    Goods (Awaiting Repress)

One of the most eagerly anticipated releases of 2011, Citizen Fish's eighth full-length album Goods follows the success of their Alternative Tentacles/Fat Wreck Chords split with Leftover Crack. Citizen Fish formed in Bath, England, in 1989 following the splits of their previous bands Subhumans and Culture Shock. They have delivered their unique ska-infused punk rock to eager audiences while touring across the world the past two decades. Dick Lucas's frantic vocal delivery combined with the catchy riffs and driving punk of their unforgettable live performances continues to earn the band legions of new fans and brings working class radical politics to generations of questioning minds. These guys are masters at mixing punk with ska, and they top it off with sharply observed, politically charged lyrics.

Get Dead started out performing together in 2007 after their respective bands called it quits and eventually attracted the attention of NOFX frontman Fat Mike who produced the band's latest full-length, Bad News and released it on his label Fat Wreck Chords.

Beyond their unique amalgam of musical stylings, there is also the highly charged message behind the Cobra Skulls music, both of which are on full display on their Fat Wreck Chords debut Bringing the War Home. Their disdain for the modern human condition far surpasses the typical targets of most punk bands; transcending class, creed and dogma, nothing is safe from their scope. All five songs that comprise Bringing the War Home exemplify this, delivered on the crest of Devin's soulful vocals, and driven by Cobra Skulls' contagious invigorating music.

Born On The First Of July

Canada's proudest pop-punk progenies CHIXDIGGIT! have had an enduring career pumping out some of the catchiest, fast paced, fun laden melodies ever written. With an unwavering dedication to their proven formula of cheeky lyrics and to-the-point music, CHIX have created a vast catalog of pop-punk classics over their more than 20 years as a band. While it's true that a classic never dies, it never hurts to take it off the shelf and polish it up every once in a while. This is exactly what the band decided to do with their two definitive releases Born On the First of July and From Scene To Shining Scene. Both albums were originally released on Honest Don's (a former subsidiary of Fat Wreck Chords) to great acclaim, but never quite received all the attention that they deserved.

Vinyl fans will be elated to hear that both (previously out of print) LPs will be individually reissued (remastered and with bonus tracks). This time around these albums will be official Fat Wreck Chords releases too, affording them the broader visibility they warrant.

Which is why Israeli miscreants Useless ID are not only the longstanding ambassadors of Middle East punk rock, but they're also way punker than you. The 12 tracks on Symptoms ooze with all the irresistible appeal of songs popularized by genre heavyweights Rise Against, No Use For A Name, and Alkaline Trio, yet clearly maintain a cohesive and unique perspective from start to finish.

    Double Plaidinum (2LP)

As the first band ever signed to Fat Wreck Chords, Lagwagon displayed a uniquely melodic brand of technical speedy pop punk that eventually established the band as a bellwether of the modern pop-punk movement. With more than 20 years of material at their disposal, the idea of honoring the band's vast influence by compiling a 'best of' album came about. Joey (singer, songwriter and driving force behind Lagwagon) had a decidedly different take on the functionality of a greatest hits collection, believing that there is so much more to a band's legacy than their hits.

Instead of limiting the scope of, and essentially artistically neutering their original material for future generation, the band agreed to go the opposite direction and expose the evolution of Lagwagon. Recognizing the sacramental status of their first five albums (Duh, Trashed, Hoss, Double Plaidinum and Let's Talk About Feelings) within the punk world, the band set to work, culling the archives in order to create one of the most comprehensive audio narratives ever compiled.

The resulting 5 re-releases are nothing short of spectacular. Each album boasts the original track listing alongside demos, outtakes, EP's, B-sides and unstructured jams from the accompanying era (including tons of previously unreleased material), all remastered from the original analog tapes. All 5 albums are also repackaged with expanded artwork including never before seen photos and an oral history provided by the band members.

Released in 1997, Lagwagon's fourth full-length album Double Plaidinum is their first without the original line-up as as guitarist Shawn Dewey and drummer Derrick Plourde both left the band prior to its recording. The band's take on the crossover success of other melodic punk acts at the time is parodied with the album's tongue-in-cheek cover art. This Fat Wreck Chords vinyl reissue of Double Plaidinum consists of a remastered version of the original album plus demos, outtakes, EP's and B-sides.

    Hoss (2LP)

1995's Hoss finds Lagwagon straight outta the Ponderosa and riding back into town with six-strings a blazin. The 14-song set of hoe-down punk hits could make even Lorne Greene envious.
