    Dreamboat Annie

Originally released in 1976, Heart's debut release is now celebrating its 40th anniversary. Dreamboat Annie was an
impressive hard rock debut. Crazy on You, which spotlighted the piercing vocals of singer Ann Wilson and the
chunky guitar bluster of her sister Nancy, entered the top 40, and the more mystical Magic Man climbed to No. 9.
Dreamboat Annie also exposed a more vulnerable side of the band with the title track.

    Bebe Le Strange

    180 Gram Vinyl

Just before Heart recorded the album that became Bebe Le Strange, the band was faced with one of their biggest challenges. In October of 1979, founding member Roger Fisher was asked to leave the group (after the relationship between him and Nancy Wilson had already ended, and Wilson was now dating drummer Mike Derosier - while her sister Ann was still dating Roger Fisher's brother Michael, the band's manager). So, while Heart recorded their fifth LP in Seattle in Winter of 1979, it was their first album without Fisher's guitar playing or song writing.

Instead, Sue Ennis (a longtime friend of Ann and Nancy Wilson's) was brought in to help out co-writing tunes, and she also played some guitar and piano on the album. Collectively, Sue, Ann and Nancy called themselves Connie and their lyrics were more personal than ever before. Once Nancy Wilson and Roger Fisher had broken up, the creative powers in the band shifted. The Wilson sisters were now in full control. Originally released on February 14, 1980, the album contains the singles Even It Up and Bebe Le Strange, and eventually certified Gold..

A fantastic 3-LP collection of Neil's best-from Buffalo Springfield through CSNY to his own enigmatic solo career-featuring Southern Man; Down by the River; Helpless; Ohio; Sugar Mountain; Like a Hurricane; Heart of Gold; After the Gold Rush , and lots more.

One of the most influential artists of all time, Neil Young has set a standard of artistic integrity and iconoclastic creativity. Before starting his multi-platinum solo career, he was a founding member of the folk-rock band Buffalo Springfield and worked with the groups Crazy Horse and Crosby, Stills and Nash. The Canadian singer-songwriter was recognized by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 for his work as a solo artist and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1982. Young's philanthropic work is as renowned as his musical legacy.

His famous Bridge School Benefit Concert has become a yearly tradition since 1986 and continues to boast an incredible line-up of high-profile artists. Each year, Young donates all of the proceeds to the Bay Area's Bridge School, which assists children with severe physical impairments and complex communication needs. He was also one of the original founders of Farm Aid in 1985, and continues to be an active member on the organization's board of directors.

    Numbered Limited Edition

Ranked 172/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Rod the Mod's Definitive Album: Timeless Feel-Good Set Contains Eternal Chart-Topper Maggie May, Introspective (Find A) Reason to Believe

Stewart's Band Includes His Faces Mates: Ron Wood, Ian McLagan Shine

Mastered on Mobile Fidelity's World-Renowned Mastering System and Pressed at RTI (The Best Plant in America): LP Boasts Organic Warmth and Full-Range Extension

Rod Stewart owned the early 1970s. When he wasn't recording great sets with the Faces, he was redefining how folk, country, and soul music could be folded under rock's umbrella. Filled with first-rate originals and terrific interpretations of classics, Every Picture Tells A Story remains Stewart's watershed moment, a brilliant synthesis of organic warmth, earthy tones, raucous romance, and loose performances. Those who only know Stewart from his later evolution into a sappy balladeer will be overwhelmed.

Mastered on Mobile Fidelity's world-renowned mastering system and pressed at RTI (the best record plant in America), MoFi Silver Labels' numbered limited edition LP presents the 1971 smash in the most transparent, warm, and full-range sound the music has ever enjoyed. Stewart's supremely soulful vocals come on with insouciant passion and joyous persuasion, the detail allowing listeners to hear into his lungs and feel every breath he draws. His equally superb band is presented amidst an expanded soundstage that's free of artificial ceilings and harshness introduced by several digital remastering editions. The explosive sound is akin to watching a fledgling group come into its own in a small club.

