    Black To Blues (Pre-Order)

In April 2016, Black Stone Cherry released Kentucky, to great critical and commercial success. Kentucky reached new chart peaks for the band worldwide and was followed by massive touring through the United States, Europe, and Australia. In the midst of this all, the band found the time and dedication to record Black to Blues. On this EP, the quartet of Chris Robertson (vocals, guitar), Ben Wells (guitar, vocals), Jonathan Lawhon (bass, vocals) and John Fred Young (drums, harmonica, vocals) channel their blues music roots. The EP features six blues-classics originally written and/or performed by legendary musicians like Willie Dixon, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Booker T. Jones, Albert King and Freddy King. On Black to Blues, these traditional songs get wildly Black Stone Cherry-fied, while also paying homage to the original on the other hand.

    Middle Of The Road

Middle of the Road is Eric Gales' fourth album on Provogue/Mascot label Group (Joe Bonamassa, Beth Hart, Black Stone Cherry, Warren Haynes, The Robert Cray Band, Robben Ford, Eric Johnson, The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band). The albums follows Transformation (2011), Relentless (2010) and The Psychedelic Underground (2007), and it sees him at his most expressive yet; it is a deeply personal and reflective record that echoes where he is in his life right now and he opens himself up and allows himself the chance to really flourish. Middle of the Road is the running theme throughout the record.

In regards to the album Eric says It's about being fully focused and centered in the middle of the road. If you're on the wrong side and in the gravel, you're not too good and if you're on the median strip that's not too good either, so being in the middle of the road is the best place to be.

    Cherry Tree

The National's sophomore album, Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers (2003), found the band emerging onto a larger stage. Uncut called it a genuine treasure and named it an album of the year; it was hailed by Rolling Stone and the inde media; and Magnet, La Liberation (Paris) and the Chicago Tribune all tapped it for their year-end lists.

In France, the band had become such a sensation that renowned DJ Bernard Lenoir invited them to perform on his Black Sessions, following U.S. buzz bands like The Rapture and Interpol. A track from that session, Murder Me Rachael occupies the warm-blooded heart of Cherry Tree, a 7-song collection that delves the depths and brought their tension-wire rock to new heights.

Clocking in at just under 30 minutes, Cherry Tree was an EP, a mini-LP, or a bridge to the future. It features five new songs and two bonus tracks, including one of those aforementioned live performances from France inter radio and a trans-oceanic duet between the National's singer Matt Berninger and Clogs' Padma Newsome.

Vinyl edition includes download card and a third National poster which completes the triptych started on the first two vinyl National releases, the self-titled release and Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers.
