    Lindsey Buckingham / Christine McVie

Longtime members of Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie have joined together to record their first-ever album as a duo. Simply titled LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM/CHRISTINE McVIE, the 10-song album will be released by Rhino Records.

The collaboration began three years ago when McVie rejoined Fleetwood Mac for the group's "On With The Show" tour. The pair went in to record new material prior to rehearsals for the tour and their natural creative chemistry was reignited. According to Buckingham, "We were exploring a creative process, and the identity of the project took on a life organically. The body of work felt like it was meant to be a duet album. We acknowledged that to each other on many occasions, and said to ourselves, 'what took us so long?!!'"

Working their natural singer-songwriter skills together came easily for the duo. Said Christine McVie, "We've always written well together, Lindsey and I, and this has just spiraled into something really amazing that we've done between us."

Sessions for the album took place at The Village Studios in Los Angeles, which is where Fleetwood Mac recorded several of their classic albums, including Tusk. Buckingham and McVie were joined in the studio by fellow bandmates Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, who supplied much of the dynamic rhythmic engine.

It's a huge honor for East West and WMG to partner with two of the best artists in rock history who've written, recorded and performed some of the most popular and enduring music of all time. 'Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie' is a very special collaborative album that showcases both of their stunning talents," said Dan Chalmers, President Rhino, East West & ADA UK. We're very proud of our long and ongoing relationship with the band and confident that this record will be loved and enjoyed by Fleetwood Mac and music fans the world over.

    I'm A Man / Don't Want To Cry

A most legendary lost recording - the single that never was!!! Here's the Buckinghams' extreme-fuzz-fest take on Bo Diddley's "I'm a Man" - a track found only on a mere handful of first pressings of the band's initial longplayer. It is beyond INSANE! We've paired it with the ultra-rare single version of "Don't Want to Cry," which features the wild, extended, full-on guitar break. Breathtaking stuff, for sure! Sourced from the original analog U.S.A. Records masters, this 45 is the missing piece of any serious garage collector's library. Grab your copy NOW and turn it WAY up!

2131 South Michigan Avenue: 60's Garage And Psychedelia From USA And Destination Records

Though the 60s garage band explosion was felt in every corner ofthe country, the local uprising of talent in Chicago thrived unlike anywhere else. The Windy City had the perfect infrastructure in place; from a booming population of teenagers, to hip music stores in every suburb, a proliferation of teen clubs willing to take their money, and a powerhouse radio station (WLS) equally up to promoting local bands. When it came to giving local groups a shot at 45 rpm fame, no Chicago labelnot even the hallowed Dunwich Recordswas more prolific than USA Records. USAs Jim Golden was such a strong supporter of Midwest talent that he started up a second label focused solely in this area, Destination Records.

A quarter century into the CD age, its hard to believe these pivotal labels have never been properly anthologized. Until now, that is! Sundazed once again arrives to the rescue with an exhaustive dive into the pure, undiluted garage side of USA and Destination Records; tapping into everything from priceless artifacts from the Lost Agency, the Foggy Notions, and Park Avenue Playground to label hitmakers the Buckinghams, the Cryan Shames, and the Flock at their most rockin. Theres so much impossibly great music on these labels, we had to expand this collection to 40 tracks.

The album artwork is stuffed with rare photos, band bios, and an interview with the legendary Jim Golden. For a full course of Chicago 66 garage at its finest, look no further than 2131 South Michigan Avenue: 60s Garage & Psychedelia from USA and Destination Records!

    Tusk

Despite having extra large shoes to fill as the follow-up to the group's landmark 1977 release Rumours and an unprecedented $1 million recording budget, Fleetwood Mac's ambitious and experimental 1979 double album Tusk further showcases the songwriting prowess and musical direction of Lindsey Buckingham and their chart dominance with the title track and "Sara."

Drawing comparisons to the Beatles White Album for its artistic scope and sprawling nature, the wonderfully eclectic and drug induced Tusk may not have been as commercially viable as Rumours, which not many albums are, but it stands as a brave and uncompromising statement from a band with one of the most intriguing interpersonal dynamics of all-time.

