    Suicide Squad: The Album

SUICIDE SQUAD: THE ALBUM is as wildly diverse as the Suicide Squad itself, showcasing new and previously unreleased material from some of the most commendable artists in contemporary music. Other highlights include tracks from such unprecedented assemblages as Action Bronson & Dan Auerbach (of The Black Keys) [Feat. Mark Ronson], and Skrillex & Rick Ross. What's more, SUICIDE SQUAD: THE ALBUM also features new songs from Kevin Gates, Kehlani, Skylar Grey, Grimes and Panic! At The Disco (who offer up an astounding rendition of Queen's classic Bohemian Rhapsody). In addition to these new tracks, the album features musical classics from War and Creedence Clearwater Revival, as well as Eminem's timeless anthem Without Me and a modern rendition of Leslie Gore's classic You Don't Own Me by Grace and contemporary superstar G-Eazy. The album also features the first full-length version of the ConfidentialMX (Feat. Becky Hanson) cover of I Started A Joke, which was featured in the Suicide Squad Comic-Con trailer, named one of the most-watched trailers of 2015 with over 136 million views since its release.

SUICIDE SQUAD: THE ALBUM was produced by Atlantic Records President of Film & TV and GRAMMY® Award-winning soundtrack producer Kevin Weaver (Furious 7, Boardwalk Empire, The Fault In Our Stars, CREED, Girls Volumes 1 & 2, True Blood Volumes 1 & 2) and Creative Officer of Warner Music Group and CEO of both Artist Publishing and Partner Groups, Mike Caren, who recently co-A&Red the Furious 7 soundtrack with Weaver, and has been responsible for signing more than twenty Gold and Platinum-selling artists including Trey Songz, T.I., Flo Rida and Wiz Khalifa.

    When The Smoke Clears

The group likes to rock the house and roll the heart - Billboard

It's difficult to choose a standout track, because every song is strong and catchy - Lithium Magazine

The multi-platinum Oklahoma City hard rockers Joe Blower Garvey, Mark King, Mike Rodden, and Cody Hanson - entered the studio in the spring to begin recording a brand new effort which will be co-produced by Hanson and Marshal Dutton. There are no boundaries, and every idea is going to be fair game throughout the process. Hanson says, We like to think we can do anything. We don't want to be stuck in a rut with one type of sound or formula. One song might have a country influence, while another might have a pop influence. Then, there are some heavy metal moments. We have every element covered on this record. You've got to do what's best for the song. After nearly a decade, Hinder are stronger than ever. Hanson concludes, This band was built around a strong core of hard work and friendship. Like it or not, we're going to be around for a long time.

"Freedom is a double-edged sword.. we are inspired to create from the ugly as well as the beautiful."

The Los Angeles based rock group, LESSER KEY, represents an exploration into personal and artistic freedom. The group consists of Andrew
Zamudio, Brett Fanger, Justin Hanson and Paul D'Amour - founding TOOL bassist and songwriter (Opiate & Undertow)

LESSER KEY will be releasing their highly anticipated self-titled debut EP. The group created their debut with producer Sylvia
Massy (System of a Down, Tool, Johnny Cash).

LESSER KEY states: "Having Paul D'Amour join us on bass is a real pleasure. We all loved the work he did on the first few TOOL albums. I think first
and foremost we give our best effort to create something that excites us.. the intention is to stir things up a bit. We'd rather try to present something
in the most honest way possible so that people can come to their own thoughts and feelings. Hopefully both the listener and us walk away more
    aware from the art."

    Along The Way

From the mid-western underground consciousness, guitarist/producer Mark McGuire
emerges with his forthcoming 2014 Dead Oceans debut Along the Way. The conceptual
album details the inner journey of an individual seeking definition and enlightenment. For
those following McGuire's musical ascent thus far, the record is a culmination of a prodigious
    and prolific artist.

Playing with a wide variety of instruments and styles on Along the Way, McGuire presents his
unique vision of modern psychedelia. Using electric and acoustic guitars, a Talkbox, drum
machines, a mandolin and lots in between, McGuire conducts a sonic exploration of the
inner self. "This story is an odyssey through the vast, unknown regions of the mind," he
explains in the liner notes," The endless unfolding of psychological landscapes, leading to
perpetual discoveries and expansions, in a genuinely emergent and infinite world of worlds."

