    We Don't Need To Whisper

Limited Edition 180-Gram Clear With Purple Haze Vinyl

With their 2006 debut album, We Don't Need To Whisper, Angels And Airwaves (AVA for short) strikes a blow for hope in dark times. ''The overall message on every AVA song,'' Tom DeLonge (guitarist/vocalist of Blink-182) told Kerrang! Magazine, ''is that tomorrow could be the best day of your life.''

Teaming up with Tom are his Box Car Racer colleague, guitarist David Kennedy, former Offspring drummer Atom Willard and one-time Distillers bassist Ryan Sinn. Tom emphasizes that AVA is no side project like Box Car Racer, nor a thinly-disguised solo vehicle. AVA is, first and foremost, a band. ''All of us have massive input, he adds. ''It's a collaborative effort.'' The four gathered at Tom's studio, Never Pants Ranch, to record the album with Tom producing.

''It's taken me 12 years to learn how to write an album like this,'' Tom told Alternative Press. ''It's taken 20 million records sold and arenas sold out across the world with Blink-182 to learn how music affects people, how it should be presented live and how to keep people interested (while taking) them on a journey. I feel this is some of the best music I've ever made.''

We Don't Need to Whisper peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 and has since sold nearly 800,000 copies.

    Angel Dust

In an era when numerous Funk Metal acts ruled the airwaves, one of the genre's forefathers Faith No More proved to be the undisputed masters of inventive songwriting with their album Angel Dust (1992). After gaining mainstream success with their previous album The Real Thing (off the back of global hit "Epic") in 1989, the band continued three years later with Angel Dust, a mind-bending masterpiece of musicianship. To celebrate the Music on Vinyl 180-gram reissue, we've pressed the first 2000 copies on transparent blue vinyl and included their impressive and popular Lionel Richie cover "Easy" as a hidden bonus track!

    Cypress Hill (25th Anniversary Edition)

Limited Edition 25th Anniversary Smokey Swirl Colored Vinyl

Cypress Hill's self-titled debut album was hard as nails, with very few pop concessions. There was humor, but it was laced by cackling, homicidal sneering. Not well known outside of the hardcore hip-hop scene at first, faces of the three group members weren't usually shown clearly in press photos; they preferred the shadows. As their first singles began hitting the airwaves and record racks, the press and music fans started to take notice. From the opening notes of the group's first single, "The Phuncky Feel One," to deeper album cuts like "Stoned Is The Way Of The Walk" and "Tres Equis," it was clear that Cypress Hill was something different. And very, very dope.

The world Cypress Hill espoused was gang-ridden and far from cheery, but they managed to laugh through the pain. Lead rapper B-Real took each fuzzed-out, rock-hard DJ Muggs beat as a challenge, jumping around it like a spark off a joint as it makes its way to the concrete. MC Sen Dog always had B-Real's back, to bring intensity and a no-bullshit gruffness that made the group both menacing and unpredictable. When they introduced percussionist Eric Bobo to the mix in the early 90s, it brought new dimension to the band, making their live performances one of the most unique and accomplished shows in hip-hop.

Journalist and author Chris Faraone highlights the group's relationship in the reissue's liner notes (which is included only in limited edition Skull) saying, "[By the late '80s] the undisputed Cypress unit finally formed. B and Sen realized that their diametric styles - the latter's deep wrangle, the former's inimitable high notes - complemented one another righteously. By then Muggs had bangers in the bag, as well as industry experience from a jaunt with the New York duo 7A3. B and Sen waited while Muggs messed with 7A3, and in that time began to build the blueprint for their raucous and weeded no-holds-barred style. Besides getting schooled on industry pitfalls, Muggs had also grown into hip-hop's most formidable young producer, while straddling the bi-coastal gap."

Cypress Hill's debut went gold by the end of 1991 and has since pushed past double platinum status, making it the first album for a Latino-American hip hop group to do so. The album received raves from the likes of Rolling Stone and the Los Angeles Times, saw a #1 Hot Rap Single with the release of "The Phuncky One" and helped the band win Artist Of The Year at the 1992 Source Awards. After 25 years, it should come as no surprise that Cypress Hill is a cornerstone of the group's live set to this day

Tomorrow's Gonna Be Another Day / High on A Mountain of Love

Kentucky born, Ohio raised; Tennessee jilted, California praised. That's the way the story goes, at least. In 1977 when Dwight Yoakam moved to Nashville to pursue his honky-tonk dreams, Nashville was moving away from the traditional and Countrypolitan sound it had spent the better part of a century developing, and more towards the pop-country that still holds the airwaves hostage. Dwight found that his musical aspirations were better suited for the post-Bakersfield, ''Hillbilly'' Los Angeles scene, and that his music was better received by the West coast punks and drunks than it ever was by the Music City establishment. It's a real stain on Nashville's history books, because Dwight Yoakam turned out to be one of the best damn artists country music has ever known. You know for certain now that Nashville has recognized its mistake by the sheer number of times ''Guitars, Cadillacs'' is picked on lower Broadway each day. It never gets old. It's practically the city anthem.

Third Man Records, as you know, is thrilled to call Nashville home to its label headquarters, and calling Nashville home means putting out some real country music records. We did it earlier this year from one Margo Price, and we're doing it again now, just in time for the CMA Music Festival next week. Dwight Yoakam recently took to the studio with our fearless leader Jack White III to record two of the swingin'est tunes we've ever had covered in our Blue Series: ''Tomorrow's Gonna Be Another Day'' (Boyce/Venet, popularized by The Monkees) b/w ''High On The Mountain of Love'' (Dorman, popularized by Kenny Lynch, then Johnny Rivers, then the Beach Boys, and recorded by many others along the way). Produced by White and backed by the Third Man band of all-stars - Lillie Mae Rische, Daru Jones, Cory Younts, Dominic Davis, Fats Kaplin - these two renditions, into which Dwight's delivery breathes new life, proves that with the right artist behind the microphone, any song'll make an even better country song. Now, have you ever heard anything more Nashville than that?

    Greatest Hits (Out Of Stock)

    Pressed On 180 Gram Vinyl

    Housed In a Gatefold Sleeve

Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits album of American rock band Blink-182. It was originally released on October 31, 2005 by Geffen Records. Greatest Hits was created by Geffen shortly after the band's February 2005 breakup, termed an indefinite hiatus by the label. Tensions had risen in the group and guitarist Tom DeLonge desired to take time off. Bassist Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker argued with DeLonge regarding the band's future and their possible next album, and heated exchanges led to DeLonge's exit. In the interim, Hoppus and Barker continued playing together in +44, and DeLonge formed his new outfit Angels & Airwaves.

The compilation collects the band's most successful singles with one new song and a non-album track. The collection covers tracks from the band's debut album Cheshire Cat (1995) to their most recent studio effort to that time, Blink-182 (2003). Greatest Hits features numerous hit singles by the band, including Dammit, What's My Age Again?, All the Small Things, The Rock Show, First Date, Feeling This and I Miss You. The B-side Not Now, which was recorded during the Blink-182 sessions, makes its first appearance on this compilation and was released as its lead single; a cover of Another Girl, Another Planet by the Only Ones was sent to radio as an airplay single.

Greatest Hits peaked at number six on the Billboard 200 album chart. Critics were generally very positive regarding Greatest Hits, viewing it a suitable, reflective compilation of the band's hits. Andy Greenwald of Blender called it a flawless compilation, covering the group's transition from nudists to near-geniuses.