And as Priya Elan of NME aptly notes, "The subversion of what was expected after 'Rumours' and the creative space it created also gave the band (and primarily Buckingham) reason to continue making music in Fleetwood Mac for the next decade."

    Life Becoming A Landslide

Limited Edition Of 500 Copies Pressed On 140 Gram Vinyl

The recording on this release, a show performed in October '75 by the Mac-McVie-McVie- Buckingham-Nicks line up, three months after the release of their first album together, is an early illustration of the new Fleetwood Mac in their initial phase. Their eponymously titled album had not at this point charted and the single 'Over My Head' had only reached No. 20 on Billboard. However, listening to this broadcast concert today it is not difficult to understand how it was that within another year Fleetwood Mac would be among the biggest rock bands on the planet.

Sonic Sensation: Cut from the Original Analog Master Tapes at Bernie Grundman Mastering

1975 Set Fleetwood Mac's Commercial and Creative Breakthrough: 1st Album With Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham

Includes Hits Over My Head, Rhiannon, Say You Love Me and Staples Landslide and Monday Morning

An Audiophile Blockbuster: Don't Pass Up One of the Most Essential Rock-Pop Albums Ever Recorded on this Absolutely Lifelike-Sounding Pressing

The Chain, for all intents and purposes, starts here. Few, if any bands in history, experienced a rebirth on par with that of Fleetwood Mac, which partially accounts for why this 1975 set is self-titled. With the addition of Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham finally solidifying the ensemble's rotating lineup, the record signifies a new beginning, a rejuvenated sound, and a melodic purpose that quickly helped the co-ed group become the biggest band in the world.

Recorded in three months and aided by a surfeit of material brought to the fold by Nicks and Buckingham, Fleetwood Mac is a monster album, a five-million-plus-selling effort that set a new record for the amount of weeks spent on the Billboard charts before finally hitting number one and the home to Top 40 singles Over My Head, Rhiannon, and Say You Love Me. Moreover, it marks the introduction to the chemistry, interplay, and connectivity established by a quintet whose singing, songwriting, and harmonizing abilities at the time hadn't a peer.

The first of three consecutive landmark Fleetwood Mac recordings, this refreshing rock-pop landmark opened the floodgates of commercial success, crossing over to both AM and FM radio and steadily winning coverts all across the world. The reasons relate to the impeccable selection of songs and heartfelt performances, whether it's Nicks' unforgettable reflectiveness on Landslide, Buckingham's warm pleas on Say You Love Me, or the cozy romp of Monday Morning, fittingly a lead-off number that related to the emotional games and pain that would characterize so much of the band's iconic work.

Cut at Bernie Grundman Mastering from the original analog tapes and pressed at 45RPM, this version presents the music in the absolute best fidelity it's ever (and ever will) enjoyed. As realistic, dynamic, wide-open, organic, and airy as the critically acclaimed pressing of Rumours, this deluxe set portrays the fingerpicked acoustic guitars, swelling choral voices, jazzy percussion, and every last breath of the lead singing turns with utmost transparency.

Nostalgia for albums recorded in the mid-70s will immediately come to light, as this pressing simply glows and presents the listeners with scads of information that even those that have heard this masterpiece hundreds of times have never noticed.

    Fleetwood Mac Greatest Hits

Greatest Hits is a 1988 compilation album by British-American band Fleetwood Mac. It covers the period of the band's greatest commercial success, from the mid-1970s to the late 1980s.
The Fleetwood Mac of 1970, before Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined the group, was primarily a British blues band. These songs, recorded after the departure of band leader Peter Green and the release of their fourth album, Kiln House show a broadening of the band's use of blues into other contexts with new musical influences. Fleetwood Mac continues today as one of the most enduring and successful rock bands in history.

    Teaspoon To The Ocean

Born in Louisville, raised in Georgia, educated in Michigan and bouncing between California and New York ever since, he has spent the last decade exploring a variety of approaches to psychedelic collage. In his audio
recordings, songs, videos, sculptures, digital paintings, chalk murals & written work he has attempted to harness the humour and ambiguous poignancy specific to the experience of dreaming.