Mark McGuire first came to national attention as part of Cleveland's drone collective
Emeralds, a band that single handedly created a paradigm shift toward the meditative in an
era of underground music best known for noise and chaos. Their albums for the Editions
Mego, No Fun and Hanson labels, among others, remain treasured to a generation of tape
collecting misfits. Over the course of many independent and self-releases the individual
members of the band exhibited their solo material from their earliest days. McGuire's first
solo release in 2006 showcased a natural affinity for melody, slowly disintegrating loops and
composition. When he kept audiences spellbound with live performances of his material it
made believers of concertgoers across the world. By 2009 his solo debut album Living With
Yourself was garnering praise from press and audiences alike. McGuire as a solo performer
made a direct connection with fans through his hypnotic playing, becoming more complex
in its dynamics and phrasings. The album's 2011 follow up Get Lost furthered the guitarist's
palate to include a sun-bleached digital effect. The music continually grew over itself as delays
decayed and new ones took their place, each layer revealing colors and sunspots, reflecting the
    expanse of roads traveled.

The last few years have found McGuire touring with friends like Ducktails as well as
performing as a fifth member of the legendary Afghan Whigs, collaborating with artists like
Ponytail's Dustin Wong and releasing his own R&B influenced Road Chief project. 2014 will
bring more touring, more collaborations, more videos and media; expanding horizons that
    all start with a sound.

    Supermoon

Recorded primarily during the perigee-syzygy (also known as the super moon) of August 2014,
the Supermoon EP from S. Carey is a study in scale, space, and proximity. These songs are a new
and closer look into existing works from both S. Carey's renowned full-lengths, 2010's All We
Grow and 2014's Range of Light. With Supermoon, Carey has broken these songs down to their
essential, acoustic parts with his forever humming vocals laid over top, lilting yet percussive
piano, and a subtle swath of harmonic strings. You can hear Carey's breath between words and
the pat of his fingers on the keys; you can hear the living room in which his family's baby grand
piano sits. These songs are beautiful, intimate and so potently personal. This collection is a stark
presentation of S. Carey laid bare, an open invitation for the listener to climb into his world.

One particularly poignant piece is the re-imagined Range of Light closer, Neverending
Fountain, perhaps an apt metaphor for the life of the songs themselves. Says Carey, The longer
you spend with a song, the more you can see it in its pure form. Supermoon also features a
heartrending cover of Bullet Proof.. I Wish I Was from Radiohead's classic album The Bends,
and a new song, the EP's namesake, Supermoon, which takes its inspiration, like much of
Carey's work, from the natural world around him.

Another source of inspiration quoted by Carey is the excitement of working out arrangements
for pre-existing songs on the spot, for various sessions on tour. He brought that spirit to the
recording of Supermoon, which took place over the course of a single weekend. Already known
as an artist of impeccable craft, S. Carey worked with long-time friends and collaborators (Mike
Noyce played viola, Zach Hanson engineered, mixed, and mastered) to add a chapter to the still
unfolding story of Sean Carey as an artist. We can hear the songwriting, singing and
performance for what it truly is; understated, true and pure beauty.

    Closer To Closed (EP)

From 1993 to 1997, as Braid carved out its musical niche, the pages of the bands history were filled with endless lists of shows played, 7s recorded, and followers gained. Then, a year after the release of 1998s Frame and Canvas, a genre-defining album that continues to serve as an influence for countless musicians to this day, Braid disbanded at the height of its popularity.

Since that time, fans have been treated to two posthumous compilations (Movie Music Vols. 1 & 2), a short reunion tour in 2004, and the 2010 vinyl reissues of the long out of-print Frankie Welfare Boy Age 5, The Age of Octeen and both Movie Music records.

But, even while Braid kept its name on the tip of peoples tongues, the prospect of hearing brand new music from the band remained elusive, until now. It took only a few practices to write three new tracks and arrange a cover (of Jeff Hansons You Are the Reason), all of which the band then recorded with engineer J. Robbins (Jawbreaker, The Promise Ring, Jets to Brazil, Frame and Canvas).

    Beyond My Means

Big Pauper (formerly known as Panzah Zandahz) is an acclaimed mash-up artist, electronic/psychedelic hip hop producer, circuit bent visual artist and founder of the abstract hip-hop label Token Recluse Recordings.