Kicking up the tempo and slightly increasing the edge from his previous solo effort, Stewart transforms blues, folk, country, and soul into a hard-rocking hybrid that maintains acoustic properties but isn't afraid to step out and report on what it's like to have a night out on the town. Anchored by Mick Waller's free-swinging percussion, every song triumphs, with Stewart's slightly hoarse and eminently emotive vocals communicating each word as if they're literally sewn as hearts on his sleeve. Ron Wood's slide guitar and gritty chords complement the singer's earnest conviction, and Ian McLagan's organ adds bittersweet accents. Nothing here is blue; Every Picture Tells A Story is a celebration.

Stewart combines American and British folk styles on the strolling Mandolin Wind, the touching song epitomizing the simple, direct approach that underpins the entire album. On the breathless title track, Stewart embraces his inner playboy, the tune's likable crude-and-rude swagger sent up on crackling rhythms and visceral harmonies. The British native handles Bob Dylan's Tomorrow Is A Long Time and the evergreen That's All Right as if he wrote them. The best aspect of Every Picture Tells A Story relates to how genuine and believable Stewart and his good-natured company sound throughout.

If you are a fan of rock, soul, folk, or the blues, you owe it to yourself to have a superb copy of this timeless record that shows off its translucent and organic tones, extraordinary vocal performances, and crack backing band. Mobile Fidelity's Silver Label numbered limited edition LP does just that. And it restores one of the most iconic album covers in history. As for that Classic Edition statement that's always hovered at the top of the record? Never truer than now.

    Forever (Box Set)

Limited Edition 4 LP Box Set

Includes Additional Bonus 12" Single Of William Orbit Mix Of "Let Me In Your Heart Again"

Having in the three months since its original release already provided Queen with their twenty fifth top ten album and twenty sixth UK gold album, Queen's current best selling compilation package Queen Forever is to receive a special limited edition vinyl release coming this spring.

The original 36 track 2 CD Queen Forever release will now be made available as a strictly limited 4 LP vinyl box set which includes an additional 12" single bonus disc exclusive to the set featuring a special William Orbit mix of the only recently heard Freddie Mercury track "Let Me In Your Heart Again".

The Orbit mix was held back from the Forever CD release and only surfaced for a limited period to support the Coca-Cola (RED) AIDS awareness campaign mounted at the tail end of last year.

The B side of the 12" single has a further bonus feature exclusive to this box set - a laser etching of the box set cover illustration.

Distinguishing itself as the first Queen album to feature new Freddie Mercury led tracks since the band's 1995 Made In Heaven album, Queen Forever brings out into the light the long anticipated track from Queen and Michael Jackson, 'There Must Be More to Life Than This', an unfinished Mercury-Queen track 'Let Me In Your Heart Again' originating from the band's The Works album recording sessions (featured on this vinyl package in a newly available William Orbit mix) and a new ballad version of Mercury's first solo hit, his Giorgio Moroder collaboration, 'Love Kills', which is currently being heavily played at UK and European radio.

The rest of the package mixes Queen hits, classic tracks and celebrates the extraordinary musical path of one of the world's greatest rock bands. Reaching back as far as 1974 with fan favourite Nevermore, a Freddie Mercury song originally included on Queen II, Queen Forever progresses to feature songs that spotlight the band's songwriting prowess, studio experimentation and remarkable development, and is completed with latter-day Queen hits, including '91's no. 1 These Are The Days Of Our Lives and '95's Too Much Love Will Kill You, together with the poignant A Winter's Tale, recorded during Freddie Mercury's final Queen recording sessions in Montreux in 1991.

Queen Forever is a thrilling showcase for exclusive new Queen recordings but equally as much a paean to the extraordinary musical achievements of John Deacon, Brian May, Roger Taylor and the late Freddie Mercury, whose singular talent we again get to marvel at through this meticulously presented 36 track collection.

    Cheap Thrills

Ranked 338/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

One of the most eagerly anticipated albums of 1968 by press and public, Cheap Thrills delivered on every expectation and more. Released within a year after the debut album Big Brother And The Holding Company featuring Janis Joplin, Cheap Thrills showcases a tried & true Big Brother And The Holding Company, a highly confident Janis Joplin on vocals and an impeccable production.