The latest addition to Schuster-Craig's unique and under-exposed body of work comes in the form of Teaspoon To The Ocean, his debut album for Weird World. The eleven acid-country pop songs of Teaspoon To The
Ocean combine the cut-up lyrical style of avant garde literary great Gertrude Stein with influences ranging from Lindsay Buckingham to Meat Puppets by way of Roy Orbison, Gary Numan and Indonesian Campursari
    and Vietnamese slide guitar playing.

    Time To Die

A cultural as well as a musical force, ELECTRIC WIZARD has left an indelible mark on a host of different genres, the likes of doom, stoner and sludge; at heart, however, they stand as an iconic British metal band, cast in the great tradition, with lyrics and artwork reflecting the hypnotic weight of the music, and subject to the same intelligence and detail.

Wreathed in occult ritual and drug-culture references, with classic '70s horror an inspirational seam, ELECTRIC WIZARD is poised to turn a page; there's the new deal with Spinefarm Records, plus - after a nine-year hiatus - the return of Mark Greening (the drummer on Dopethrone), who completes the lineup of Oborn, American guitarist Liz Buckingham, a key member since 2003, and new bassist Clayton Burgess (SATAN'S SATYRS).

Fueled by strong emotion and the harder sounds of late-'60s Detroit, the remodeled lineup - isolated by choice, giant stacks glowing red - set about crafting an eighth studio album to both rival and exceed the milestone recordings of the past, with Buckingham keeping things suitably monolithic and the band generally looking back to some of their earliest influences. Toerag Studios in London was once again charged with capturing The Sound, and (encouragingly) words like raw, hateful and sickeningly heavy are being traded.

Founding member Jus Oborn said the following: All of our albums in the past have had a theme - revenge, drugs, black magick - and the theme of this one is death. Of course, death to us really means rebirth, so this album is a manifestation of a very primal occult belief in the final sacrifice. We have gone full circle - it was inevitable, but we had to do it. We had to kill the band so we could be reborn. It was the only way to ensure we could come back even stronger.

    Happy Jawbone Family Band

Limited, Hand Numbered First Edition LP

Recorded With Travis Taverniere (Woods And Meneguar)

Art By Rob Carmichael/Seen Studio (Animal Collective, Cloud Nothings, Etc )

Freewheeling Brattleboro, VT rock/folk wonderments the Happy Jawbone Family Band bring their latest full-length to Mexican Summer. What they've entrusted us to give to you represents their nest and most directly fullling effort to date. The energy and humor of early releases remains; that band you may have loved before has grown even stronger and more potent, its songs now monuments to individualism, to longing, to happier endings resulting from imperfect circumstances. Binding folk, indie rock and pop forms together is easy enough; it's what this band does with them, how it builds its sentiments and bursts preconceptions, that put them in a place where these musicians can rest, comfortably above and apart from almost every band working in this same terrain today. We're hearing the trippiest moments of the Beatles, Lindsey Buckingham at the peaks he reached on Tusk, and both poles of American post-punk songwriting royalty, Camper Van Beethoven at one end and Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 at the other. Try it on.

    Warren Zevon (1st)

Warren Zevon is a Rock & Roll album recorded in 1975 and released in 1976 by the artist of the same name. The album features guest appearances of artists like Jackson Browne, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, Phil Everly, Don Henley and Glenn Frey, Bonnie Raitt and many more.

Warren Zevon was a ten-year music industry veteran who had written songs for The Turtles, backed up Phil Everly, done years of session work, and been befriended by Jackson Browne by the time he cut his self-titled album in 1976. Zevon sure didn't think (or write) like any of his pals in the Eagles or Fleetwood Mac; Zevon's music was full of blood, bile, and mean-spirited irony, and the glossy surfaces of Jackson Browne's production failed to disguise the bitter heart of the songs on Warren Zevon.

For all their darkness, Zevon's songs also possessed a steely intelligence, a winning wit, and an unusually sophisticated melodic sense, and he certainly made the most of the high-priced help who backed him on the album. This was the album that confirmed he was a major talent, and it remains a black-hearted Pop delight.