Under Token Recluse Panzah Zandahz released an assortment of DJ break records, singles and unauthorized remix albums including the over hyped and now-very-dated internet smash hit Me & THIS Army: Radiohead Remixed & Mashed Up by PZ (2005) which was downloaded an estimated 3 million times.

After an unauthorized remix tribute to his long-time hero, Beck Hanson, Panzah Zandahz moved away from the mash-up scene and in to a collaborative project with NY based spoken word artist Brad Hamers as the production half of Two Ton Sloth. Beyond My Means is his debut LP.

    Clairaudience Fellowship

    Limited Edition

Clairaudience Fellowship is the new album from Twig Harper and Daniel Higgs, two legendary forces in the realms of experimental/noise/rock/out music.

Twig Harper is a performer and electronic sound artist who began playing guerrilla-and punk-style shows with Scheme, Mini-Systems and Nautical Almanac in the milleu of Wolf Eyes, Andrew W.K. and others involved in the Bulb/Hanson 90s noise/total music movement in Ann Arbor, MI. Moving first to Chicago and then to Baltimore, he has toured widely in the US (five multi-month tours) and Europe (twice) with Carly Ptak and others. With Ptak, he has released many recordings and co-founded the influential Tarantula Hill venue-compound. His music and performances have been characterized generally by an incredible sense of trickery and playfulness, even foolishness, but in earnest and with careful consideration.

Daniel Higgs is a musician and artist from Baltimore, Maryland on whose behalf superlatives are destined to fail. It's not that his artistic output spanning three decades, numerous albums, books of poetry and collections of drawings simply eludes classification, it defies it. Higgs is known for his work as the sole lyricist and frontman of the band Lungfish, a four-piece enshrined as one of America's last true folk bands, and Higgs anointed as a patron saint to artistic purity. That the band has undertaken this pursuit in the guise of a humble rock outfit, in the absence of any public relations fanfare, metanarrative, or manifesto has been enough to endear them to tens of thousands. In recent years, Higgs has released a number of solo outings that can only be described as the ultimate in isolation, worlds away from the hypnotic, communal rock of his band. His latest solo recording Say God was released earlier this year on Thrill Jockey.

    The Unexamined Life

Supreme Dicks put out one single in their career. It was a double B-side. Maybe they had a sense of humor, but in hindsight it's hard to tell.

Falling somewhere between Captain Beefheart, Throbbing Gristle and SALEM in the lineage of musicians who've found a muse in the nasty, brutish brevity of life, Supreme Dicks chose to cloak disarmingly real paranoia and grief in the contemporary trappings of late '80s and early '90s lo-fi college rock. They may have inhabited the same sonic and physical space as colleagues like Dinosaur jr. (Lou Barlow was an occasional Dick, and at least one early Dinosaur jr show was actually played by Dicks in disguise), but they stripped away all youthful yearning and anticipation in favor of a bleak and unblinking certainty. Honest, frank, and free of ironic distance. Obtuse and yet so essential that it can't help but feel familiar to anyone who's ever spent a sleepless night wondering whether there's any point to all of this. And, on occasion, warm, intimate and lovely.

The Supreme Dicks formed while students at Massachusetts' Hampshire College in the twilight of the Reagan era. The campus was a fractured post-hippie free-for-all that many students theorized was a right-wing think tank experiment in pitting progressives against each other. The constantly revolving lineup centered around Daniel Oxenberg, Jon Shere, Steve Shavel, Mark Hanson, Jim Spring, and whoever else was around and willing to torture an instrument. They advocated the teachings of Wilhelm Reich and were vocal about focusing their creative energy via celibacy. This may do much to explain the constant, unrelenting tension that provides the driving force behind the most powerful moments in their music. Regardless of tempo or arrangement, Supreme Dicks songs play like soundtracks to autoerotic asphyxiation, haunting tones that ring in the ears at the moment consciousness is lost and not guaranteed to return.

Jagjaguwar is proud to reintroduce the complete recordings of Supreme Dicks in the form of Breathing and Not Breathing, a four CD set that includes both of the band's studio albums, The Unexamined Life from 1993 and The Emotional Plague from 1996, along with 1994's Workingman's Dick, a collection of early archival recordings, and the 1996 EP This Is Not A Dick, which has been fleshed out with rare and unreleased tracks.
