One Of 2017's Biggest Blockbuster Films
Fifty Shades Darker is a 2017 American erotic romantic drama film directed by James Foley and written by Niall Leonard, based on the novel of the same name by E. L. James. The second film in the Fifty Shades film series, it is the sequel to the 2015 film Fifty Shades of Grey.
The film stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, respectively, with Eric Johnson, Eloise Mumford, Bella Heathcote, Rita Ora, Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk, Kim Basinger and Marcia Gay Harden in supporting roles.
The film is one of 2017's biggest films and has grossed almost $ 400 million worldwide.
Danny Elfman wrote and composed the score for Fifty Shades Darker. Elfman is best known for his work scoring films and television shows, in particular, his frequent collaborations with director Tim Burton. Among his honors are four Academy Award nominations, a Grammy for Batman, an Emmy for Desperate Housewives, the 2002 Richard Kirk Award, and the Disney Legend Award.
Danny never disappoints his fans and the music for this one is no exception. The music transports you to another world and puts you back in the emotions of different scenes, a perfect contribution of the darkness that shadows over the beauty and romance of the film. When you're a fan of the Fifty Shades Darker series this is a definite must-have for your collection.

Greatest HitsThe legendary pop/rock superstars The Monkees (Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz, Mike Nesmith and Peter Tork) set the music world on fire back in the '60s. With a very successful television show, massive concert tours, and of course an amazing string of number one albums and hit singles, The Monkees to this day are still revered and loved by their continual growing legion of fans worldwide.
In 1969, Colgems Records honored these hugely popular rockers with their first hits album simply titled The Monkees Greatest Hits. Filled with a treasure trove of number one singles and hit album tracks from their first five smash albums, this incredible LP also provided the soundtrack to their successful syndicated television run of The Monkees on Saturday mornings.
No stone is left unturned, as this 14-track masterpiece is loaded with hit singles like Daydream Believer, Last Train To Clarksville, Im A Believer, Pleasant Valley Sunday, Valleri, (Im Not Your) Steppin Stone, plus the appearance of a rare stereo mix of A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You that was only available on this original vinyl album.
As one of the most rare albums in their Colgems Records catalog, The Monkees Greatest Hits was only in print for a very short time, making it an instant collectors item, which hasnt seen the light of day for over four decades, that is until now!
Friday Music presents for the first time on audiophile vinyl, The Monkees Greatest Hits. The Summer Of Love's First Album .... Re-Visited.... Re-Imagined...
The Monkees Headquarters/ Stack-O-Tracks
The Original Instrumental Backing Tracks To Their Most Celebrated Album
First Time Authorized Alternate Artwork
Yes... The Monkees Could Play Guitars, Bass, Drums, Piano, Steel Guitar, Organ, Banjo, Tambourine, Percussion..... and Play Them Well!!!
In 1967 after two number one albums, a plethora of hit singles and a smash television show, The Monkees were on top and knew they each had true musical talents not championed by their label executives. Michael Nesmith spearheaded a change in direction before sessions began on their legendary Headquarters album. This action resulted in the much-covered dissolution with music mogul Don Kirshner, as Chip Douglas (The Turtles) was now recruited by Nesmith to work with the band.
In rapid succession, things began to fall into place in February 1967. With initial tracks like country rocker Sunny Girlfriend, the band set the stage for what would become one of the most loved works in their catalog and one of the finest rock albums of a generation. A definite album opener, You Told Me begins Headquarters. The track features a brilliant 12 string guitar of Nesmith, as Tork's incredible banjo fills the track alongside Dolenz's driving drum work. With Jones' percussion, it became the very first song that many of us remember as we opened up our new copies back in the summer of '67. Not straying too far from previous success, the band scored a few more of Boyce and Hart compositions like Micky Dolenz's folk rock ballad I'll Spend My Life With You. The solid steel guitar work of Mike Nesmith became somewhat of a precursor to his groundbreaking Nashville sessions in the late sixties. Davy Jones has several watershed moments here with both Forget That Girl and Early Morning Blues and Greens Forget That Girl employs a unique English northern soul vibe, while the latter shares a wonderful rhythm presentation making it one of the more psychedelic infused and standout tracks on the LP. Michael Nesmith's handiwork is radiant on the entire album. You May Just Be The One rocks the album into full gear and makes it one of his and the bands' definitive landmark tracks. Headquarters also brought rightful acclaim to Peter Tork, as his first recorded Monkees' song For Pete's Sake soon became a prolific standard. The song transcended with the times and became one of the more insightful tunes from the quartet. It also replaced the familiar Monkees Theme at the end of season two, giving the song more TV exposure over the years. And as always, you can count on Micky Dolenz to deliver - whether it's his hard rock driving drum work on rockers like Randy Scouse Git & No Time, or his prog-rock feel on Mr. Webster, the album was definitely a great showcase for the artist.