Fleetwood Mac, one of rock's most enduring, beloved and successful bands, celebrates the 35th anniversary of its smash Rumours, with a deluxe version. Rumours made Fleetwood Mac one of the most iconic bands of the 1970s and garnered wide critical praise, earned the Grammy for Album of the Year, and has now sold more than 40 million copies worldwide since its 1977 debut.

Three CDs in this deluxe edition include the original album and the B-side Silver Springs, a dozen unreleased live recordings from the group's 1977 world tour, and an entire disc filled with unreleased takes from the album's recording sessions. The deluxe edition also includes an additional disc of outtakes, a DVD that features The Rosebud Film - a 1977 documentary about the album - and the album on vinyl.

Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks recorded Rumours against a backdrop personal turmoil, chronicling their raw emotions in songs like Go Your Own Way, Gold Dust Woman and Dreams, the latter becoming the band's first number one smash.

The disc of 12 unreleased live recordings from the band's 1977 Rumours tour features performances from concerts in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Nashville and Columbia, S.C. The songs include album tracks like The Chain, Oh Daddy and Songbird as well as World Turning and Rhiannon, two tracks from the group's 1975 eponymous release.

Producers also have compiled a selection of 16 unreleased recordings from the album's sessions including early takes of Go Your Own Way, I Don't Want To Know and the popular B-side Silver Springs. There are also several demo recordings, including one for the outtake Planets of the Universe, plus an instrumental version of Never Going Back Again.

The deluxe edition of Rumours also features three additional pieces. First is an 18-track compilation of session outtakes originally released in the 2004 reissue of the album. Next is the original album on 140-gram vinyl. Finally, there is a DVD with The Rosebud Film. This 1977 documentary by Michael Collins includes interviews, rehearsal footage and live performances of: World Turning, Rhiannon, Say You Love Me, Go Your Own Way, You Make Loving Fun and I'm So Afraid.

    Tall Tall Shadow

Tall Tall Shadow, the third album by Toronto singer-songwriter Basia Bulat, is the bravest album she has made. Raw and spectral, heartbroken, yet jubilant, these ten songs tell the story of a very hard year in the artist's life and all the love that helped her through it.

Whereas the singer's past two LPs, including 2008's Polaris-nominated Oh, My Darling, were made in Montreal's all-analogue Hotel 2 Stango studio, Tall Tall Shadow is a more modern thing. This is a record with echo and reverb, electronic flutters and electric autoharp, voices that charge and incandesce around buzzing guitars, lonely piano and rattling percussion.

To get to this place, Bulat co-produced the album with, Tim Kingsbury and Mark Lawson. Kingsbury, a member of Arcade Fire, can play anything and everything, she says. Lawson, who has worked on records with Akron/Family and Colin Stetson, and who won a Grammy for his work on Arcade Fire's The Suburbs, is a studio alchemist, someone who hears things hidden in songs, who is always keen to transform them.

They started recording in Toronto, at a reverberating 60-year-old dance hall. Once again, Bulat put together a band: her brother, the punk-inclined drummer Bobby Bulat; Holly Coish on keys and backing vocals; Kingsbury and Ben Whiteley on guitars and bass. One song features Whiteley's father, the folk legend Ken Whiteley, on gospel organ. But Tall Tall Shadow isn't acoustic folk music: like Beck's Sea Change or Buckingham Nicks, chord and strum are a launch-pad for wilder sounds.

Bulat's goal was to keep challenging herself. Promise Not to Think About Love, with shimmying bass and dancing handclaps, is the poppiest track she has ever released. It Can't Be You, played on an Andean charango, is one of the simplest. Never Let Me Go is all crescendo, a woman in a storm, and the title track reaches soaring for the sky: has there ever been a better showcase for Bulat's powerhouse voice? For her steam-train heart?

Two months before I was due to begin recording, I suffered a deep loss, Bulat says. I kind of started over. She started; and she didn't stop.

    No Chance Baby

For anyone with an overindulged appetite for '60s garage compilations, Oscar & the Majestics must seem like old friends. In Sundazeds exhaustive dig through the prized USA & Destination Records catalogs, no other act and that includes hit makers like the Buckinghams and Cryin Shames, came close to the coverage afforded Oscar Hamod & the Majestics. If the group had left more than five tracks in the USA vaults, no doubt Sundazed would have included more.

