl single, black generic die-cut jacket.

    Under Great White Northern Lights

In the summer of 2007, shortly after the release of their 6th album Icky Thump, The White Stripes headed north of their hometown of Detroit to embark on an ambitious journey across Canada. The plan was to play a show in every province and territory in Canada, from B.C. to Newfoundland to Nunavut. Having never done a tour of Canada, Meg and I thought it was high time to go whole hog, from the ocean to the permafrost explains Jack White. We wanted to play out of the way towns that don't usually get shows, the shows are better, it's better for the people, it's a better experience, it's way more unique, something interesting is going to happen, hopefully.

White called upon filmmaker Emmett Malloy to come and document this trek for the band. Malloy had directed videos for the band in the past, and seemed eager to hit the road with them. Equipped with a couple of 16mm cameras, and a few other documenting devices, the band and crew all headed north. The end result was Under Great White Northern Lights.

Under Great White Northern Lights is a visual and emotional feature length film documenting The White Stripes making their way through Canada and culminating with their 10th Anniversary show in Nova Scotia. The film documents the band playing shows all over Canada; from local bowling alleys, to city buses, and onward to the legendary Savoy Theater for the 10th Anniversary show. A show that turned out to be the longest show the band had ever done on stage together.

The film captures intimate moments of Jack and Meg both on and off stage as they travel through some of the most remote parts of the northern Yukon Territory. Along the way, they have some nice casual conversations about their ten years together, fire cannons, play some of their biggest songs together on stage, and even play a one note show. The cameras were there to capture every waking moment.

What Northern Lights does best is document one of the biggest bands in the world, playing to local crowds in small towns. Some of these towns were so small that many of the locals had no idea who The White Stripes were, they just knew something big was going on in their town. This forced a band that had been together for a decade to go back to a place reminiscent of the first shows they ever played together. For the first time in a long time, no one knew who they were and they had to make a first impression with their music.

The live footage captured in this film shows that Jack and Meg were clearly ready for this. Beyond the live footage, some of the films most memorable moments happen off-stage, offering an insightful look into the very private and complex world that is The White Stripes. It was shortly after this tour that The White Stripes cancelled their fall tour of the U.S., making the ten year anniversary a truly pivotal milestone for this legendary band.

This double 180g vinyl LP set features 16 tracks and serves as the soundtrack to the documentary film of the 2007 Canadian White Stripes tour.

Big River / Wabash Cannonball 7

Here, Jack White turns his production hand to their debut 45, featuring two songs that more than adeptly show of the girls versatility and familiar sense of musical tradition by connecting the dots between Johnny Cash, The Carter Family, riverboat songs, train songs and the long tradition of gathering round the piano in the family palour to belt out some traditional hyms. Not to mention once again re-defining the perimeters of what folk music is all about.

The A side, a cover of Johnny Cashs Big River, has all the bombast and swagger of a late night Saturday jam session in an old deserted barn. The vocals of the sisters Rogers are a firm lynchpin in the center holding the band to the ground as they threaten to float into abandon.

The flip is their take on the traditional folk song The Wabash Cannonball, popularized by The Carter Family. Musically and vocally were in 1930s Big Band territory here, all banjo trombones and trumpets with the girls coming off like The Andrews Sisters Southern gothic cousins.

    Sea Of Cowards (Awaiting Repress)

The latest musical adventure by Jack White (The White Stripes, The Raconteurs), epitomizes the alt-rock ethic: do the music you love, do it yourself, and do it fast. The Dead Weather brings together lead singer Alison Mosshart (half of the London-based lo-fi post-punk duo The Kills), Queens Of The Stone Age guitarist Dean Fertita, The Raconteurs' bassist Jack Lawrence, and White on drums and vocals. White also produced the group's debut album, Horehound, recorded in just three weeks earlier this year at his newly constructed Nashville studio. An exhilarating mix of punchy blues singing from Mosshart and garage rock with arena ambitions, Horehound introduces the musical whirlwind that is The Dead Weather.

    Nobody's / The Same Eyes

It should come as no surprise to the TMR faithful that Lillie Mae Rische is a complete bad-ass and an all-around powerhouse of melody. She first joined the TMR family a little over two years ago and ever since--whether onstage w/ Jack White and his band or in the studio--she's been, how you say, delivering us from evil with fiddle playing so stupefying as to propel listeners into the jaws of heavenly awe. Feel me on this, y'all?

Here we have Lillie Mae Rische center stage. Her contribution to our Blue Series showcases two original songs, charming and plaintive, with the B-side hitting us with a story of hearts on the road, having to reconcile distance and desire. Meanwhile, the A-side is a gentle yet stern anthem about the sweet and sour circumstances of being alone. All in a voice that's sweeter than peach brandy.

Joining her are some longtime Third Man contributors Carl Broemel, Dominic Davis, Jack Lawrence, and local drum god, Whip Triplet.
