Klipsch Heritage Cornwall III Floorstanding Speaker

Premiering in 1959, the Cornwall speaker was fashioned to serve as a larger, full-range substitute for the Heresy when positioned as a center channel speaker between two widely spaced Klipschorns. When it was taken out of production in 1990, there was an uproar from consumers that resulted in a letter-writing campaign and even a petition to make this legendary loudspeaker available once more.

This illustrious speaker, now called the Cornwall III, has returned better than ever. A three-way design that uses horn-loaded compression drivers for the midrange and treble and a direct-radiating 15-inch woofer for the low frequencies, the Cornwall provides the full-range bass response of the Klipschorn® with sensitivity and output nearing the fully horn-loaded models. This new version of the Cornwall III includes a riser-base, which was previously optional.

    • A three-way design using horn-loaded Midrange and high frequency compression drivers for the midrange and treble.
    • Direct-radiating 15-inch woofer for powerful low frequencies.
    • Available in a high-quality Black Ash, Cherry, or Walnut wood veneer finish

Klipsch Heritage Heresy III Floorstanding Speaker (Special Edition)

The Klipsch Heresy III Special Edition speakers are a super limited production run of our iconic Heresy III loudspeakers, finished in a beautiful exotic real-wood California Black Walnut or East Indian Rosewood. Because of its smaller enclosure, this model offers the greatest degree of placement flexibility from our Heritage Series. Originally introduced in 1957, the Heresy speaker is famous for its compact three-way design utilizing a 12" woofer and horn-loaded midrange and tweeter. Accompanying the new special edition finishes, we've handpicked new grilles to complete the ensemble - a vintage lambswool for the California Black Walnut finish, and a gorgeous silver luster cloth to compliment the Rosewood design.

Because these speakers are handcrafted, please allow a manufacturing time of up to six weeks after making your purchase.

    Compact Three-Way Loudspeaker

The Heresy was first introduced in 1957 as a compact three-way design combining a 12" woofer and horn-loaded midrange and tweeter. In 2006, the Heresy III was upgraded with a better woofer, bi-wire network, as well as midrange and tweeter compression drivers, featuring a titanium diaphragm for smooth and accurate definition.

    Book-Matched Wood Veneer

Klipsch only uses book-matched wood veneers for the Heritage series. The veneer leaves are kept in order as they are carefully sliced from the timber and arranged to provide a mirror image at the splice joint - like turning the pages of a book. This gives each speaker an aesthetically appealing and consistent look that is treasured more than any other cut of wood veneer.

    Matched Pairs

Each pair of Heritage Series loudspeakers is grain-matched using wood veneer panels that come from the same timber. Each cabinet is matched so that each speaker in the pair is practically no difference from the other. The speakers move together easily through the factory. Each finished product is inspected and labeled with sequential serial numbers, ensuring that the Heritage series speakers leave the factory as a skillfully crafted set.

    New Nameplate, Riser And Grille

Each pair of Heresy's rests on a matte-black slant riser and features a new script nameplate mounted upon vintage lambswool or beautiful silver luster grille cloth.

    Matched Pairs

Each pair of Heritage Series loudspeakers is grain-matched using wood veneer panels that come from the same timber. Each cabinet is precisely matched so that each speaker in the pair is indistinguishable from the other. The speakers move easily together through the factory. Each finished product is inspected and labeled with sequential serial numbers, ensuring that the Heritage series speakers leave the factory as a meticulously crafted set.

    Roll The Bones

    200 Gram Vinyl LP

From a lyrical perspective, 1991's Roll the Bones is quite possibly Rush's darkest album (most of the songs deal with death in no uncertain terms), but from a musical point of view, the record treads territory (highbrow melodic hard rock) similar to its recent predecessors, with only a few surprises thrown in for good measure. These include an amusing rap section in the middle of the title track, a welcome return to instrumentals with Where's my Thing?, and one of the band's finest songs of the '90s in the gutsy Dreamline. Neurotica is another highlight which lives up to its title, and though their negative subject matter can feel stifling at times, fine tracks like Bravado, The Big Wheel, and Heresy feature wonderful melodies and arrangements.

You Love Us... You Hate Us

    Gold Colored Vinyl

Started out as a '77 punk-influenced band back in 1981, legendary Boston thrash-corers Psycho constantly evolved through the years, playing faster and faster with each new release. It wasn't until their 1988 masterpiece, You Love Us... You Hate Us that they fully embraced the 50-second-song, D.R.I./Heresy-styled, bandana thrash formula, conceiving one of the most important 'cult' classics of the whole 80's hardcore era. Licensed from Johnny's X own Ax/ction label, and reissued on beautiful gold vinyl just like the original version, with original inner sleeve repro in a limited 500 copy edition, Radiation Reissues is proud to bring back to vinyl the 12 minutes of 100% raging hardcore fury that made history!