Well, that was before Oscar opened up his vast personal archives, undisturbed for over 40 years, allowing for this first-ever collection of his complete 60s output. This includes the bands best known USA sides, like the impossibly cool, fuzzed-out Soul Finger, as well as ultra-rare, Oscar-pressed singles (including the first official reissue of House of the Rising Sun 1969; an over the top rearrangement that suffers no shortage of Oscar-fuzz/Oscar-attitude.

Most rewarding of all, this set unleashes the unreleased Baby Under My Skin and I Feel Good; both seriously Kinky krunchers from the USA era. As a bonus, Sundazed blows the lid off the untold history of Mr. Hamod and his rockin crew in a package also crammed with vintage photos and rare 45 label scans.

The Besnard Lakes Are The Roaring Night

With the aid of Besnard members Kevin Laing on drums and Richard White on guitar, The Besnard Lakes Are the Roaring Night is a dense, ambitious recording, experimenting, as always, with the studio as instrument. The album calls upon the influence of ELO and finer parts of the Alan Parsons Project in its orchestration. Still inspired by the Ghost of Beach Boys Past, the album is more Dennis Wilson than Brian, and more Peter Green Fleetwood Mac than Lindsay Buckingham. The album is a dark bliss-out that folds the eerie guitar epics of the Montreal band's breakthrough into a wall of affected drones and atmospherics, but with a toughened immediacy and grit that gives the form a much-needed shove over the cliffs, making for a haunting, provocative swan dive into the crushing tide.

    Rumours (Awaiting Repress)

Ranked 25/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

This 1975 multi-platimum album, Rumours became Fleetwood Mac's most celebrated album and one of the best-selling albums of all time. Certified at 18 million units by the RIAA (2/01).

The undisputed crown-jewel of the Fleetwood Mac catalog, Rumours has been certified an incredible nineteen times platinum and is one of the best-selling albums in history. A rare effort that transcends genre, generations, and the personnel that created it, Rumours is quite possibly THE definitive album of the 1970s and unquestionably, one of the most vital rock LPs ever made. With such classic rock staples as Dreams, Don't Stop, Go Your Own Way, You Make Loving Fun, The Chain, and Gold Dust Woman, Rumours reads like a greatest hits package rather than an incredible singe album. Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, and Co. simply make magic on every track. And while celebrated as one of the best break-up releases to enter the public realm, Rumours succeeds primarily because of the impeccable songwriting and passioned playing. No matter your age, interests, or tastes, this is a record everyone should own.

    American II: Unchained

The first four songs on Unchained come from the songbooks of Beck, Don Gibson, Soundgarden, and Jimmie Rodgers. What might look like absurdly
unsupportable eclecticism in other artists, of course, is pretty much standard stuff for Cash. Unchained is hardly standard, though; it's more like the best
album he's made since his 1984 departure from Columbia Records. Not only is this a stack of songs perfectly and idiosyncratically suited to the man,
they're given door-rattling backing treatment by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, who prove as fitting for Cash's music as his own Tennessee Two was
back in the day. --Rickey Wright

Two years on from his triumphant comeback album, American Recordings, 1996's Unchained took the blueprint of it's predecessor and added Tom Petty
& The Heartbreakers to the mix along with Marty Stuart, Lindsay Buckingham, Flea and many others. The results were just as fantastic, adding a different
dimension and fullness to the overall sound, but maintaining the mood and atmosphere that made American Recordings such a treasure. Songs written
by Petty, Chris Cornell and Beck rub shoulders with a handful of Johnny originals.

    Two Vines

Alt-electro pioneers Empire Of The Sun return with their third studio album, Two Vines, set for release via Astralwerks. With Two Vines, the Australian band invites listeners to enter the jungle paradise that marks the third remarkable age of the Empire Of The Sun. Through a waterfall of dreams, beyond the white light of an ice curtain lies a lush, green world where childlike innocence and ancient wisdom are one. The album's first single, "High & Low," offers a glimpse of this dreamlike kingdom.