The Monkees' Headquarters was one of 4 albums of The Monkees that topped the charts in 1967. This fact alone is enough to warrant the importance of this album in musical history. But there are other amazing feats that Headquarters managed to deliver to millions of fans on its eventful release back in May of 1967. The album hit the stores before Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles. Friendly rivals as they were, Headquarters rose to number one and also opened the door to The Summer of Love. It remained in the upper rung of the retail charts until their fourth platter Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. became a number one album to close out the year. Wow! Most notably, Headquarters showed the real world the transition of four talented guys on a hit TV show evolving into a self-produced, self-reliant, and one of the most loved bands in musical history, and yes, they could actually play their instruments .and they did it well!
As another installment in our extensive Monkees catalog, Friday Music is pleased to announce a unique revisit to their third masterwork as we've now gone back to the original backing tracks and have assembled a fun and exciting instrumental Lp with The Monkees Headquarters Stack-O-Tracks. For this limited edition Friday Music release, we are pleased to offer for the first time on vinyl, the rare backing instrumental backing tracks, newly and impeccably mastered by Joe Reagoso (The Monkees/Brian Wilson) from the original Colgems Records masterwork.
Joe Reagoso notes You've never heard 'Shades Of Gray' until you hear the strings up front like you will on this new vinyl release. Michael Nesmith's work on 'You May Just Be The One' is beyond thrilling, you feel like you are in the studio with the band as they knock out this and other Monkees classics. From beginning to end, song after song, we always knew how special Headquarter was, and now this further showcases the artistry and musical acumen each man brought to the sessions. Truly a crowning achievement. To further enhance your Monkees listening enjoyment, we are also pressing the limited edition album on clear 180 Gram audiophile vinyl, as well as including a revisit to the original album cover artwork, now with the rare Monkees beard photo not issued on vinyl in many years, and first time authorized colorization effects to the original artwork to celebrate fifty years of this classic rock album for the fans. 1967 ..The Summer Of Love A very hip time in our American culture you can now relive with these newly impeccably mastered recordings from the much-loved band that broke a lot of ground in a very short time and made the world a much better place for it The Monkees Headquarters Stack-O- Tracks Only From Your Friends At Friday Music!1. FRKWYS Vol. 11 - Contos De LisboaFor the the eleventh volume of FRKWYS, an unrestricted series pairing contemporary
artists with their influential predecessors, gifted guitar squire Steve Gunn meets roving,
radiating legend Mike Cooper in Lisbon, Portugal.
Sharing their vision over lengthy living room guitar sessions and evenings of cold wine
in Fado taverns, Gunn and Cooper created Cantos de Lisboa, an album with variable
vernacular shades and musical forms from Portugal's antiquity.
Cantos means "corner" in Portuguese, as well as "chant" or "song" (this latter meaning
evolved from the Latin antecedent referring to stanzas of verse in poetry). For two artists
whose roots lie in the country blues and its subverted offshoots, the proverbial "corner"
is actually home, the undisturbed spot where music can flourish.
A tranquil interlude for these two travellers to create off-guard improvisations in their
shared style of deconstructed guitar music, Cantos de Lisboa is a curious detail in the
periphery of their snapshot of Portugal.
In his fifty-year-plus career, Cooper's global ventures have transported his music to
exotic locales parallel to Lisbon. 2004's Rayon Hula musically translated the patterned
flora of aloha shirts (Cooper's signature garment) as looped samples of famed Hawaiian
vibraphone player Arthur Lyman for an avant vivified form of exotica.