With the heart-rending version of Piece Of My Heart and a definitive cover of Gershwin's Summertime, the album (which consists of studio in addition to live material) shot to the top of the charts and stayed there. Featuring elaborate cover artwork by Robert Crumb, known for his Keep On Truckin' and Fritz The Cat cartoons, Cheap Thrills became a 60's icon and not just because of the music.

A classic album and an important part of Rock history, this album is 'a time capsule for one of rock's most distinguished singers.'

    Chicken Hearted

While largely overshadowed by the pop hits he crafted for Monument later in his career, Roy Orbison s work for Sun is deserving of praise. From the aching of Ooby Dooby or the proto rockabilly of Go! Go! Go! Roy s work here is solid and energetic enough that all of Texas should be proud. And if you can t shake it to Chicken Hearted you need to check your pulse.

    Electra Heart

Marina and The Diamonds second album, Electra Heart, is not so much a creative leap forward, more an Olympian pole-vault over the bar of talented-newcomer into the global amphitheater of a cultivated Classic.

Two years on from her top 5 debut The Family Jewels (300,000 copies sold), the self-styled avant-garde D.I.Y artist has detonated her own experimental past and landed feet first in the future with Electra Heart, a stunningly ambitious, seamless, cohesive and confident sonic pulsar spinning between electro-pop euphoria and come-down melancholia. The album is produced by a cache of old school and A-List producers: Dr Luke (Katy Perry) and Liam Howe (Sneaker Pimps) but mostly (9 out of 12 songs) Greg Kurstin (Lily Allen, Kylie) and Rick Nowels (Madonna, Stevie Nicks, Lykke Li). A hook-packed stunner with the sonic ambition of a one-woman Depeche Mode, her onetime theatrical vocals now effortlessly soar between spectral, commanding and towering power-pop, finding her vocal identity in an album about a loss of it.

Electra Heart is a thematic riot, a British Eccentric, 21st Century concept caper where the album title represents a series of female archetypes, not so much an alter-ego as a beautifully-constructed prism, through which Marina projects a series of meticulously-realized female characters as a foil for telling her story, the one about mismatched lovers.

Electra Heart marks the sophomore release from Marina and the Diamonds, aiming to make a big impact in the US as Marina breaks the mold with her Americana-ode to pop music and cultural stereotypes.

    Heart On

In 2004, the Eagles of Death Metal launched their wholesome good-graciousness with Peace, Love and Death Metal, followed in 2006, by the diabolical Death By Sexy. In 2008, Jesse 'Boots Electric' Hughes, and Joshua 'Babyduck' Homme unleashed their newest tongue in cheek collection, Heart On. The album is another dose of the duo's sex-drenched satire under a backdrop of authentic '60s blues rock and glam-pomposity. Entertainment at its finest.

    Pilgrim

Eric Clapton has metamorphosed from tie-dyed guitar god for a mostly male congregation to Armani-clad crooner and chart-certified ladies' man, yet it misses the point to focus on that transition without considering '90s forays into blues (on From The Cradle, his brilliant 1994 live-in-the-studio homage), techno, and the silky contemporary R&B of Change The World. Pilgrim, his first studio album of new songs since Journeyman, reflects all these facets in his most ambitious, and certainly darkest solo project. Its title isn't casual: These are elliptical meditations on the ravages of time, as preoccupied with matters of the spirit as affairs of the heart. My Father's Eyes opens the song cycle with allusions to the traumatic death of toddler son Conor (the inspiration for '92's poignant Tears In Heaven), while the title song adopts the fevered, falsetto vocal style of Curtis Mayfield to riveting effect. Coproducer Simon Climie sculpts electronic orchestrations and favors clipped synth rhythms, while Clapton himself largely eschews his once dominant, climactic electric solos for restrained but potent acoustic filigree, staccato riffs, and fluid rhythm work, letting loose with a rougher, more biting edge on the squalling She's Gone. --Sam Surtherland