"We always saw Empire as a movie," says Nicholas Littlemore, the co-pilot with Luke Steele of this fantastic vessel of electro-futurist sound and vision. "The whole concept was based around childhood fantasies; being in bed and staring at the posters on your wall, whether they were monster movies or outlandish rock stars or pieces of art. We always wanted to be one of those posters on a child's wall that had so much imagination locked into it, a kind of invitation that pushes you over the edge into dream world. With this record, it's time to take that next step."

Recorded in Hawaii and Los Angeles, Two Vines is co-produced by Empire Of The Sun and Peter Mayes (Sia, The Killers, Mika), alongside long-term collaborator, Donnie Sloan (Midnight To Monaco). It also sees the creative circle expanding with esteemed pianist/arranger Henry Hey and bassist Tim Lefebvre, from David Bowie's Blackstar band, featured heavily on the album. Factor in Wendy Melvoin from Prince's Revolution, as well as Fleetwood Mac's genius guitarist/vocalist Lindsey Buckingham, and the Empire's rainbow has never been so vast and colorful.

"Going to Hawaii to record was the best idea," says Luke Steele of sessions at Honolulu's Avex Studios - where Kanye West recorded 2010's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. "That was the catalyst for me. I'd spend the morning surfing, then roll in and make music into the night."

    Caveman

On Their self-titled sophomore album, Caveman strech thier legs in a number of different, albeit cohesive, directions.

Caveman-a five-man vibe collective from NYC-released their first album in 2011. As first albums go, CoCo Beware was something akin to a moody statement of intent, a blueprint for a band quickly learning how to create horizon-wide rock songs that were equal parts intimate and expansive. Initially self-released and later snatched up by Fat Possum for re-release in early 2012, the record brims over with four-part harmonies, crystalline guitar lines, and tracks that see-sawed between echoey lullaby ("A Country's King of Dreams") to shoegaze-by-way-of classic-FM-radio sprawl ("Old Friend"). The album quickly elevated Caveman from local band to watch to a sizable touring draw and formidable live act, as evidenced by stints on the road with the likes of The War on Drugs, White Rabbits and Built to Spill. Despite being the work of a brand new band, CoCo Beware displayed a kind of Zen-like ease. It was the sound a five friends settling into a nice groove; the music that happens when, for whatever reason, a lot of seemingly disparate elements finally fall into place.

"We all went up to Jimmy's grandmother's place in New Hampshire," says singer Matthew Iwanusa. "That's where the new record kind of started. It was literally the attic of her barn, lit up by Christmas lights. We'd all sit in this one room together and one by one we'd all go into the bathroom and record ourselves making the most psycho noises possible. It actually felt kind of like a weird breakthrough. We were all confident and comfortable enough with each other to try out these experiments, which extended itself into the making of the new record which is really just an evolution of this vibe that we'd been cultivating for long time."

With that, the guys holed up in Brooklyn's Rumpus Room to start recording in earnest with Nick Stumpf (who produced the band's debut album) and Albert Di Fiore behind the controls. The album is a kind of sonic microcosm-a series of emotional yet tough mini-narratives operating within the same quixotic musical universe.

As a result, the guitars on Caveman are bigger and more expansive, the rhythm section is tighter and more adventurous, the keyboards more opaque and pronounced. Like a marriage between Tangerine Dream, late period Slowdive, and Lindsey Buckingham, tracks like their new single "In the City" and "Ankles" boast synth lines that sound simultaneously retro and futuristic, while "Pricey" and "Never Want to Know" overflow with guitar sounds that could have miraculously floated off an old Cure album. It should be noted that James Carbonetti, the band's primary guitar player, also happens to be one of the most highly regarded guitar makers in New York City.

And while Caveman's music could certainly operate on the level of dreamy soundscape and still be excellent, the depth of feeling in front man Matthew Iwanusa's lyrics helps weave the songs deeply into your memory. When Iwanusa sings Where's the time to waste on someone else's life? on "Where's the Time," it's hard not to read between the lines. Wonder and regret seem to fuel the record in almost equal measure.
