    Timeless Wavelength

Double 140g Vinyl LP In A Gatefold Sleeve

Recorded Live At Kiel Auditorium, St Louis, Missouri, Usa, February 12, 1980

Mastered At Abbey Road Studios, London

Timeless Wavelength is a high quality vinyl-only 1980 double live set from one of the
biggest rock groups in history, recorded live at Kiel Auditorium, St Louis, Missouri, USA, February 12, 1980.

Rush are Canada's biggest rock export, with millions of sales of their nineteen studio albums recorded between 1974 and the present day.
Formed in Toronto at the end of the 1960s, it was their second album Fly By Night which saw drummer Neil Peart join forces with singer / bass player Geddy Lee and guitar gunslinger Alex Lifeson on the path to rockstardom. Which came in 1976 with their fourth album 2112, the sci fi concept piece that fills side one being performed on Timeless Wavelenth in its entirety.

Rush hit the charts with 1980 smash The Spirit Of Radio from the album Permanent Waves (that year's tour is when Timeless Wavelength was recorded).
The following year saw the biggest album of their career, Moving Pictures (including the hit Tom Sawyer).
Since then they have sustained their position as one of rock's biggest bands, with millions of tickets, records and t-shirts sold -- even the kids in South Park (led by superfan Cartman) are in a Rush tribute band.

Hanni El-Khatib, touted as one of the most talented acts in L.A. right now is a a one-man band, singing, songwriting and producing all on his own. His debut album, Will The Guns Come Out features a synthesized mix of '50s and '60s garage rock, soul, blues and even a bit of folk. His attitude is his greatest attribute, claiming to strive to write songs about anyone whos ever been shot or hit by a train and he brings with him the rawness of Phil Spector, Jack White, the Shangri-Las and the Black Keys all at once.

    Texas

In a year when overproduced rock-fluff flooded radio
waves, Texas-Sudden's 1986 solo debut for Creation-
blasted through the saccharin for a damaged and masterful
invocation at the imperfect alters of Chilton and Bolan,
sonic influences the Brit bore proudly on his velvet sleeve
throughout the course of his polarizing prolificacy. As the
increasingly splintered Rolling Stones cultivated "Harlem
Shuffle" cover cheese, the former Jacobite leader looked
to the ragged Exile On Main St. and Sticky Fingers roots
of his icons for a raw, 12-song predication melding tender
jangle and staggering swagger. Widely considered Sudden's
solo magnum opus, Texas is an exquisite mÉlange of the
    off-kilter sub-terrestrial songwriter.

In founding Swell Maps, the post-punk prefacing
Birmingham art-snots, Nikki Sudden and his drumming
brother Epic Soundtracks charted new territory for racket
and corrosive guitar. But after folding Swell Maps at the
dawn of the '80s, Nikki Sudden plowed through another
decade's worth of terrifically fertile ground. Drawing on
his devotion to the Rolling Stones and T. Rex-alongside
guitarist Dave Kusworth as Jacobites, plus a cheekily named
cohort of British sidemen-Nikki Sudden cut a string of
raw, inspired rock 'n' roll records, etched with double-edged travel melancholia and hard-bitten punk dejection.

    Pridjevi

Pridjevi is the recording project of Dino Santaleza , Ivana Picek & Nina Romic; a trio of Croatian songwriters who formed the band on a lark, trading ideas & songs over email until birthing what would become Pridjevi's debut album. After releasing it via Bandcamp in the spring of 2014 as a digital-only release, the album caught the ears of Trouble In Mind who present it here in the vinyl & compact disc format. Pridjevi's s/t debut is a dizzyingly psychedelic magnum-opus & a stunning debut, stitching together a seemingly disparate range of inspirations such as psychedelia, acid rock, baroque pop, Tropicalia, and Eastern ragas into an addictivel listenable whole. The band sings entirely in Croation, but the melodies & songs carry the entire weight of the album, holding the listener's attention until the last note is struck. Pridjevi's tunes feel almost like rock devotionals to a higher spirit; heavy, hypnotic & wholly unique. The band has evolved into a fully functional live unit, playing shows & festivals in Europe, building a solid fanbase, particularly in their native country, where the band has already been featured in Rolling Stone & beyond.

    Marble Saddle Brown Vinyl

1996 release 12 Golden Country Greats is the Pennsylvania duo's 5th full-length but the first to stick to just one style which was, surprisingly enough, country music. That said, the title of the album is only half-correct as there's actually only 10 songs here, why? You'll have to ask Dean and Gene that one. Featuring some of Nashville's greatest session musicians (including Pig Robbins, Charlie McCoy, and the Jordanaires), this is one of Ween's finest records to date, with that classic Ween sense of humor filtered through a distinct countrypolitan sound. 1996's Dance Into The Light presented a flavor of the unexpected as elements of world music came to the fore, most notably with flourishes of Afrobeat-styled percussion on several tracks. Sounding remarkably like Patsy Cline, LeAnn Rimes's voice slices into each song like a hot knife through butter. At the age of 13, Rimes became country's brightest new star upon the release of this impressive debut. Her balanced blend of traditional and new country owes as much to Cline as it does 1990s' style. Cattle Call, a duet with the legendary Eddy Arnold, is just one of the many highlights on this album.