Rayon Hula signaled Cooper's vital re-emergence as a dexterous alchemist of slide
guitar. Cooper's discography is colored with similar instances of casually conceptual,
improvisatory guitar music, including his 1970 masterpiece Trout Steel (an album Gunn
recalls in Cantos de Lisboa's liner notes as shaping his own ambitions and music).
For his part, Gunn's path to Portugal was compelled by his kinship to Cooper and
his ilk's experimentation with guitar-picked country blues and 70s British folk. Gunn's
extracurricular immersion in free jazz and psychedelia, no doubt influenced by his
Philadelphia upbringing and surroundings, ensures his playing never grits or grids and
always soars to ecstatic heights.
These musical emblems were gracefully memorialized on Gunn's celebrated Time
Off (Paradise of Bachelors, 2013) and across a substantial catalog of solo, duo and
ensemble work that resembles that of a veteran player more than a young guitar
On Cantos de Lisboa, Gunn and Cooper take emotive cues from Fado, the regional
music of Portugal, which is in close plaintive spirit to the blues. A melancholy seeps into
the music, while steering a wide berth from any bummer notes or pastiche. Cooper's
sparse effects toolkit and stately, gliding cadences are nimbly employed, while Gunn's
ashen voice and steady strum lend an intensely organic feel to the album's improvisatory
The latter half of Cantos de Lisboa echoes the "saudade" theme as referenced in
the blissful opening track, Cooper's howl spiriting the Portuguese word that translates
roughly into "loss" or "longing." Saudade is said to be the core feature of Fado music. In
Cantos de Lisboa, Saudade becomes a spirit inhabiting the album's corners, but never
disrupting the musicians' collaborative evocations.
In the hands of these two limitless guitarists, Cantos de Lisboa convenes in an abstract,
almost field recorded take on lap-steel and American Primitive guitar styles. For the
brief idyll, Gunn and Cooper's collaboration is remarkably rich, marking their passage
through Portugal not just as a time to revel in an ancient city, but a time for focused
collaboration and creative consonance.1. Saudade Do Santos-o-Velho

RelapseAnticipation for Eminem's new studio album Relapse has been building since the fall, when the hip hop superstar first announced the album title and debuted the freestyle, I'm Having A Relapse, during an interview on his Shade 45 satellite radio station. The release of Crack A Bottle from Eminem, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent brought that anticipation to a head. The track soared to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Eminem's second #1 after 2002's Lose Yourself) and set a Nielsen SoundScan record for opening week download sales. Crack A Bottle will be included as an album track on Relapse.
With the announcement of the release date for Relapse also comes confirmation of something that had been rumored in recent weeks: Eminem is already working on a follow-up album, Relapse 2, that fans can expect in the second half of 2009. A lot of people were expecting Relapse to drop last year, explains Eminem. I was one of them. Then Dre and I went back in the studio in September for a few days, and that turned into six months. We were on such a roll; we wound up with a ton of new music produced by Dre. Putting out Relapse 2 will let everyone get all of the best stuff.1. Dr. West (Skit)

Every March 17 on St. Patrick's Day, New York City merely paints a green line down the center of its Fifth Avenue parade route-a stunt easily pulled off by any city-but only Chicago dyes an entire river the perfect shade of emerald green to honor Irish culture. Why green? Thanks to Ireland's lush vegetation, the island is often lovingly referred to as the Emerald Isle. To the Irish, a green display of pride is not to be taken lightly. In the United States, even those of non-Irish descent know to wear green clothing on St. Patrick's Day, or else be playfully pinched by an Irish friend or colleague! But it's one thing to don a green shirt or tie, another thing altogether to transform a 156-mile long river. Chicago's Stephen M. Bailey, the man who orchestrated the transformation, boasted that he'd turn the River Chicago into the River Shannon (Ireland's longest) for a day, and, eventually, he did.
There was no specific recipe for successfully dyeing a river. A bit of trial and error was required. Initially, over 100 pounds of dye was used, and the river stayed green for a week! In the second year, 50 pounds of dye kept the river green for three full days. In the third year, it was found that using 25 pounds of dye would turn the river green for a single day. Two years later, environmental concerns led to the formation of a new vegetable-based dye that produces a perfect sea of green and lasts for four or five hours-40 pounds of the stuff does the trick. Following suit across the nation, major canals, minor creeks, city blocks, drinking fountains, and even the Presidential Fountain at the White House are dyed green for St. Patrick's Day-all thanks to the wonderful example set in Chicago.