    Bright Phoebus

The First Time This 1972 Masterpiece Has Been Widely Available On LP

    Remastered From The Original Tapes

Originally released in 1972, Bright Phoebus combined the incredible songwriting of siblings Lal & Mike from folk revival group The Watersons. Moving on from, but not forgetting their folk roots, the album is a post psychedelic collection of songs recorded in a 'loose & anarchic'fashion in Cecil Sharpe House with a folk-rock super group numbering Richard Thompson,Norma Waterson, Maddy Prior, Martin Carthy & Ashley Hutchings. Its release was greeted with derision and its initial pressing of 2000 LPs has long since fallen out of print. Since then the album has become legend, its scarcity not hindering generations of music fans falling for its beguiling atmosphere.

Over the course of four decades, the only means of hearing Lal and Mike Waterson's 1972 folk noir masterpiece had been unofficial CDs, cassettes distributed between fans and, in more recent times, YouTube uploads. And yet, despite the relative obscurity of the record being celebrated, 2000 people had packed London's The Barbican to witness live performance sof these songs by an extended family of Watersons, Carthys and kindred musical spirits. Toofolk to be embraced by the rock world, yet not traditional enough for the folk clubs where performing original material was tantamount to heresy, Bright Phoebus has had to wait an awfully long time for its moment of reappraisal. Almost by stealth, however, that moment seems to have arrived. In a Mojo chart of the 50 greatest British eccentric albums of all time, the album sat proudly among household names such as Kate Bush and Pink Floyd. In 2007, Bright Phoebus was the subject of a BBC Radio 4 documentary and Lal was the subject of a tribute concert which was televised by BBC2. With every passing year, its influence on generations of musicians who had yet to be born when it was released grows ever greater.

This release will be the first time that the album will be widely available. Under the supervision of David Suff (Topic/Fledling) & Mary Waterson (daughter of Lal), the album has been remastered from the original master tapes. It's tempting to say that it was a record ahead of its time, but actually, Bright Phoebus is a record that exists outside of its time. A journey into a world where beauty and hardship are intertwined: a world of pagan sacrifice and stillborn children; a world where fairytale endings are frustrated by the demands of mere survival; where even the visiting magical man passing through the town seems to carry with him a faint air of menace.

Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son

Damien is out of his goddamn mind.

This isn't a recent development, but it's an important aspect of his work that often goes ignored. In place of
this key element is the idea that his music is a sober and in-depth excavation of the American landscape and
rural psyche. Well, folks,I'm sorry, but it's not.

Damien Jurado is every character in every Damien Jurado song. He is the gun,the purple anteater, the paper
wings, the avalanche, the airshow disaster, Ohio, the ghost of his best friend's wife. It is a universe unto its
own, with it's own symbolism, creation myth, and liturgy. You might go as far as to call it a religion, and your
religion is a character in his religion.

Level with me. You're reading this because of Damien Jurado's new album,Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal
Son (produced by Richard Swift). You are a progressive minded, left-leaning person who in parlor-style
conversation regarding the globo-political ramifications of Sky Person relationships laughs knowingly so as
not to be judgmental and very reasonably concedes "Well, I don't believe He's some old man with a beard
sitting up in the clouds" at which point everyone agrees on [insert benign middle-ground] and moves on.

Consider this:What if the only way to understand a religion is to create your own?

Who is this Silver community? Where the hell are they in the Bible? Is this heresy? Agnostic reference? Isn't
this sun business a little, I don't know, animistic? Pagan? Go ahead and answer that question for yourself. I'll
    give you a second.

Do you understand the music any better?

You know that adage we all use so we have something to say while we shrug our shoulders? "People change"?
That one. Is that applicable to Jesus Christ? Maybe he's been on a personal journey of discovery since he
ascended. He went through the 60's, 70's,he turned on,tuned out, got disillusioned. Why can't we talk about
that Jesus? Does it have to be the old-timey one all the time? American folk Jesus, ugh. The one who's always
winning Best Soundtrack Oscars for people. Rarely do stories of faith make us identify with Jesus. It's
Abraham, Satan, Silver Timothy, Salome, Dr.J, Saul of Tarsus; divinely imperfect brothers and sisters who give
    Gawd something to do.

Damien Jurado made up his own Jesus because a Damien Jurado album needs a beautiful Jesus. Some freaky
space Jesus that I don't recognize. The name is the same, a lot of the imagery is the same, but he's reborn.
Born again,I mean. Yeah, as if Jesus got born again. That's what this album sounds like.

Jesus is out of his goddamn mind and I want to live in Damien's America.

    Sign me up.
