    Colored Vinyl

The band is back with their second full-length album, "Headspace". For this release, they returned to
producer Kris Crummett (Sleeping With Sirens, Dance Gavin Dance), and the result is 13 tracks that are
some the band's best work to date. Headspace delivers more genre bending tracks, combining heavy
rock and melodic choruses spirited by dueling vocalists Tyler Carter and Michael Bohn. Carter and Bohn
sound better than ever, with Tyler delivering his signature, beautiful soulful soaring vocals and Michael
crunching onto the track with his fierce hard hitting screams and melodic hooks.

ISSUES have taken the ground-work built on their debut full length and created a fully realized album
that is guaranteed to set them up as major players in the scene for years to come. Headspace delivers
100% on the promise shown through their debut EP and debut full length. It embodies everything that
ISSUES is, and what fans have come to love.

KoRn: one of the best-selling Nu Metal bands on the planet. Of their 8 studio albums the first seven have been certified platinum. 'Issues' was their first album after their mainstream breakthrough with 'Follow The Leader'.

On 'Issues' the hip hop elements of 'Follow the Leader' were removed moving the band in a more alternative and industrial metal sound rather than the so-called nu metal.

Although 'Issues' was released during a week of many highly-anticipated records, it debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 keeping Dr. Dre and Celine Dion from hitting #1. The first single from the album, Falling Away from Me, debuted on South Park in an episode titled Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery. The band was featured in cartoon form as Scooby Doo-style mystery solvers. After the 180 grams release of Life Is Peachy we now present Issues on heavy-weight vinyl!

In 1976 Johnny Rotten and the Sex Pistols set the agenda for punk's year zero with 'Anarchy In The UK', a song that summed up the spirit, sound and attitude of the band in one shocking package. Two years later, the Sex Pistols were in tatters, but Rotten was as unsentimental as you'd hope. He reverted to his real name - John Lydon - and set about forming a band whose very identity kicked against press and media manipulation. Featuring bassist Jah Wobble, drummer Jim Walker and guitarist Keith Levene, his new group were Public Image Limited. The public image would be limited.

PiL were a very distinct prospect from the Pistols, founded with a greater thought for rhythm, and with a sound that turned the page from snarling punk to a more experimental sound fusing rock, dance, folk, ballet, pop and dub. But that's not to say Lydon's new outfit lacked vitriol. 'Public Image' hits out against the notorious British tabloid press, who never gave Lydon an easy ride, and against his own Sex Pistols public image - "You only saw me for the clothes I wore".

The debut single (and the album that followed) operated as a theme song and a manifesto: " my entrance/My own creation/My grand finale/My goodbye," as the lyrics had it. It is, essentially, the sound of four people letting loose in a studio - and not caring what anyone else thought.

Are You Experienced? (Music On Vinyl) (Mono - UK Cover)

Ranked 15/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Ex The Animals musician & entrepreneur Chas Chandler had brought Hendrix to the UK, teaming him up with drummer Mitch Mitchell and bassist Noel Redding. Recordings for Are You Experienced had begun in late October 1966, producing a string of singles preceding the illustrious first album by the world's most famous guitarist. While recording, the future working relationship between engineer Eddie Kramer and Hendrix was forged. The debut album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience was initially issued in mono and then 'enhanced stereo' on later issues.

The UK cover photography was by Bruce Flemming. Releases in Europe had the words Jimi Hendrix placed above the title. These later issues were 'enhanced stereo', with tracks listed on the back.

The USA & Canadian issues were released after the band appeared at the Monterey Pop Festival in June 1967, along with The Who. Its art was directed by Ed Thrasher, using a Karl Ferris infra-red fish-eye photo. There is a key difference to the tracks on this album, with some removed and replaced by the earlier singles, plus a change to the running order. The spelling Foxey Lady appears in some of these issues, and has been adopted for the Music On Vinyl mono reissue.

Though only a little more than a year has passed since the 2014 release of Ledges, Carry The Ghost finds an older, more sophisticated Gundersen attempting the difficult work of unraveling our purpose here, searching for answers about the nature of man and the meaning of our relationships. Produced by Gundersen and mixed by Phil Ek (Father John Misty, Band Of Horses), Carry The Ghost explores issues of self-discovery and existentialism with an erudite sophistication across 13 magnificent tracks.