Attention is focused on Rimes's distinctive booming vocals, as opposed to some snappy chops--musically, it all sounds familiar, like you have heard this before. Still, there are moments where you feel this could not be the voice of a child. As she matures, so will her feelings and presumably her songs. --Paula Ghergia

    Chapter And Verse

'Chapter and Verse,' the audio companion to Bruce Springsteen's extraordinary forthcoming autobiography, will be released on Columbia Records. The career-spanning compilation will be released four days before Simon & Schuster publishes 'Born to Run.' Five of the album's 18 tracks have not been previously released.

Springsteen selected the songs on 'Chapter and Verse' to reflect the themes and sections of 'Born to Run.' The compilation begins with two tracks from The Castiles, featuring a teenaged Springsteen on guitar and vocals, and ends with the title track from 2012's 'Wrecking Ball.' The collected songs trace Springsteen's musical history from its earliest days, telling a story that parallels the one in the book.

Recordings from Steel Mill and The Bruce Springsteen Band feature musicians who would go on to play in The E Street Band. Solo demos of "Henry Boy" and "Growin' Up" were cut in 1972 shortly before Springsteen began recording his debut album, 'Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.'

    No Waves

Body/Head is the duo of Kim Gordon (Sonic Youth, Free Kitten) and guitarist Bill Nace (Northampton Wools, Celyon Mange). They play experimental, free-form guitar drones highlighed by Gordon's unmistakable voice. Their sound is an immersive, three-dimensional experience and no two performances are similar.

No Waves was recorded on March 24th, 2014 during Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, TN at the Bijou Theater. This live album (don't jump to conclusions, please read ahead) captures Kim Gordon and Bill Nace at peak chemistry during the tour supporting 2013's critically lauded Coming Apart.

The band have not played many shows since forming, but those who have been able to see them live have left their jaws on the floor. This album is the piece of the Body/Head puzzle for those who have not seen the band live and for those that have, something they want to own.

Instead of presenting "tracks" or "songs" from the record, we present moments from this one pinnacle set that was luckily for us beautifully caught in time.

World-renowned artist and long-time friend of Kim Gordon, Raymond Pettibon has made an original piece of art for the cover of the album.

Ode To The Inverse Of The Dude (Discontinued) (On Sale)

When producer David Newfeld (Broken Social Scene, Los Campesinos!) agreed to helm the latest High Strung album, a strange/wonderful meeting was set to take place. In the height of a brutal Canadian winter, the High Strung brought a decidedly different batch of songs with them to the small church-studio of the legendary indie producer. Josh Malerman (songwriter) has written his first group of personal numbers, songs that addressed bizarre psychological states as well as revealing/comforting ideas of a man turning himself inside out, the idea of celebratory self-examination.

Ode to the Inverse of the Dude sounds a lot like what it's about; there's no doubt Newfeld stretched a band who was ready to be stretched and the outcome is a fantastic/blissful proclomation. It's an exploratory album, combining dreamy sounds and lyrics with the magnificence of the rock band that the High Strung is. The album is an honest original, but it's not a puzzle, it's a matter of heart. Songs like ôGuilt is How IÆm Built,ö ôStanding at the Door of Self-Discoveryö and ôOut of Character,ö not only adhere to the theme but feel and sound like a genuine self-evaluation where the subject is equal parts excited and frightened about their discoveries. Derek Berk and Chad Stocker, one of the countryÆs most colorful/dynamic rhythm sections, do not disapoint as they bring to life this coming together of wonderful artists. This record is a musical/pyschological triumph for both a producer who has worked his magic into the hearts of millions and a band who gets better with every album.

Metropolis Part 2: Scenes From A Memory

Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory is the fifth studio album by American progressive Metal/Rock band Dream Theater. Originally released in 1999, it was recorded at BearTracks Studios in New York, where the band had previously recorded their second studio album Images And Words and the EP A Change of Seasons.

The album is the sequel to Metropolis-Part I: The Miracle And The Sleeper, a song previously featured on the band's 1992 album Images and Words [MOVLP780]. It was the first album to feature Jordan Rudess on keyboards.

In 2012, Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory was voted as the number one all-time progressive Rock album in a poll conducted by Rolling Stone, beating Rush's 2112 and Close to the Edge by Yes.

Hold Your Fire is an album in the purest sense; infinitely greater than the sum of its parts, it gradually draws in the listener by slowly revealing its nuances and secrets. While the use of keyboards is still overwhelming at times, Geddy Lee employs lush textures which, when coupled with a greater rhythmic and melodic presence from guitarist Alex Lifeson, results in a far warmer sound than in recent efforts. Of course, drummer Neil Peart is as inventive and exciting as ever, while his lyrics focus on the various elements (earth, air, water, fire) for much of the album. Opener Force Ten is the band's most immediate number in years, and other early favorites such as Time Stand Still and Turn the Page soon give way to the darker mysteries of Prime Mover and Tai Shan. The multifaceted Lock and Key is quintessential Rush, and sets the stage for the album's climax with the sheer beauty of Mission. As was the case with 1976's 2112 and 1981's Moving Pictures, Rush always seem to produce some of their best work at the end of each four-album cycle, and Hold Your Fire is no exception.
