The Original #1 1971 Jazz Rock Fusion Classic!
First Time 180 Gram Audiophile Translucent Blue Vinyl & Gatefold Cover Presentation
Mastered By Joe Reagoso And Manufactured At R.T.I.
The legendary Weather Report set the music world on fire back in the early seventies with their hypnotic blend of progressive-fused jazz with funk, prog-rock and soul, augmented with the brilliant and skillful musicianship of their superstar founders Wayne Shorter on saxophone and various electronic reeds and the late great Joe Zawinul on a stunning array of keyboards and electronic instruments. Both of these legendary musicians/composers worked with Miles Davis on his classics like Bitches Brew, plus solid tenures with legends like Cannonball Adderley (Zawinul) and Art Blakey (Shorter) all of which would prove to become the huge catalyst for things to come.
Their 1971 fusion classic self-titled debut Weather Report would go on to yield one of the biggest albums of
their career as it hit the top rungs of the jazz charts, plus major showings in the pop and R&B charts thanks to the progressive jazz, funk and rock cohesiveness and articulate musicianship of this power quintet.
No stone is left unturned, as this masterpiece is loaded with champions like Joe Zawinul's brilliant Orange Lady, the powerful Milky Way by Wayne Shorter and Joe Zawinul and of course the prog leanings of Waterfalls and Eurydice all which made this a top charting album in 1971.
As one of the most enduring albums in their massive career catalog, Weather Report also features the all-star
lineup of Joe Zawinul, Wayne Shorter, Miroslav Vitous (bass), Alphonse Mouzon (drums) and Airto Moreira (percussion). All in all, Weather Report took the fans by storm, forever retaining the title superstars to the Weather Report franchise.

Comb 60sThe A-side of Benga's debut for Planet Mu, Comb 60S, provides dance floor devastation in the shape of deep, hollow sub bass, spine-tingling stabs and jaunty pizzicato breakdowns. Killers About meanwhile sustains the paranoia of a dangerous chase scene with '70s electric piano riffs, '80s electro percussion, and a contemporary twisting bass line.1. Comb 60s

ChiefEric Church is on a mission. You might expect someone coming off of their first two Top Ten country singles and an ACM Award for 'Top New Solo Vocalist' to lock down the formula and go for more of the same, but with third album, Chief, Church is trying something bolder and using the opportunity provided by his success to push his music even further. The lead single Homeboy is perhaps the bravest track on Chief. It is a provocative appeal from one brother to another to get back on track and make peace with his family.
I have a theory that all of us only get a small window of time to make records when people will really listen and care, he says. Its up to us to move the needle. People like Waylon and Cash or Garth and Strait, they all changed the direction of the music a little bit.
The desire to capture the intensity of his live show on record is indicated right in the title of the new album. Chief was my grandfathers nickname, and it has become my nickname on the road, Church reveals. When its show time, I put on the sunglasses and the hat, and thats how people know its game time. This album was made from a live place; we recorded it with the live show in mind, so it just seemed right to make that the title.
If there is one thing country music needs more of, its the attitude that is driving Eric Church, the approach behind every song on Chief, the fearlessness that lets an artist swing for the fences and try to leave a mark on history. There were safer choices I could have made for sure, but I just cant feel that helps anybody, he says. If you have any respect for the music, youll use each chance you get to try to be one of the ones who moves the flag.1. Creepin'

A Wolf In Sheeps ClothingGet on Down is proud to present A Wolf in Sheep's
Clothing, the debut album by Black Sheep, available for the
first time ever as double vinyl release. On the initial release
of this classic it was "The Choice Is Yours" that blew the
roof off with even the most of novice rap fans gravitating to
the song's energy. The cut has gone on to be featured in a
long list of films and commercials (including the KIA
campaign with the hip hop hamsters).
Singles like "The Choice Is Yours" and "Flavor of the Month" made a perfect landing strip for those to delve deeper into the
duo's debut. Often humorous ("Strobelite Honey"), often serious ("Black with No N.V (No Vision)", Black Sheep were able to
craft an album that displayed their witty sensibilities while also staying conscious in true Native Tongue form. From the moment
the album starts with Prince Paul introducing the "lowlifes of the family tree" you know you are in for something special .and
different. Mista Lawnge's production is every bit as textured as fellow counter parts Tribe or De La, while standing out as being
completely original and fresh. Tracks like "Butt in the Meantime", "Try Counting Sheep" and "La Menage (Featuring Q Tip)" are
great examples of the duo's original style - complex layered beats (everything from Jazz, Soul and Rock all meshed together
perfectly) to compliment Dres' distinct voice and word play. With other standout album cuts like "For Those That Slept" and
"To Who It May Concern" it seemed as if they had an endless bag of treats, each offering something different while
preserving the groups style.
Polar opposite to what other groups at the time were doing, Black Sheep hit a homerun with their debut that few hip hop acts
would ever reach. VH1 called "The Choice Is Yours" one of the Top 100 Hip Hop tracks of all time and with not one bad or filler
track, this full album certainly ranks as one of the best hip hop releases of the 90s.LP 1

Thelema 6 (Out of Stock)'Thelema 6' was originally released in 2000, and stood as an important milestone in the evolution of Behemoth and introduced more elements from the death metal genre, all the time advancing and developing further from their black metal roots, both as composers and musicians.
'Thelema 6' is their fifth album and a fair step away from their early raw and primitive beginnings. It was recorded and self-produced at Hendrix Studio, Poland. Behemoth have since risen to the forefront of the extreme metal scene, well known for their great technicality and refined musicianship which has seen
the music translate effortlessly to the live environment with numerous headline tours & festival appearances.1. Antichristian Phenomenon