    As If We Existed

This is the debut and next link in the chain of cerebral hip-hop by the proteges of politically minded rapper Sage Francis. Beat artist DiViNCi plays his MPC with the passion and intensity of a Hendrix or a Townsend, filling the stage with an astonishing sonic landscape. These athletic beats form the perfect setting for MC Swamburger's flow; a tongue-twisting, machine-gunning cadence whose precision is surgical in both rhythm and message. With tough, spiritual tracks that take aim at specific issues like cultural revolution, ethnic alcoholism, and personal wellness, As If We Existed is a public service announcement with spit.

Michigan cousins, Jim Wigand III and Tamara Finlay are the two voices behind The Thornbills. Both ethereal and existential these two harmonize prose with a unique and saturated aesthetic. The themes addressed in their songwriting deal mainly with issues of perception versus reality and are executed in crystalline folk tunes.

Third Man Records presents two Jack White produced songs in their Blue Series of 7 records. Uncle Andrei is a mysterious ode, reminiscent of a Russian waltz while Square Peg is a driving and charming tune layered with the strum of the guitar and wail of the violin.

    Clinging To A Scheme

On their 2010 third release, Clinging To A Scheme, The Radio Dept. combined the most unequalled components of their previous two albums with winning results. Heavens On Fire is a passionate and yet passively aggressive attack on the unknown in an almost cheerful song with a hip-hop beat, obstinate guitars and a driving house-piano while Never Follow Suit has got Johan Duncansons hushed voice glued to a heavy bass, backbeat piano and shimmering flutes. Clinging To A Scheme is a low-key but intense soliloquy on issues of belonging and not belonging. Reissued on 180g vinyl!

    Eternally Even

In regards to his second full-length, Jim James says I wanted to make an album that hopefully speaks to the issues of the day, many of which, sadly, are issues we have been dealing with since the beginning of time. Most of what I think about right now is how so many things in the world are SO fucked up- our political system is broken and corrupt...our earth is being destroyed by climate change...people are not treating each other with equality and respect... and I think- are we going to make it? Are we going to figure it out and fix it before it's too late? Can we ever truly open our hearts and embrace love in all its beautiful forms? I think it's still possible. I still have hope in humanity. I'm just trying to be a part of the discussion and encourage people to speak out for equality, to not be afraid to speak out for peace and love. All of us feel afraid at times in these absolutely insane times, but it's important we speak our minds, cast our votes, and do not give in to fear and hatred.

    Talk About Body

Talk About Body is the debut album from Men, the new project from Le Tigre's JD Samson, feminist leader and gay icon. Men is a Brooklyn-based band and art/performance collective, where JD is joined by Ladybudy Transistor's Michael O'Neill. The band focuses on the energy of live performance and the radical potential of dance music and speaks on issues of wartime economies, sexual compromise and the demand of liberties.

Men started in 2007 as the DJ/production team of Le Tigre members JD Samson and Johanna Fateman. With Le Tigre on hiatus, the duo began to write new songs, and they merged their efforts with JD's other project Hirsute. Now Johanna and artist Emily Roysdon contribute as writers, consultants and producers as JD and Michael lead the Men charge.

    Ballads & Blues

One of the greatest American folk-blues singers of all time, Josh White (1914-1969) is perhaps the artist most responsible for introducing African American folk and blues to white America. By the time this intimate collection of lesser-known spirituals, prison blues and protest songs was released in 1957 for Elektra, Josh White was just beginning to make a comeback after having his career nearly destroyed by a McCarthy blacklisting. Although White was not a Communist, he was outspoken on issues of Civil Rights. He famously was the first black artist to give a White House Command Performance (1941) and earn a million selling record (with One Meatball in 1944). In 1963 he was ranked Americas third most popular folksinger (after Harry Belafonte and Pete Seeger) and performed at Martin Luther King, Jr.s March On Washington. By his death in 1969 he was the best-known folk-blues musician in America.

    Orthodox (On Sale)

The thing about progress is that sometimes we never recognize it until we've arrived at the end goal and reflected. That's what's so telling about the title of Native's sophomore album, Orthodox: inasmuch as it dispenses with the quartet's prior musical conventions as it tackles weighty social issues often left unchallenged by today's bands. It's an album filled with subtle intricacies for obsessives to hone in on for years to come, while equally menacing and destructive in its incisive power. In just a handful of years, Northwestern Indiana's Native have built themselves a large word-of-mouth following in the underground as an incendiary live act. The iconoclast group's impeccable musicianship, ominous chords, apocalyptic vocals and innovative rhythms hit with an intensity that can only be described as akin to a white-knuckle thrill ride. Orthodox was recorded by Greg Norman (Russian Circles, Pelican) in Tolono, IL and in Chicago throughout 2012 and 2013.
