    Greatest Hits (Pre-Order)

Shelton Hank Williams, better known as Hank III, is an outlaw, a battler of convention. He comes by it naturally: The third generation of Hanks, and the third generation to tilt nobly at country traditions and white-collar establishment sensibilities. After all, this 39-year-old semi-reformed punk-metal drummer is the son of Hank Jr., a blue-collar hero who has difficulty ducking controversy even on something as Richard Nixon and apple pie American as Monday Night Football.

    Their Greatest Hits

Shake 'em up! R&B from the vaults of King/Federal Records!

The lascivious pen of Henry "Hank" Ballard was responsible for many risquÉ odes, including The Midnighters' "Work With Me Annie," "Sexy Ways," and "Get It," major R&B hits of the early '50s all included on 1956's Their Greatest Hits! The FCC banned several of the band's songs from airplay, which only made them that much more desirable for the growing teenage market, and this Sundazed edition-pressed on 180 gram audiophile vinyl at RTI-is the ultimate way to experience the best of the throbbing fury of this storied ensemble at its peak. Hank Williams: I Saw the Light: The Unreleased Recordings

At the peak of his career in 1951, Hank Williams recorded 143 songs for the Mother's Best Flour Company. Hank performed with his regular studio band and recorded his hits as well as songs he never recorded commercially anywhere else. From this amazing legacy, Time Life is proud to release the vinyl version of HANK WILLIAMS: I SAW THE LIGHT: THE UNRELEASED RECORDINGS, a historic collection drawn from the very best of the Mother's Best recordings. It's a rare, informal glimpse into the heart and soul of country music's greatest star who passed away on New Year's Day 1953, at age 29.

These recordings give us a deeper insight into Hank's life and music, showing a personality that had never been revealed previously. In this casual setting, it showcases his humor as he jokes with his band and the emcee, his love of music as he talks unguardedly about his favorite songs, and captures him in his prime. These shows are the first truly three-dimensional portrait of one of the giants of American music. What emerges is a full, rounded portrait of Williams at his creative and commercial peak.

You'll get Cold, Cold Heart, I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry, the Williams-composed gospel classic I Saw the Light and more!

With more than 70 albums to his credit, sales of 55 million records, countless awards including 5-time Entertainer of the Year awards (ACM & CMA), BMI Icon Award, a Grammy, and most recently in 2009 the Academy of Country Music "Pioneer Award," Hank Williams Jr. is a living legend. His discography chronicles a bold profile of growth from adored offspring of a legendary father, to titan of the modern country rock movement in his own right. Those simple words have won Williams an entirely new generation of fans and given him the distinction of being the first country performer to ever win an Emmy.