SOLID LONG-GRAIN COPPER (LGC) CONDUCTORS: Solid conductors eliminate strand-interaction distortion. Chicago's solid Long-Grain Copper allows a smoother and clearer sound than cables using regular OFHC (Oxygen-Free High-Conductivity) copper. OFHC is a general metal industry specification regarding "loss" without any concern for distortion. LGC has fewer oxides within the conducting material, less impurities, less grain boundaries, and definitively better performance.
NITROGEN-INJECTED HARD-CELL FOAM INSULATION: Nitrogen-Injected Hard-Cell Foam insulation is used exclusively in most of AudioQuest's video and digital audio cables. Similar to Foamed-PE, it is nitrogen-injected to create air pockets. 'Hard' foam is used because the stiffness of the material allows the conductors in the cable to maintain the same relationship with each other along the full length of the cable, thus ensuring that the characteristic impedance of the cable is consistent.
METAL-LAYER NOISE-DISSIPATION SYSTEM (NDS): 100% shield coverage is easy. Preventing captured RF Interference from modulating the equipment's ground reference requires AQ's Noise-Dissipation System. Noise-Dissipation System prevents a significant amount of RFI from reaching the equipment's ground plane.
DOUBLE-BALANCED GEOMETRY: Two ideal audio conductors separate from the cable's shield. Not only does this prevent the shield from being used as an inferior audio path, but it further optimizes sound quality by only grounding the shield at one end, reducing system ground-plane modulation.
COLD-WELDED GOLD-PLATED PLUGS: This plug design allows for a connection devoid of solder, which is a common source of distortion. Because the ground shells are stamped instead of machined, the metal can be chosen for low distortion instead of machinability.$64.00Analog-Audio Interconnect Cable (Pair) - Multiple Lengths Available Buy Now

The Divine Miss M (On Sale)Numbered Limited Edition
Midler's Grammy-Winning 1972 Debut Announces the Birth of a Superstar
Record Overflows With Energy and Personality: Torch Songs, Girl-Group Classics, Campy Remakes, Theatrical Pieces Delivered With Supreme Emotion
Mastered on Mobile Fidelity's World-Renowned Mastering System and Pressed at RTI (Best Plant in North America): Midler's Voice Upfront and Centered, Every Nuance of Her Phrasing Laid Bare
Oh, behave! Bette Midler's sparkling, energy-pulsing 1972 debut features the singer honing her trademark brassy personality as well as showing off an intimate, raw edge that fell by the wayside later in her career. Witness her forlorn, melancholic, and heartbroken moods, all conveyed with supreme emotion on several riveting ballads. But this LP is no downer. Midler offsets any bleakness with playfully campy songs laced with unadulterated enthusiasm and joyous defiance. This is a diva lover's delight. The music is astonishingly alive. A superstar is born!
Mastered on Mobile Fidelity's world-renowned mastering system and pressed at RTI (the best record plant in North America), Silver Label numbered limited edition LP presents The Divine Miss M with the warmly cozy and front-row perspective that the music demands. Midler's voice is transparent and full, the timbrel shadings colorfully outlined, the vocal images appearing as if she's singing just a few feet away. Similarly, her cast of back-up vocalists (the Harlettes) receives ample face time on songs that come across as if performed by a girl-group revue. Midler has cut many records in her career but none are this entertaining, diversified, and, now, sonically spectacular.
There's always risk associated with interpreting other artists' classics and hits, but Midler makes every song here her own. She injects Chapel of Love with extra swagger and feminine gusto. In her hands, the Carpenters' Superstar becomes more heartbreaking, filled with desolate sentiment and lonesome ache. John Prine's ballad Hello In There echoes, as if sung to an empty room, with forlorn emotion. The 50s smash Leader of the Pack positively stomps and declares, her band in tow, that she's not going to be stopped. Indeed, Midler's interpretations of these staples surpass the previous versions, mostly due to her impeccable strong vocals and contagious passion. She doesn't quit. And don't you dare decline her offer on Do You Want to Dance!
