Since its release in 1984, 'Reckless' has sold over 12 million copies worldwide. It has spawned huge hits such as 'Run to You', 'Kids Wanna Rock', 'Somebody', 'Summer of '69', 'One Night Love Affair' and 'It's Only Love' a duet with the incomparable Tina Turner. 'Reckless' also gave Bryan his first U.S. #1 on Billboard with 'Heaven' as well as a Diamond Award for over a million sold in his home country of Canada. The album was the turning point in Adams' career, leading him to tour all over the world and garner legions of fans with his legendary live shows.
The 'Reckless' reissue has been personally overseen by Bryan working with many of the original team including Bob Clearmountain, Bob Ludwig and Jim Vallance. The 2014 deluxe remaster by Bob Ludwing enticingly includes seven previously unreleased bonus tracks. These tracks were written as demos with Jim Vallance - the co-writer on the Reckless album. Of utmost interest to fans will be the actual inclusion of the track 'Reckless' which due to deadlines did not make it onto the original album.

In December 1984, Adams embarked on a two-year world tour to launch the album starting in Canada and the United States, then into Japan, Australia, back to the UK and again to Canada.
The recording on this deluxe vinyl release comes from the second show of two that Adams' played at the Los Angeles Palladium on 1st February 1985 as part of the tour. Recorded for FM Broadcast by local radio, this dynamic performance is available here on vinyl for the first time and provides a fascinating glimpse into Bryan's live work at this early juncture in his hugely successful career.

American music treasure Dwight Yoakam's special collaboration with leading bluegrass label Sugar Hill Records, Swimmin' Pools, Movie Stars is set for release this fall. For the making of this album, Yoakam assembled a band of bluegrass luminaries to reinterpret favorites from his catalogue of gems. The 11-track album features Yoakam compositions from his extensive catalog.
This project was produced by nine-time Grammy winner Gary Paczosa (Alison Krauss, Dolly Parton), Jon Randall (songwriter of Whiskey Lullaby") and Yoakam, recorded at both Southern Ground Studio (TN) and the legendary Capitol Records Studio B in Los Angeles and mixed by Chris Lord Alge. For the recording, the production team gathered together a world-class band of bluegrass's current greats including Grammy winner and nine-time international Bluegrass Music Association Guitar Player of the Year Bryan Sutton on guitar, Grammy winner Stuart Duncan on fiddle and banjo, 14-time Grammy winner Barry Bales on bass, Adam Steffey on mandolin (Alison Krauss), and Scott Vestal on banjo (Sam Bush). The LP also features harmony vocals by Jonathan Clark, Brian Whelan, Davey Faragher and newcomer Bryan Joyce.