What else can be said of her trademark Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, her update of the Andrews Sisters' jazzy hit landing in the Top 10, featuring a scat vocal (!), and smartly walking the line between campy fun and serious reverence. Similarly, Midler's two takes of Friends--the first off-the-cuff, wild, snappy, and humorous; the second slightly cooler and infused with gorgeous harmonies--remain modern marvels. There's not a bad note on this incredible record.
The Divine Miss M has always been prized for its clear, clean production. Mobile Fidelity's Silver Series LP further improves the sound, which, in combination with Midler's performances, make this collectible reissue an absolute no-brainer!

The All Time Greatest Hits of Roy Orbison (Awaiting Repress) (On Sale)
180g 2LP Set Pressed At RTI Contains Four Songs Named To Rolling Stone's List Of 500 Greatest Songs Of All Time
Collection Influenced Tom Petty, Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, And Hundreds Of Other Legends
Rare is the voice, personality, and image that defines cool for more than 50 years. But Roy Orbison simply had it all - the tender tone, the laidback charisma, the mellifluous baritone, the cover-magazine looks, the gazing eyes hidden behind black Ray-Ban shades. And of course, the songs. Sad (Only the Lonely). Soaring (Crying). Summery (Dream Baby). Sweet (Blue Angel). Sentimental (Pretty Paper). Sensuous (Shahdaroba).
Few singers ever captured such a rainbow of romantic emotions - longing, heartache, hope, loss, melancholy - with such effortlessness, smoothness, and suaveness. An early rock n' roll pioneer that defied songwriting tradition, Orbison is at home whether playing with orchestral strings, rockabilly bands, doo-wop singers, jumping horn sections, or swinging pop groups. Like fellow Sun Records alums Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley, his art is timeless, his command irreproachable.
No wonder, then, that a basic search literally turns up dozens upon dozens of compilations. Demand for Orbison's trademark vocal shiver and pussycat purr has never been greater. But with so many duplicative collections available, which one to get? Mobile Fidelity recognized that none of the available releases had the necessary mark of quality - namely, first-rate sound. So we changed that by providing a necessary sonic update to the best collection - a 1972 set that has never once gone out-of-print.
Remastered from the original analog master tapes for the first time ever, here are all of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member's finest singles for Monument Records in one place, all claiming a clarity, richness, tonality, and presence that has never been before experienced outside of the studio. Captured by legendary producer Fred Foster, Orbison's famous voice now reverberates with a realistic decay and astonishing purity that puts all previous compilations to shame.
And there's no arguing with the 20-song track list, which includes no fewer than 15 Top 100 singles, beginning with the career-launching Only the Lonely and climaxing with the international smash Oh, Pretty Woman, the last cut the Grammy winner made for Monument before departing for MGM in 1965. There is not a weak tune on this album, and you will never hear them sound better.

Unsung HeroesTitled `Unsung Heroes' and produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, Sentenced, Apocalyptica, etc.), this is the hour-plus follow-up to 2009's `From Afar', and sees the Finnish five-piece, founded in 1995, pushing their signature sound to bold new heights of drama and excess. A cinematic experience from first note to last, `Unsung Heroes' takes the listener on a journey of genuine light & shade, with the 16 minute-plus `Passion Proof Power' showing that when it comes to the epic statement, Ensiferum are very much in the front-line, swords at the ready. 'We've tried to push the different aspects of what we do as far as we can,' reflects the band, 'the sonic scope is wider than ever. The folk elements go further down that path and the metallic parts will absolutely rip your face off!' Hoods And Shades (Out Of Stock)Andre Mr. Rhythm Williams is a perfect study in the mysterious, multifaceted power of music. Throughout his 50+ year career as a performer, songwriter, and producer, he has seen how music can define the individual, how music is widely perceived, how it can alter a soul for better or worse, and now how it can simply be used to describe things you just don't understand the overriding theme of this release.
As the story goes: during the summer of 2010, Andre got together with his Detroit boys to record, as he called it, the Andre Williams folk album. Hoods and Shades is the result, nine songs created by music roadmen led by THE music roadman. The album plays out like an afternoon hangout among music peers, speaking of experiences through their instruments, dynamic stylings, and overall touch.1. Dirt
